BEACON FALLS — Eight NVL dance teams vied for the league championship Feb. 8 at Woodland Regional High School in Beacon Falls.
Each team performed two routines, which were scored by a panel of judges. Wolcott won the title with 536.2 points, followed by Woodland with 530.9 points. Naugatuck finished sixth.
Naugatuck’s Alissa Rodrigues and Jenifer Rodrigues and Woodland’s Sarah Rioux, Vanessa Adams and Brittney Casson were named to the All-NVL team. Adams was named outstanding senior.
