The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MARK HINMAN, 28, of 52 Merrimac St., Oakville, was charged Oct. 26 with theft of credit card, illegal use of credit card, sixth-degree larceny, third-degree identity theft and third-degree forgery.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 9:07 a.m. Hinman was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on May 27, 2015. Police reported Hinman found the victim’s credit card and used the card make fraudulent purchases. Hinman made three purchases of food and cigarettes without the victim’s authorization or knowledge, police reported. Hinman was given a court date of Nov. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

STEPHANIE SOLTIS, 49, of 145 Quinn St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Oct. 26 Soltis was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Sept. 18, 2015. During the investigation, police reported, over a custody dispute Soltis made statements to a juvenile that she was going to harm herself. Soltis was given a court date of Oct. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,500 surety bond.

GARY HELM, 45, of 51 E. Broadway, Milford, was charged Oct. 26 with driving under the influence and drinking while operating a motor vehicle.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 4:29 p.m. an officer investigated a suspicious motor vehicle on Cross Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Helm was operating under the influence of alcohol. Helm was given a court date of Nov. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

BARRY ALBAUGH, 40, of 81 Golden Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with breach of peace, third-degree assault, risk of injury to child, threatening, interfering with an officer and assaulting public safety/emergency personnel.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 6:18 p.m. officers responded to 150 Ward St. for an assault. Prior to the officers’ arrival Albaugh drove from the area, police reported. Albaugh’s vehicle was located in the area of Elm St and officers attempted to stop the vehicle, police reported. Albaugh refused to stop and continued to drive to Golden Hill Street, where he parked and ran from his vehicle, police reported. Officers stopped Albaugh from entering a home and Albaugh kicked one of the officers, police reported. Albaugh was then taken into custody. Officers spoke to the complainants on Ward street who stated Albaugh was traveling on Ward Street at a high rate of speed. Multiple neighbors yelled to Albaugh to slow down, police reported. Albaugh stopped his vehicle and ran at the victim, police reported. Albaugh punched and kicked the victim. When Albaugh walked back to his vehicle he made threats of retrieving a gun and harming the victim and witnesses, police reported. Albaugh was given a court date of Oct. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $100,000 surety bond.

JOSHUA W. YOUNG, 35, of 52 Little River Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 27 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 27 at approximately 3:37 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Young stole $54.83 worth of merchandise from the store, police reported. Young was given a court date of Nov. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

HAAKEEM MITCHELL, 18, of 73-1 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 27 with breach of peace and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 27 at approximately 3:25 p.m. an officer responded to Cumberland Farms for a larceny complaint. Police reported Mitchell was observed by an employee concealing merchandise. When Mitchell was approached by the employee, police reported, Mitchell threatened to punch the employee. Mitchell was given a court date of Oct. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

MICHAEL CHANDLER, 53, of 79 Pleasant Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 30 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Oct. 30 at approximately 6:41 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Scott Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Chandler was operating under the influence of alcohol. Chandler was given a court date of Nov. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JOAO REBIMBAS, 38, of 51 Geraldine Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 30 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Oct. 30 at approximately 7:53 p.m. officers responded to Geraldine Drive for a disturbance. Police reported Rebimbas hreatened to harm the victim, who moved a tree that was cut down onto Rebimbas’ property. Rebimbas and the victim have an ongoing dispute, police reported. Rebimbas was given a court date of Oct. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

WILFRED NEDD, 45, of 66 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 30 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 30 at approximately 10:06 p.m. officers responded to 66 Prospect St. Apt. 6 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Princess Gregory slapped Nedd on the left side of his face. Nedd walked into the kitchen and took a kitchen knife and placed it his pocket, police reported. Gregory stated Nedd was walking towards her with the knife in his pocket when the officers arrived, police reported. Nedd was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

PRINCESS GREGORY, 49, of 66 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 30 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. She was charged Oct. 31 with second-degree violating conditions of release.

Police reported on Oct. 30 at approximately 10:06 p.m. officers responded to 66 Prospect St. Apt. 6 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Gregory slapped Wilfred Nedd on the left side of his face. Nedd walked into the kitchen and took a kitchen knife and placed it his pocket, police reported. Gregory stated Nedd was walking towards her with the knife in his pocket when the officers arrived, police reported. Gregory was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Police reported on Oct. 31 at approximately 3:10 p.m. officers responded to 66 Prospect St. Apt. 6 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. Gregory was found in the residence, which was in violation of a conditions of release, police reported. The conditions were put in place due to an earlier domestic disturbance resulting in an arrest. Gregory was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

BYRON VAUGHN JR., 29, of 206 Wildwood Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 31 with sixth-degree larceny, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Oct. 31 at approximately 2:30 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Vaughn stole $4.75 worth of merchandise. When officers arrived Vaughn gave a false name but was later properly identified by an ID card, police reported. Vaughn was given a court date of Nov. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

SEAN DAUBER, 44, of 114 Benedict St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 2 with second-degree unlawful restraint and breach of peace.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 11:21 a.m. Dauber was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Oct. 1, 2015. During an argument, police reported, Dauber grabbed the victim by her arms and held down on a chair. When the victim yelled for help Dauber ran from the area, police reported. Dauber was given a court date of Nov. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

JEROME ARMFIELD, 26, of 262 West Ivy, New Haven, was charged Nov. 2 with violation of restraining order.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 5:30 a.m. Armfield turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for violation of a restraining order reported on Oct. 10, 2015. Police reported Armfield called the victim three times, which violated the order. Armfield was given a court date of Nov. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.
