The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

CATHY COTE, 49, of 753 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Dec. 5 with third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 7 p.m. Cote was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary reported on April 23, 2014. Police reported Cote entered the victim’s home, who is an acquaintance, and stole a flat screen TV, Canon printer, Bose stereo system, a microwave and other items from the home. Cote was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

CHRISTIAN MANOUSE, 18, of 8 Rough Wing Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree burglary.

Police reported on Dec. 5 Manouse was arrested on three active arrest warrant. One warrant was for a criminal mischief complaint made on Aug. 11, 2014. Police reported Manouse used a marker to write on property located at the Union City Little League Baseball Field. The second warrant was for a criminal mischief complaint made on July 20, 2104. Police reported Manouse used a marker to write on property located at Church Street. The third warrant was burglary and criminal mischief complaint made on June 8, 2014. Police reported Manouse entered an unoccupied home and spray painted symbols on the refrigerator. Manouse was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a non-surety bond.

BILAL ALI, 28, of 330 Vernon Ave., Vernon, was charged Dec. 5 with issuing a bad check.

Police reported on Dec. 5 Ali was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a bad check complaint made on Nov. 17, 2014. Police reported Ali issued a check to the victim in the amount of $2.857.87. The check was returned for insufficient funds, police reported. Ali was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

LOUIS BONCEK II, 52, of 9 Mohawk Ave., Derby, was charged Dec. 5 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 5:08 p.m. Boncek turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Boncek was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $527 cash bond.

MICHAEL SALADINO, 55, of 1292 Howard Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Dec. 5 with interfering with an emergency call and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 10:13 p.m. officers responded to 196 High St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Saladino damaged a glass window and a wall in the home. When the victim called 911 he attempted to grab the phone from the victim, police reported. Saladino was given a court date of Dec. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

ALEC BERMUDEZ, 18, of 850 Grand Ave., New Haven, was charged Dec. 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 11:35 p.m. Bermudez turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Bermudez was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

JESIE ROJAS, 18, of 159 Red Robin Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 6 with second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy at second- degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Rojas was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a vandalism complaint made on Nov. 22, 2014. Police reported Rojas smeared food on the vehicle and scratched markings into the vehicle. Rojas was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

NORMAN HOBBS, 52, of 59 Harris Circle, Waterbury, was charged Dec. 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 12:11 p.m. Hobbs turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Hobbs was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

DANIEL J. COUGHLIN, 27, of 1145 Salvia St., Stratford, was charged Dec. 6 with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked, failure to drive at reasonable distance and evading responsibility motor vehicle.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 5:11 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on New Haven Road by Candee Road. Police reported Coughlin struck a stopped vehicle and then drove away from the scene. Coughlin was located on an adjacent road, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Coughlin was operating under the influence of alcohol. Coughlin was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

WILLIAM B. FOWLER, 50, of 6 Maria Hotchkiss Road, Prospect, was charged Dec. 6 with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle when registration or license is refused, suspended or revoked, insurance coverage fails minimum requirements and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 6:33 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Great Hill Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Fowler was operating under the influence of alcohol. Fowler was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JUSTINE GETTIG, 27, of 37 Cornelius Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 7 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 11:40 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Gettig stole $56.79 worth of shampoos, hair bands, etc. Gettig was given a court date of Dec. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.
