Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Edwin Ayala, 38, of no certain address, was charged July 30 with second-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 30 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a larceny incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on July 8, 2019 in which the accused stole the victim’s motor vehicle, police reported. The accused was released on a $25,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 30.

Wayne Conroy, 49, of 30 Martha St., Seymour, was charged July 30 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on July 30 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a larceny incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on Dec. 25, 2018 in which the accused siphoned gas from several vehicles while trespassing, police reported. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 7.

Jmes Jean Marshall, 26, of 150 Willow St., Waterbury, was charged July 30 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 30 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 7.

Ray Rodriguez, 38, of 166 Meadow St. 2Fl., Naugatuck, was charged July 30 with first-degree failure to appear and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 30 the accused was arrested on active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants while in custody at Waterbury Superior Court. The accused was held to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 30.

Kayla Jayne Radley, 24, of 49 Golden Hill St. Apt. 2, Naugatuck, was charged July 30 with disorderly conduct and second-degree violation of conditions of release.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 4:27 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a reported domestic dispute. Police reported it was determined that the two became involved in a verbal altercation that became physical. The accused and released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 31.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 9:52 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a reported violation of conditions of release. Police reported it was also determined that the accused was in violation of a standing conditions of release after just being released from custody a few hours prior to this incident. The accused was held on a $25,000 surety bond scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 31.

Thomas V. Addenbrooke, 53, of 441 Chapel St. Apt. G1, New Haven, was charged July 31 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Police reported on July 31 at approximately 11:29 p.m. officers initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 282 South Main St. at the Mobil station. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 15.

Marlon G. Haye, 45, of 234 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 1 with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 1 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on March 11, 2019. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in
Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 2.

Tyler Christopher Nixon, 18, of 847 May St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 1 with third-degree assault-victim elderly or other, conspiracy to commit third-degree assault-victim elderly or other and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 1 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on July 2, 2019. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in
Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 14.

Ryan John Morgan, 26, of 4 Hart Court, Oxford, was charged Aug. 1 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on Aug. 1 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a motor vehicle investigation that was conducted by the Naugatuck police on July 9, 2019. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 2.

Andrea Lee Marino, 45, of 67 Cayuga Road, Watertown, was charged Aug. 1 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Police reported on Aug. 1 at approximately 9:54 p.m. officers initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of King Street and Allerton Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and /or drugs. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 15.

Megan Marie Cusano, 21, of 185 Beacon Road, Bethany, was charged Aug. 2 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Police reported on Aug. 2 officers initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 751 New Haven Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, it was determined that the accused was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 15.

James Shelton, 28, of 53 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 2 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 2 officers were dispatched to a suspicious person complaint in the area near Baummer’s Pond. Through the officer’s investigation and witness statements, police reported, the accused was found to be yelling and threatening residents in the area. Police reported the accused was also found in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on $2,500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 14.

Karon Jahi McCollum, 22, of 20 Stable At. Apt. rear, Norwalk, was charged Aug. 2 with risk of injury to child, third-degree assault and two counts of disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 2 the accused was arrested on active arrest warrants out of this town. The warrants stemmed from domestic incidents that were reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on July 4 and July 19. The accused was released on a bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 5.

Andres Felipe Restrepo-Ramirez, 30, of 151 Andrew Ave. Apt. 23, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 3 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs (second offense).

Police reported on Aug. 3 officers initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 585 South Main St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, it was determined that the accused was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and traveling unreasonably fast. The accused was released on $2,500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 14.

Jennifer Lee Thornton, 35, of 189 Buckingham St. Apt. 2W, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 4 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Police reported on Aug. 4 officers initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Allerton Farms Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, it was determined that the accused was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and failed to drive in the proper lane. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 21.

Dominic Woods, 18, of 345 Anna Ave., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 4 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Police reported on Aug. 4 officers were dispatched to the area of Yorktown Lane for a motor vehicle accident. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, it was determined that the accused was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on $1,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 14.
