The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

DWAYNE BOYD, 51, of 690 Park St., Hartford, was charged March 30 with third-degree forgery and fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 30 at approximately 11:46 a.m. Boyd was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a fraudulent check complaint made on Sept. 4, 2014. Police reported Boyd cashed a fraudulent check at Ion Bank in Naugatuck. Boyd was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

MICHAEL RUGGIERO, 36, of 12 Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged March 30 with violation of probation.

Police reported on March 30 Ruggiero was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Ruggiero was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

DAVID MCCULLOCH, 35, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 30 with violation of probation.

Police reported on March 30 McCulloch was arrested on an active arrest warrant. McCulloch was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

ERIKA APONTE, 33, of 46 Jewelry St., Waterbury, was charged March 30 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 30 at approximately 6:53 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Aponte stole comforter set, sheets, diapers and children’s clothing worth $381.87. Aponte was given a court date of April 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CARLOS FILIPE PASCOAL, 31, of 560 North Church St., Naugatuck, was charged March 30 with violation of probation.

Police reported on March 30 Pascoal was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Pascoal was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $75,000 surety bond.

BAAITH HASAN, 36, of 176 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged March 31 with driving under the influence, weapons in vehicles, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and first-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on March 31 at approximately 12:28 a.m. officers responded to Spencer Street for a suspicious person complaint. The caller stated there was a female banging on the front door, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the suspicious person was a victim of a domestic disturbance with her roommate. During an argument, police reported, Hasan hit the victim and took her phone when she attempted to call 911. Hasan also restrained the victim and held her on the floor, police reported. Hasan was found in his vehicle a short time later. He was found to be in possession of a black pellet handgun, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hasan was operating under the influence of alcohol. Hasan was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a surety bond.

ERIC PEIL, 29, of 30 Lee Road, Prospect, was charged March 31 with first-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace.
