The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

WILLIAM PEREZ-HERNANDEZ, 27, of 45 Burr Road, Bridgeport, was charged Dec. 22 with first-degree unlawful restraint, disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening and first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Dec. 22 at approximately 10:46 p.m. officers responded to 162 Maple St. for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Perez-Hernandez entered the home without permission. During an argument, police reported, put his hands around the victim’s neck and pushed her against appliances. During the altercation, police reported, Perez-Hernandez threatened to further harm the victim. Perez-Hernandez was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

DONAT POIRIER, 39, of 201 Chipman St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 23 with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 3 p.m. Poirier turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary reported on Oct. 16, 2014. Police reported Poirier entered the victim’s home, who was known to him, and stole $1,000. Poirier was given a court date of Jan. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

ANDRE GENEST, 25, 8 Avon St., Ansonia, was charged Dec. 23 with two counts each of illegal sale of controlled substance by non-drug-dependent person and distribution of controlled substances within 1,500 feet of a school.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 4:20 p.m. Genest was arrested on two active arrest warrants. The warrants were for a narcotic investigation conducted during the month of August 2014. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Genest sold 2 grams and 1.3 grams of heroin on separate occasions. Genest was given a court date of Dec. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a total court-set $200,000 surety bond.

FRANCISCO MADERA, 33, of 716 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 4:22 p.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Motor Lodge for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Madera broke items in the room. Madera was given a court date of Dec. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

CAITLYN ANDREW, 31, of 75 City Brook Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 11:56 p.m. Andrew was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Derby. Andrew was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Derby Superior Court and released on a court set $500 surety bond.

ERIK SMALL, 41, of 150 1st Ave., West Haven, was charged Dec. 26 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Dec. 26 at approximately 8:04 p.m. Small turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Small was given a court date of Jan. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 court-set surety bond.

EDDIE CRUZ, 36, of 31 Wolcott St., Torrington, was charged Dec. 27 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Dec. 27 at approximately 8:45 a.m. Cruz was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Cruz was given a court date of Dec. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 court-set surety bond.

YVONNE DUNN, 44, of 33 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 27 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 27 at approximately 3:40 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Rubber Avenue for a larceny complaint. Police reported Dunn stole the victim’s wallet containing $240. Dunn was given a court date of Jan. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

LUIS MORALES-VEGA, 26, of 34 N. Walnut St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 27 with driving under the influence, failure to obey control signal and operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked.

Police reported on Dec. 27 at approximately 9:24 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Morales-Vega was operating under the influence of alcohol. Morales-Vega was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ANN CHEPURNA, 55, of 87 Bunker Hill Road, Watertown, was charged Dec. 27 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 27 at approximately 10:54 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Chepurna stole $72.01 worth of merchandise. She was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
