Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:
Luis Lebron, 23, of 342 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, was charged March 8 with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment.
Police reported on March 8 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant at Waterbury Superior Court. Police reported the warrant was from a domestic incident, where the accused threatened and harassed the victim. The accused was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 8.
Lance Lydem, 18, of 521 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 8 with illegal possession of weapon in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police reported on March 8 officers were patrolling the area of City Hill Street and John Street, where an officer observed an older green Jeep Grand Cherokee that was wanted in questioning for an aggravated assault complaint that occurred the night before. A motor vehicle stop was conducted. Police reported further investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle was in a possession of a knife. Police said a search of the accused’s vehicle revealed four other knives. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 21.
Yairi Luz Matiz, 24, of 194 A Bamford Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 8 with improper use of marker, license or registration, illegal operation of motor vehicle without minimum insurance, failure to keep narcotics in original container, possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis and possession of less than half ounce of cannabis.
Police reported on March 8 officers conducted a motor vehicle stop as a result of misuse of registration. Through further investigation, police reported, officers discovered a controlled substance in the vehicle. The accused was released on a $2,500 non-surety and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Court on April 14.
Jahari Dorsey, 20, of 319 Winthrop Ave., New Haven, was charged March 9 with first-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.
Police reported on March 9 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant at Waterbury Superior Court. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused stole multiple high-dollar items from a residence. The accused was held to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 9.
Scott Todd Williams, 33, of 203 Williams St., Glastonbury, was charged March 9 with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on March 9 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant for a larceny that happened Oct. 11, 2020. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 14.
David Rodriguez, 36, of 1655 Post Road East, Westport, was charged March 9 with second-degree failure to appear, third-degree assault-victim elderly or other and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on March 9 at approximately 10:46 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. It was discovered through the investigation, police reported, that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused slapped the victim in the face. Police reported further investigation showed the accused had an active failure to
appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 10.
Troy Kosienski, 44, of 30 Antonio Ave., Meriden, was charged March 10 with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment.
Police reported on March 10 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident, where the accused was involved in a verbal argument with the victim. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 11.
Shameeka Jaynes, 23, of 30 Hart Circle Apt. 10, Waterbury, was charged March 10 with illegal operation of motor vehicle without minimum insurance and interfering with an officer/resisting.
Police reported on March 10 an arrest warrant was served on the accused. Police reported the warrant was submitted after the accused gave officers false information while they were investigating an incident involving the accused’s vehicle on Feb. 25, 2021. The accused was released on a $500.00 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on April 21.
Melisanda Kahrimanovic, 32, of 60 Pier Pont St., Waterbury, was charged March 10 with sixth-degree larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with an officer/resisting.
Police reported on March 10 at 3:29 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported the accused took off in her vehicle. Police reported officers were able to locate the accused as she was driving and conduct a motor vehicle stop. Through further investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be driving on a suspended license, had drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and resisted officers during arrest. The accused was issued a $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 21.
Arthur Lee Witherspoon, 31, of 25 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged March 10 with violation of probation and violation of protective order.
Police reported on March 10 at approximately 4:53 p.m. officers responded to the area of Lewis Circle on a violation of a protective order complaint. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused was in violation of a protective order by going by the residence of the protected person. Police reported the accused was also arrested on an active arrest warrant for a probation violation. The accused was held and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 11.
Giovanni Manfredi Rivera, 22, of 632 Baldwin St. Apt. 2N, Waterbury, was charged March 10 with violation of protective order.
Police reported on March 10 at approximately 10:34 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of harassing phone calls. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused was in violation of a full protective order by contacting the complainant. Police reported the accused was found shortly after at another residence in Naugatuck. The accused was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 11.
Enroy Andre Anderson, 46, of 339 Fairfield Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 11 with violation of protective order, failure to display plates, illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension, failure to renew registration and improper use of marker, license or registration.
Police reported on March 11 while on routine traffic patrol the accused was observed driving his vehicle with the headlights off. Police reported a motor vehicle investigation was initiated on New Haven Road. Police reported the accused was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license, unregistered motor vehicle, and a misuse of registration. During the investigation, police reported, it was discovered the accused had a protective order and the victim was the passenger in the vehicle. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 11.
Gonzalo Ortiz, 36, of 11 Lines St. Apt. 2R, Naugatuck, was charged March 11 with third-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace.
Police reported on March 11 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident, where the accused was trespassing and breached the peace in the neighborhood. The accused was held on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 12.
Josue A. Medina, 31, of 201 Madison Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 11 with sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on March 11 at approximately 9:30 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported the accused stole $47.68 worth of merchandise. The accused was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury
Superior Court on April 21.
Barry A. Albaugh, 45, of 81 Golden Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged March 12 with violation of probation.
Police reported on March 12 the accused turned himself in on an active violation of probation arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $50,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 12.
Ninosca Miriam Pacheco, 36, of 262 Walnut St., Waterbury, was charged March 12 with sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on March 12 at approximately 5:12 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported the accused stole $107.97 worth of merchandise. The accused was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury
Superior Court on April 21.
Connor Pike, 18, of 21 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 12 with failure to respond to infraction.
Police reported on March 12 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused failed to appear in court. The accused was released on a $120 cash bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 7.
Michael Hughes, 40, of 125 Red Robin Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 12 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, risk of injury to child and failure to drive in proper lane.
Police reported on March 12 at 6:14 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle strike a utility pole on Maple Hill Street. Police reported the officer immediately noticed that the accused appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Police reported further investigation showed that the operator was transporting an infant and was found to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 14.
Isolete Sameiro Moreno, 70, of 318 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged March 13 with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on March 13 at approximately 6:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to an address in Naugatuck on report of a domestic where the parties were arguing and separated. Upon arrival, police reported, it was determined the accused became involved in an argument with the victim where they were engaged in a push-pull match over a broom. Police reported the accused has stated they would kill the victim. Police reported the accused also struck the car with the broom. The accused was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 15.
Jason M. Paplauskas, 46, of 14 Quaker Ridge Road, Sherman, was charged March 14 with illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle.
Police reported on March 13 at 11:57 p.m. officers conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street near the Mobile gas station. Police reported the accused was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Through investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of a hatchet and an electronic stun gun. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court located on April 28.
Gregg Dojnia, 32, of 94 Irving St., Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, improper rear/marker lamps and failure to keep right.
Police reported on March 14 at approximately 1:31 a.m. a motor vehicle investigation was initiated on Spencer Street for erratic driving. Based on the investigation, police reported, it was determined that the operator did not having the tail lamps illuminated, failed to keep right, and was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released to appear at the Waterbury Superior Court on April 29.
Crystal Marie Rodriguez, 34, of 20 Meadow Court, Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, illegal operating or motor vehicle under suspension, operating/towing unregistered motor vehicle, failure to drive in proper lane, illegal operation of motor vehicle without minim insurance and improper use of marker, license or registration.
Police reported on March 14 at 5:20 a.m. officers were dispatched to the area of Meadow Street for a two-car motor vehicle accident. Through the officers’ investigation, police reported, it was found the accused’s vehicle struck the rear and left side of the victim’s parked vehicle. Police reported the accused and victim were both on scene at the time of police response. Police reported the officer immediately noticed the accused appeared to be under the influence. Police reported further investigation showed that the operator was found under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 29.
Andrew Corcoran, 40, of 158 Applewood Lane, Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with reckless driving, illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and operating motor vehicle while using a hand-held mobile telephone.
Police reported on March 14 at approximately 1:33 p.m. officers responded to a one-car accident, where the vehicle had struck a tree on Osborn Road. During the investigation, police reported, officers found that the accused was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 15.
Michelle Conigliaro, 38, of 246 Spring St. Apt. 4, Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on March 14 at approximately 6:45 p.m. police were called to an address in Naugatuck on report of the accused being intoxicated and acting out of control. Upon officers’ arrival, police reported, contact was made with the accused who had since walked away from the residence. Through further investigation, police reported, it was determined the accused and the victim were engaged in an argument where the accused bit the victim. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 15.
Robert R. Millette, 49, of 90 Cliff St., Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.
Police reported on March 14 at approximately 9:35 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Arch Street. Through the course of the investigation, police reported, the accused was determined to be in possession of approximately 1 ounce of marijuana. The accused was issued a misdemeanor summons, released on a promise to appear in the field and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 14.
