The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

TIFFANY JOHNSON, 20, of 315 Willow St., Naugatuck, was charged July 13 with fifth-degree larceny, credit card theft, illegal use of credit card, receipt of money/goods/services by illegal credit card use and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 10:02 a.m. Johnson was arrested on two active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a larceny complaint made on Sept. 23, 2013 at the YMCA. Police reported Johnson stole the victim’s purse containing an iPhone, check book, debit card and various items. Police reported Johnson used the victim’s debit card to make purchases at a restaurant, Mobil gas station, Ocean State Job Lot and Stop and Shop. Johnson was given a court date of July 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

The other warrant was for a larceny of a purse reported on Nov. 6, 2013 from the Naugatuck High School. Police reported Johnson stole the victim’s purse containing a LG cellular phone, valued at $120. Johnson was given a court date of July 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

BRAD L. HASSINGER, 59, of 59 Transit St., Waterbury, was charged July 13 with sixth-degree larceny and second-degree violating conditions of release.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Hassinger was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on Jan. 28, 2015 at Stop & Shop. Police reported Hassinger stole packs of Red Bull valued at $73.98. Hassinger was ordered to stay out of all Stop & Shop locations as a condition of a previous release, police reported. This incident was found to be in violation of the order. Hassinger was given a court date of July 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

KYLE VAITUZIS, 25, of 20 Washington St., Naugatuck, was charged July 13 with violation of probation.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 3:50 p.m. Vaituzis was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Vaituzis was given a court date of July 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $75,000 surety bond.

RICHARD LORD, 50, of 19 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged July 13 with interfering with an officer, three counts of first-degree failure to appear and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 13 officers received information that Lord, who was wanted on active arrest warrants, was in the area of Advanced Auto, Rubber Avenue. Upon the officer’s arrival he located Lord, who ran from the officer, police reported. Lord was located in a wooded area near Elm Street. Lord was given a court date of July 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 5:43 p.m. Lord was arrested on active arrest warrants. Lord was given a court date of July 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set cash bond.

MICHAEL CORSO, 26, of 32 Vermont Ave., Southington, was charged July 14 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 14 at approximately 9:38 a.m. Corso turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Corso was given a court date of July 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

DIMITRI GIBSON, 21, of 34 Ridgeland Drive, Naugatuck, was charged July 14 with illegal sale of controlled substance by non-drug-dependent person.

Police reported on July 14 at approximately 12:40 p.m. Gibson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic investigation during the month of February 2015. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gibson sold prescription medication. Gibson was given a court date of July 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

LUIS ALBERTO ESTEVES, 34, of 168 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged July 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 15 at approximately 1:41 a.m. Esteves was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Esteves was given a court date of July 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $400 cash bond.

VANESSA CORDOVANO, 46, of 489 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged July 15 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 15 at approximately 3:25 a.m. officers responded to 489 Spring St. Apt. B for a disturbance between acquaintances. During an argument, police reported, Cordovano broke a vase and two windows to a back door. Cordovano was given a court date of July 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DAVID S. MURPHY, 34, of 6 Frederick St., Waterbury, was charged July 15 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 15 at approximately 4:23 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Murphy stole two LG wireless headsets valued at $154.72. Murphy was given a court date of July 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

SANDRA HAMEL, 56, of 102 Worcester Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 17 with driving under the influence.

THOMAS BRUZIK, 61, of 48 High St., Naugatuck, was charged July 17 with breach of peace.

Police reported on July 17 officers responded to Church Street for a suspicious person. Police reported Bruzik was intoxicated and swearing at juveniles that were in the area on the town Green. Bruzik was given a court date of July 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

VINCENT DIGIOVANNI, 37, of 239 Newridge Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 17 with second-degree failure to appear.

MARGARITA ESTUDILLO, 56, of 22 Madera Drive, Waterbury, was charged July 17 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on July 17 Estudillo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Estudillo was given a court date of July 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $211 cash bond.

AGOSTINHO GOMES, 46, of 128 City Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with driving under the influence, possession of controlled substance and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on July 18 at approximately 12:34 an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gomes was operating under the influence of alcohol. Gomes was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

After the officer stopped Gomes, police reported, he got off his motorcycle and ran into a nearby business. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gomes attempted to hide narcotics in the business. Gomes was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

TAYLOR CONANT, 21, of 37 Lilly St., Waterbury, was charged July 18 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 18 at approximately 2 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. Police reported Conant was traveling at a high rate of speed. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Conant was operating under the influence of alcohol. She was given a court date of July 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

AGUITANIA ILLAS, 27, of 551 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 18 at approximately 3:12 a.m. officers responded to 191 Spring St. for a domestic disturbance between sisters. During an argument, police reported, Illas grabbed the victim by her neck. Illas was given a court date of July 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JUSTIN PARLOW, 24, of 191 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with interfering with an officer

Police reported on July 18 at approximately 3:12 a.m. officers responded to 191 Spring St. for a domestic disturbance between sisters. While the officers were on scene, police reported, Parlow became aggressive with the officers. Parlow yelled profanities at the officers, police reported. When being placed under arrest he remained tense and repeatedly pulled his hands away from the officer, police reported. Parlow was given a court date of July 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

KAILEE COSTELLO, 26, of 933 Rubber Ave. 1H, Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct and driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 18 officers responded to 933 Rubber Ave. 1H for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, both parties were involved in a physical altercation. Costello was given a court date of July 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Police reported Costello was leaving the scene in her vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Costello was operating under the influence of alcohol. Costello was given a court date of July 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

STEVEN BOUTOT, 32, of 933 Rubber Ave. 1H, Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on July 18 officers responded to 933 Rubber Ave. 1H for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, both parties were involved in a physical altercation. Boutot was given a court date of July 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DAVE MELROSE, 50, of 174 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer, third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, fifth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on July 18 an officer responded to 14 Lewis Circle for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Melrose was arguing with the victim while he was driving. During the argument, police reported, Melrose punched the victim. He later broke the victim’s cell phone and threatened to further harm her, police reported. Melrose was given a court date of July 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $75,000 surety bond.

BROOKE FORSMAN, 18, of 100 Mark Lane, Waterbury, was charged July 19 with breach of peace, risk of injury to child and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on July 19 at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers responded to 95 Spring St. #2 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Forsman pushed the victim and broke a laptop. The incident occurred in the presence of children, police reported. Forsman was given a court date of July 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT HARROLD, 68, of 39 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 20 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 20 at approximately 8:18 p.m. officers responded to 38 Horton Hill Road 5G for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Harrold threatened to harm the victim. Harrold was given a court date of July 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.
