Naugatuck Basketball Association season in full swing

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Basketball Association reported the following results from recent games:

New Era 78, Coldwell Banker 74: Franklin Ogando led New Era with 21 points. Jayce Green added 17 points and Nate Deptula had nine. Jalaquis Minnefield scored 37 points, Orlando Ramos added 19 points, and Jeff Schebell had 12 for Coldwell Banker.

Palmer Herman 82, Elks 68: Mike Rivera and Jesse Lanci had 28 points each for Palmer Herman. Mike Amankwah added 20. Hayward Moore led the Elks with 24 points. Jake Murphy had 12 and Brendon Becker added 11.

Nardelli’s Grinders 63, Rich’s Car Works 55: Nick Bruno led Nardelli’s with 24 points. Alex Sosa had 12 points and Ryan McCarthy added seven. Doreen Chapman led Rich’s with 23 points. Justin Gladding had 11 points and Derek Sampaio added 10.

Palmer Herman 79, Rich’s Car Works 62: Jesse Lanci scored 30 points, Mike Rivera had 27, and Mike Amankwah finished with 17 for Palmer Herman. Doreen Chapman led Rich’s with 23 points. Isaiah Williams had 13 points and Derek Sampaio added eight points.

Alderson Funeral Home 103, New Era 61: Xavier Smith led Alderson with 40 points. Jordan Wall scored 19 points and Mike Watford had 16 points. Jerry Martini led New Era with 15 points. Franklin Ogando had 18 points and Ashton Viacava scored 11.

B&G Sports 73, Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home 46: Chris Langlais and Fred Longo each scored 21 points to lead B&G. Mitch Langlais added 18. Eli Coto had 14 points and Ray Hess added 13 for Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci.

Police 61, New Era 59: Matt Carroll led the Police with 25 points. Tommy Ayash scored 17 points and Greg Lutreylakv added 13 points. Jared Montini led New Era with 21 points. Franklin Ogondo had nine, and Finnbar Galvin and Ashtin Viacava each scored eight points.

B&G Sports 88, Elks 56: Chris Langlais scored 31 to lead B&G. Mitch Langlais scored 22 points and Tristan Crelan had 21. Hayward Moore led the Elks with 23 points. Brandon Becker had 21 points.

Palmer Herman 77, Nardelli’s Grinders 69: Jesse Lanci led the way with 31 points for Palmer Herman. Mike Rivera had 20 points and Nick Tarney added 11 points. Nick Bruno led Nardelli’s with 27 points. Zach Koslosky had 13 points and Zach Royka added 10.
