The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

JADE BARNETT, 24, of 41 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged July 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 6 at approximately 5:20 p.m. Barnett was arrested on a warrant during a motor vehicle investigation. Barnett was given a court date of July 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $1,000 cash bond.

KELLY BURBANK, 34, of 99-8 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 7 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on July 7 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Burbank turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order reported on June 26, 2015. Police reported Burbank contacted the victim, which was in violation of the order. Burbank was given a court date of July 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

ANTHONY CORBO, 28, of 37 Cornelius Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 7 with first-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to child, third-degree assault, assaulting public safety/emergency personnel, evading responsibility motor vehicle.

SKYLAR SCHOPPENHAUER, 21, of 16 Williams Drive, Prospect, was charged July 7 with driving under the influence.

ALEXANDER ONESCHUK, 68, of 1057 Andrew Mountain Raod, Naugatuck, was charged July 7 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 7 at approximately 8:45 a.m. Oneschuk turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Oneschuk was given a court date of July 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $430 cash bond.

JAMES LUMPKIN, 20, of 40 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged July 7 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 7 at approximately 11:23 a.m. officers responded to 40 Lewis Circle for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, Lumpkin pushed the victim out of the residence and locked the door. Lumpkin was given a court date of July 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MICHELE VASSAK, 49, of 27 Bradley St., Naugatuck, was charged July 7 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 7 at approximately 4:29 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Vassak was operating under the influence of alcohol. Vassak was given a court date of July 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

SEANA MALONE, 35, of 126 Meriden Road, Waterbury, was charged July 10 with third-degree identity theft, illegal use of credit card, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree false statement.

Police reported on July 10 at approximately 9:56 p.m. Malone was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Dec. 19. Police reported Malone stole the victim’s purse at Walmart. Malone used the victim’s credit card to fraudulently make purchases at several locations in Waterbury, police reported. Malone was given a court date of July 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

MAURO JARA, 21, of 63 Laurel St., Waterbury, was charged July 11 with breach of peace.

BENJAMIN DIAZ, 23, of 41 Coe Road, Wolcott, was charged July 11 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 11 at approximately 1:32 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Diaz was operating under the influence of alcohol. Diaz was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

JONATHON BRELSFORD, 23, of 11 Fern St., Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 12 at approximately 1:01 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Exit 26 route 8 South. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Brelsford was operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Brelsford was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOHN LOVAR JR., 28, of 1611 Stratford Ave., Bridgeport, was charged July 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 12 at approximately 1:50 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Lovar was operating under the influence of alcohol. Lovar was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

FRANK MORAIN, 26, of 1 Schmitz Ave., Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with use of motor vehicle without permission and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 12 at approximately 6:43 p.m. an officer responded to Schmitz Avenue for a stolen motor vehicle. Police reported Morain took the victim’s car without permission. Morain is a family member to the victim was located near the home with the vehicle, police reported. Morain was given a court date of July 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Morain was also wanted on an active arrest warrant. Morain was given a court date of July 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.
