Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Brian C. McDonald, 35, of 44 Kasson Road, Bethlehem, was charged Aug. 16 with possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Aug. 16 an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on the Salem Bridge. During the course of the investigation, police reported, the accused was found to have an active arrest warrant from Derby police. Further investigation revealed drug paraphernalia, heroin and crack cocaine, police reported. The accused was released to Derby police on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 1.

Sarah Jane Lewis, 40, of 4 Shepaug Road, Sandy Hook, was charged Aug. 16 with possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal operation of motor vehicle without minimum insurance, illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension and improper use-high beam light.

Police reported on Aug. 16 an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on the Salem Bridge. During the course of the investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of a large amount of narcotic paraphernalia. Police reported the accused was also operating a motor vehicle without insurance, suspended license and suspended registration. The accused was and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 1.

Randolph Tineo, 34, of 11 Southview St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 17 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 17 at approximately 9:34 p.m. officers responded to an address in this town in response to a physical domestic in which the victim’s hair was pulled and the victim was pushed several times. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 18.

June Kathleen Hogan, 67, of 121 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Aug. 18 at 7:06 p.m. officers were dispatched to Mountain View Plaza, 727 Rubber Ave., for a possible intoxicated party. Police reported the party was then located and identified as the accused. Through investigation, police reported, officers learned the accused was at a smoke shop with another person in violation of a no-contact protective order. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 19.
