Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Linda Lee Butler, 58, of 19 Hubbell Road, Beacon Falls, was charged July 24 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 24 at 3:43 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $183.35 worth of merchandise and attempt to exit the store without paying for items. The accused was given a summons with a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 3.

Shamara N. Clarke, 30, of 137 High Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 24 with sixth-degree larceny and failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 7:33 p.m. officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported the accused was observed on camera switching prices on merchandise and failing to ring up merchandise at a self-checkout register. Police reported the total amount of merchandise taken was $142.14. Once the accused exited the store, police reported, the accused was stopped by store security. Police reported the accused was determined to have an active PRAWN warrant. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court Sept. 2.

Jacob Hafford, 40, of 78 Woodland Ridge, Meriden, was charged July 24 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (2nd offense), illegal operation of motor vehicle without ignition device, illegal operation of motor vehicle without minimum insurance, operating/towing unregistered motor vehicle and improper use of marker, registration or license.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 8:19 p.m. officers conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road in front of the Comfort Inn Hotel. Police reported the accused was found to be operating an unregistered motor vehicle without insurance and misusing registration plates. Through further investigation, police reported, the accused was also found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 10.

Julie A. Berry, 45, of 118 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged July 25 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 12:53 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of South Main Street for an improper turn. Police reported the officer immediately noticed that the accused appeared to be impaired. Police reported further investigation showed the operator was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond to appear in Waterbury
Superior Court on Aug. 12.

Lisa Giroux, 47, of 24 Maplewood St., Waterbury, was charged July 25 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 25 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, for shoplifting complaint. Police reported loss prevention advised they observed the accused illegally conceal $291.02 worth of merchandise and attempt to exit the store without paying for the items. The accused was issued a summons and released on a promise to appear at Waterbury Superior Court Sept. 3.

Lopez Arturo Leandry, 44, of 2 North Main St. Apt. 3L, Waterbury, was charged July 25 with second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on May 15, 2020, the Naugatuck Police Department received a vandalism complaint that occurred on North Main Street. Police reported the complainant reported that two of her vehicle’s tires were slashed. During investigative efforts, police reported, a suspect was developed and a warrant was filed for the arrest of the accused. On July 25, police reported, the accused was taken into custody by the Waterbury Police Department for unrelated charges. The accused was then taken into Naugatuck Police Department’s custody. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 26.

Andre Miguel Jones, 26, of 342 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, was charged July 26 with illegal possession of narcotic.

Police reported on July 26 at 5:08 p.m. officers conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Lantern Park Drive. During the investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of controlled substances. The accused was released at the scene on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 10.

Ashley D. James, 30, of 82 Greenwood St., Naugatuck, was charged July 28 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 28 at approximately 1:07 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim and a witness, the accused struck the victim multiple times. The accused was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 28.

Abdurraheem C. Holloway, 37, of 317 Ely Ave., Norwalk, was charged July 28 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 28 at approximately 1:07 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused tried to punch the victim in the face. The accused was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 28.

Precious Williams, 32, of 262 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged July 28 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 28 at approximately 6 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused was highly intoxicated and became involved in an argument with the victims that escalated. Police reported the accused became physical when, according to the victims and a witness, the accused struck and bite the victims multiple times while in the presence of juveniles. The accused was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 29.

Jermaine Rockhead, 33, of 124 Curtiss St. Apt. 1, Naugatuck, was charged July 28 with failure to pay weekly wage.

Police reported on July 28 the accused was arrested on an arrest warrant held by Department of Labor. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 9.

Aldo Persichilli, 51, of 401 Liberty St., Springfield, Mass., was charged July 29 with two counts of violation of probation.

Police reported on July 29 the accused turned himself in on violation of probation arrest warrants. The accused was held on surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 29.

Emanuel Dejesus Pineda, 22, of 827 May St., Naugatuck, was charged July 30 with violation of protective order, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on July 30 officers were dispatched to a verbal dispute. During the investigation, police reported, it was found the accused had a warrant for his arrest. Police reported the warrant was issued due to the accused violating a protective order and harassing the victim. The accused was released on a $20,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 31.

Jeremy Vanderbilt Thompson, 23, of 64 Carroll St. Apt. 3, Naugatuck, was charged July 31 with violation of protective order and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 31 officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During the incident, police reported, both subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when the accused grabbed the victim’s hair. Police reported the accused was also in violation of a protective order. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 3.

Lakeisha Marie Reed, 29, of 126 Harvard St., Springfield, Mass., was charged July 31 with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on July 31 the accused turned herself in for a domestic arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 3.

Brandon Goslin, 21, of 284 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged July 31 with second-degree assault.

Police reported on July 31 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused assaulted another male at the gazebo in downtown Naugatuck on July 17, 2020. The accused was released on a $15,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 9.

Conner J. Larkin, 29, of 4 Hospital Ave., Danbury, was charged July 31 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on July 31 at approximately 7:18 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street on a suspicious motor vehicle complaint. Police reported further investigation showed that the operator was found operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 3.

Edilberto Diaz-Gomez, 36, of 5 Harvest Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 1 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 1 officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During the incident, police reported, both subjects stated they became involved in an argument where the accused was throwing property and intimidating the victim, who suffered a minor abrasion during the incident. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 1.

Sean Finnegan, 33, of 125 Middle St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 1 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 1 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $50,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 3.

Amanda Rose Tribble, 21, of 549 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 2 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Aug. 2 officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During the incident, police reported, both subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when the accused struck the victim. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 3.

Patrick Walsh, 56, of 38 Neuman St. Apt. 1, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 2 with reckless driving, failure to drive in proper lane, second-degree threatening, interfering with an officer/resisting and illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
