It was a fall season unlike any other in the history of high school sports, and although the seasons for Naugatuck and Woodland ended without a postseason, the Naugatuck Valley League and the Connecticut High School Coaches Association still decided to recognize outstanding athletes.

The only category of awards missing from the usual list is All-NVL; since league play was restricted to division-only competition, NVL athletic directors voted to forgo all-league awards in favor of all-division teams. In addition, top seniors were only selected in cross country and swimming.
