Naugatuck Basketball Association wraps up regular season

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Basketball Association reported results from recent games. The regular season ended March 27, and the playoffs started March 29.

Palmer Herman Chiropractic 74, Ion Bank 60: Mike Rivera led Palmer Herman Chiropractic with 33 points. Jesse Lanci had 21 points and Ryan Galiette added 13. John Braziel led Ion Bank with 25 points. Evan Nakaneza had 11 points and Ian Wilkinson added 12.

New Era Barbershop 65, Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home 58: Nate Tula had 17 points to lead New Era Barbershop. Jace Molcuik had 19 points and Fin Galvin added nine. Sean Barton led Buckmiller with 19 points. Evan Pettele had 16 points and Eli Cotto added 14.

B&G Sports Company 70, Rich’s Car Works 53: Chris Langlais scored a game-high 27 points to lead B&G. Mitch Langlais had 12 points and 12 assists, and Fred Longo had 21 points. Derek Sampaio led Rich’s with 15 points. Doreen Chapman had 14 points, and Anthony Campana and John Lastra added 9 points each.

Palmer Herman 68, Liberty Bank 40: Jesse Lanci had 26 points, Mike Rivera had 17 points and Mike Amankwah added 10 points for Palmer Herman. Jayshawn Lindsey led Liberty Bank with 13 points. John Vincent added seven.

Nardelli’s 79, Ion Bank 69: Alex Sosa led Nardelli’s Grinders with 25 points. Nick Bruno had 18 points, and Mark Nofri and Kyle Engler added seven points each. John Braziel led Ion Bank with 14 points. Evan Nakaneza and Edgar Morales had 12 points each.

Alderson Funeral Home 55, Elks 46: Xavier Smith and Joe Garlich had 17 points each for Alderson Funeral Home. Chris Pieper led The Elks with 13 points. Logan Martin had 11 points and Brandon Becker added eight.

The B&G Sports Company 110, Ion Bank 58: Chris Langlais led B&G with 41 points. Tristian Crelan had 26 points, Fred Longo scored 23, and Mitch Langlais added 14 points. Tyler Markey led Ion Bank with 18 points. Evan Nakoneczny scored 13 points, Ian Wilkinson had 12 points and John Brazel added 10.

New Era Barbershop 68, Rich’s Car Works 55: Franklin Oganda led New Era with 23 points. Aston Viacava had 14 points, and Jared Montini and Nate Deptula had 12 points each. Derek Sampaio led Rich’s Car Works with 17 points. Doreen Chapman scored 13 points, and Anthony Campana and Isaiah Williams had nine each.

Alderson Funeral Home 79, Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci 72: Xavier Smith led Alderson Funeral Home with 36 points. Jordan Wall had 26 points and Ryan Kiley added 13 points. Eli Coto led Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci with 23 points. Ray Hess had 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Evan Pettele had 15 points.

The Police 79, Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci 40: Steve Alziphat led The Police with 15 points. Matt Carroll scored 11 points, and Tommy Ayash had 10. Evan Pettelle led Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci with 12 points, and Ray Hess, Eli Cotto and Luis Bonilla had eight points each.

Liberty Bank 59, Ion Bank 52: Jayshawn Lindsey led Liberty Bank with 18 points. Jake Kalinowski scored 10 points and Eli Gonzales added nine. For Ion Bank, John Braziel scored 19 points and Ian Willkinson had 10 points.

Coldwell Banker Realty 2000 82, Rich’s Car Works 45: Orlando Ramos and Paul Marsh had 29 points and 22 points, respectively, for Coldwell Banker Realty. Doreen Chapman led Rich’s Car Works with 16 points. Derek Sampaio scored nine points and Tyrell Allen added eight points.

B&G Sports Company 66, Nardelli’s 61: Chris Langlais had 25 points, Tristian Crelan had 17 points and Mitch Langlais had 11 points for B&G Sports. Nick Bruno led Nardelli’s with 30 points and Alex Sosa had 11 points.

Alderson Funeral Home 58, The Police 55: Xavier Smith led Alderson Funeral Home with 30 points and Joe Garlick added 12 points. Matt Carroll led The Police with 17 points. Jimmy Ayash had 11 points and Greg Lutreylaakv scored 14.

The Elks 49, Liberty Bank 43: Chris Pieper had 18 points, and Jason Spino and Brandon Becker had 10 points each for The Elks. John Vincent and Jake Fazekas had 18 points each for Liberty Bank.
