Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Sabrina Marie Starkey, 38, of 219 Oak St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 1 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on Oct. 1 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident in which the accused was in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 4.

Michael Saladino, 61, of 196 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 1 with two counts of violation of probation.

Police reported the accused was arrested on active PRAWN warrants. The accused was released on bonds totaling $20,000 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2 and Bridgeport Superior Court on Nov. 1.

Andrew Finlay, 56, of 30 Fairfield Court, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 2 with violation of state building code penalty.

Police reported on Oct. 2 the accused was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Housing Court on Oct. 28.

Brandon Rosa, 24, of 1268 East Main St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 2 with violation of probation and two counts of interfering with an officer/resisting.

Police reported on Oct. 2 the accused was arrested on a probation violation. Police reported the accused was also arrested for an active warrant. The accused was held on bonds totaling $105,000 and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 5.

Henry Key, 55, 103 East Farm St. 1Fl., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 3 with sixth-degree larceny, possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis and interfering with an officer/resisting.

Police reported on Oct. 3 members of the Naugatuck Police Department responded to 1100 New Haven Road, Walmart, for a suspected shoplifting. Through the course of the investigation, police reported, the officers developed probable cause and the accused was arrested. The accused was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 2.

Damon Andrew Gallant, 33, of 66 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 4 with violation of restraining order.

Police reported on Oct. 4 at approximately 2 p.m. officers were dispatched to Carroll Street for a male party turning himself in on a violation of restraining order warrant. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in
Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 6.

Erickson Amparo, 21, of 79 Ridge Road Apt. 1, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 4 with theft of plates/inserts.

Police reported on Oct. 4 members of the Naugatuck Police Department were dispatched to a two-car motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was discovered that the accused was in possession of a stolen registration plate. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 12.

Robert Lantz, 44, of 16 1/2 Celentano Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 4 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Oct. 4 at 5:50 p.m. officers were dispatched to Tuck’s Tavern, 876 Rubber Ave., for a complaint. While investigating the complaint, police rpeorted, the accused was spoken to after being seen in his vehicle. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, it was found that the accused appeared to be under the influence. Further investigation showed that the operator was found under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was later released on a $500 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 3.

Xavier Alexander Roldan, 22, of 139 Rethal St., Southington, was charged Oct. 4 with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of second-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, two counts of risk of injury to a child, two counts of sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, two counts of sale of certain illegal drugs, possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis, two counts of conspiracy to commit sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit risk of injury to child, reckless driving and operating motor vehicle without a license.

Elizabeth Vega, 35, of 26 Evening Star Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 5 with two counts of risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Oct. 5 the accused turned herself in on an active arrest warrant stemming from an incident on Sept. 21, 2020, where she left her 7- and 8-year-old children home from school unattended while she was at work. The accused was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 7.

Raffaelo J. Liguori, 46, of 15 Maple Terrace, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 5 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 5 at 2:30 p.m. the accused surrendered to Naugatuck Police Department for an active arrest warrant issued on Aug. 14, 2020, stemming from a shoplifting complaint at the Rubber Avenue Stop & Shop. Police reported the accused attempted to leave the store without paying for approximately $387.04 worth of meat and seafood. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 14.

Orlando Ramos, 41, of 55 Lantern Park Drive Apt. 4, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 5 with interfering with an officer/resisting, engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, improper use of maker, license or registration, failure to obey stop sign and illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension.

Police reported on Oct. 5 officers arrested the accused on an active warrant for multiple motor vehicle charges for an incident on or about July 18, 2020, where the accused fled from a motor vehicle stop. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 6.

Jonathan Espada-Santiago, 28, of 46 Carrol St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 5 with risk of injury to child, two counts of first-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Oct. 5 the accused was arrested on an active domestic arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was issued due to a domestic incident that occurred on July 24, 2020, where the accused damaged a vehicle with a gulf club. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 6.

Andrea Broadnax, 47, of 833 Rubber Ave. Apt. B14, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 6 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 6 the accused turned herself in to Naugatuck police on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant stemmed from a domestic incident in which the accused elbowed the victim causing minor injury. The accused was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 7.

Alliyah Alecia Scott, 19, of 461 Spring St. Apt. 4D, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 8 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 8 at 12:30 p.m. the accused responded to the Naugatuck Police Department to turn herself in on an active arrest warrant. The accused was released on a court-set $2,000 cash surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 9.

Ana Carneiro, 61, of 48 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 8 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Oct. 8 officers responded to an address in Naugatuck on report of a harassment complaint with a protective order. Through investigation, police reported, it was determined the accused had followed the victim while trying to gather items and do some work at his house. Police reported the accused screamed profanities at the victim and tried to prevent him from entering his garage where the victim’s belongings are. Bond was set at $15,000 and the accused was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 9.

Victor Manuel Cruz, 47, of 101 Ridge Road Apt. 13, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 9 with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer/resisting.

Police reported on Oct. 9 at approximately 12:14 p.m. officers were dispatched after a witness observed a male and female in a dispute in a parking lot on Bridge Street. Police reported it was reported the male struck the female and began walking away. Police reported the female began to then drive away in a vehicle. Police reported the accused was located walking away upon arrival and fled on foot. Police reported the accused was apprehended a short time later. The accused was held on a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Oct. 13.

Craig Bartimole, 47, of 55 Porter Ave. Apt. 1A, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 9 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Oct. 9 at 5:20 p.m. officers responded to a domestic dispute. As a result of the altercation, police reported, the victim sustained a minor injury to their cheek. Police reported the victim did not need medical attention. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 13.

Lina Vanepps, 51, of 28 Beacon Wood Court, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 9 with third-degree assault, violation of protective order and two counts second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 9 at approximately 7:20 p.m. members of the Naugatuck Police Department were dispatched to an address in Naugatuck for a suspected domestic violence incident. After further investigation, police reported, it became known that the accused hit the victim with a garden rake and violated their protective order. After further investigation, police reported, it became known that the accused had active PRAWN warrants. The accused was held on bonds totaling $12,000 and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 13.

Angel Fabian Ramon-Odonez, 35, of 103 Holly St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 10 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Oct. 10 at 2:14 a.m. officers observed a vehicle parked on the side of Union City Road running with a male in the operator seat who appeared to be slumped over and passed out. Through investigation, police reported, it was discovered the accused was operating while under the influence. The accused was released after posting a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 12.

Lisa Lawton, 61, of 264 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 11 with second-degree harassment and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Oct. 11 at approximately 12:09 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a harassment complaint. Police reported the accused was previously advised not to contact the victim in any manner. Police reported the accused continued contacting the complainant with harassing text messages. Police reported the accused then began screaming outside causing a further disturbance. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 18.
