PROSPECT — The Woodland Jr. Hawks are holding its third annual 5K Run for Fun and 2 Mile Walk.
The event will be held, rain or shine, June 14. All ages are welcome to participate. The race and walk both begin and end at Prospect Town Hall, 36 Center St. Registration and check-in start at 8 a.m. The walk begins at 9:10 a.m. followed by the 5K at 9:30 a.m. Awards will be presented at 10:30 a.m.
The registration fee is $25. All the proceeds benefit the Jr. Hawks program. Those who pre-register and the first 50 people to register on race day get a free T-shirt.
