The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

JAMES MATTICE, 30, of 50 Laclair Court, Naugatuck, was charged April 11 with possession of narcotics: heroin, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance: non-narcotic, possession of controlled substance: anabolic steroid and non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or daycare.

MATTHEW J. KING, 39, of 159 Johnson St., Naugatuck, was charged April 12 with driving under the influence.

ANTHONY RE, 18, of 16 Bird Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 13 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation.

Police reported on April 13 at approximately 3:31 p.m. officers responded to 16 Bird Road for domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Re slapped his girlfriend and grabbed her by her neck. Re was given a court date of April 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

JAZZMIN MOORE, 18, of 284 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged April 13 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 13 at approximately 3:31 p.m. officers responded to 16 Bird Road for domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Moore threw items in the home and damaged an XBox gaming system. Re slapped Moore and grabbed her by her neck. Moore was given a court date of April 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

VICTOR JORDAN, 25, of 126 Millville Ave., Bridgeport, was charged April 13 with driving under the influence and reckless driving.

KYMBER PEREZ, 42, of 270 Pine St., Waterbury, was charged April 13 with first-degree failure to appear and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 13 Perez was arrested on active arrest warrants. Perez was given a court date of April 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a surety bond.

WALTER RIVERO, 40, of 14 Tolles Square, Naugatuck, was charged April 14 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 13 at approximately 2:01 a.m. officers responded to 14 Tolles Square for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument outside the home, police reported, Rivero threw the victim’s phone and pocketbook. Rivero was given a court date of April 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

AUDREY FLYNN, 18, of 27 Rockwood Ave., Ansonia, was charged April 14 with driving under the influence and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 14 at approximately 1:57 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Flynn was operating under the influence of alcohol. Flynn was given a court date of April 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Police reported on April 14 at approximately 1:57 a.m. an officer investigated a larceny from Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. Police reported Flynn and another suspect stole $9.53 worth of merchandise. Ali was given a court date of April 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

SUSCELLA ALI, 19, of, 70 Benz St., Ansonia, was charged April 14 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 14 at approximately 1:57 a.m. an officer investigated a larceny from Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. Police reported Ali and another suspect stole $9.53 worth of merchandise. Ali was given a court date of April 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JASEN HANSON, 34, of 49 Anderson St. 1A, Naugatuck, was charged April 14 with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, risk of injury to child and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on April 14 officers responded to 49 Anderson St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Hanson grabbed the victim by her neck. The victim’s child was present for the altercation, police reported. Hanson was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT DODSON, 56, of 342 Sawgrass Drive, Valdosta, was charged April 14 with violation of probation.

Police reported on April 14 at approximately 9:51 p.m. Dodson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Dodson was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

SEAN M. PEREIRA, 33, of 179 Meadow Lark Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 14 at approximately 11:36 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Pereira was operating under the influence of alcohol. Pereira was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

ANTHONY ROSA, 25, of 46 Camp St., Waterbury, was charged April 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 15 at approximately 7:30 a.m. Rosa turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Rosa was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $400 court-set cash bond.

TYISH SMITH, 44, of 214 North Main St., Waterbury, was charged April 15 with illegal possession of narcotic, non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or daycare, possession with intent to sell and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on April 15 at approximately 10:38 a.m. officers responded to 214 North Main St. to assist the fire department. The fire department responded to a smoke alarm sounding and smoke coming from apartment 3-F, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, 4.5 grams of heroin was found in the Smith’s apartment. Smith was given a court date of April 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $250,000 surety bond.

SHOVONA DUKES, 32, of 152 Chestnut Ave., Waterbury, was charged April 15 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 15 at approximately 8:32 p.m. Dukes turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Dukes was given a court date of April 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set bond.

BRIAN WALKER, 44, of 39 Waterbury Road, Prospect, was charged April 15 with breach of peace and second-degree threatening.

Police reported on April 15 at approximately 8:16 p.m. officers responded to 50 Rado Drive for a threatening complaint. Walker, a former boyfriend, sent threatening text messages to the victim, police reported. Police reported Walker arrived at the victim’s place of work and began to yell at her. Walker was given a court date of April 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.
