WATERBURY — Naugatuck will face Crosby tonight in the semifinals of the NVL boys basketball tournament.

The No. 2 Greyhounds and the No. 3 Bulldogs will meet at 5 p.m. at Wilby High School in Waterbury.

Naugy advanced with a 59-56 win over St. Paul in the opening round of the tournament on Saturday. Jarron Chapman led the Greyhounds with 20 points. Dayvon Russell had 16 points. Jason Bradley and C.J. Wall added eight points each.

Crosby, the defending NVL champions, dispatched No. 6 Holy Cross, 65-55, Saturday to advance.

Naugy and Crosby met only once in the regular season. Naugatuck earned the 78-71 win in December.
