City Hill Middle School to unveil new banners
NAUGATUCK — City Hill Middle School will host a ceremony next week to unveil new garnet and grey banners and a new vinyl for the scoreboard in the gymnasium.
The banners and vinyl were donated by Ion Bank. The ceremony will take place in between the doubleheader basketball games beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. All past athletes named individually or collectively on the banners are invited to attend the game.
Post 17 American Legion announces registration
NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Post 17 American Legion baseball program is holding registration on Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 21 Cedar St.
Registration will be open for Senior Legion (19U), Junior Legion (17U), and Prep (15U). All players must live in Naugatuck or have at least one parent living in Naugatuck. The registration fee is $200.
