Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Pedro Martinez, 39, of 178 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged was charged July 18 with second-degree unlawful restraint, disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on July 18 Martinez turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance that occurred on July 10, 2018 at approximately 6:08 p.m. During an argument, police reported, Martinez grabbed the victim and dragged her. Martinez was given a court date of July 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

Pamela Hyde, 51, of 24 Cold Spring Circle, Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 18 at approximately 7:14 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hyde was operating under the influence of alcohol. Hyde was given a court date of Aug. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Patricia Santamaria, 48, of 80 manners Ave., Naugatuck, was charged July 18 with violation of probation.

Police reported on July 18 at approximately 9:05 p.m. Santamaria was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Santamaria was given a court date of Aug. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Ryan K. Feighery, 28, of 114 Benedict St., Waterbury, was charged July 19 with sixth-degree larceny and three counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported Feighery was observed shoplifting by Walmart loss prevention. Police reported Feighery was subsequently taken into custody by police after fleeing the store on foot. During the course of the investigation, police reported, it was also determined that Feighery had outstanding PRAWN (re-arrest) warrants. Feighery was held on bond pending his appearance at Waterbury Superior Court.

Jovan W. Rose, 24, of 344 Gunntown Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 19 with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

Malik Tyrone Lewis, 22, of 92 Hamden Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 20 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 20 at approximately 7:02 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Lewis stole merchandise from the store. Lewis was given a court date of Aug. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Ryan Havican, 42, of no certain address, was charged July 21 with third-degree burglary, possession of burglar tools and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 21 at approximately 7:47 a.m. officers responded to a possible burglary at 66 Church Street. Police reported Havican was observed walking away from the building by the officers. Police reported Havican stole beer from the business’ beer cooler. The total amount of alcohol stolen was $196, police reported. Havican was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Lashia R. Thompson, 38, of 150 Manhan St., Waterbury, was charged July 21 with sixth-degree larceny, first-degree criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Thompson stole $65.23 worth of merchandise by under ringing at a self-checkout register. During the investigation, police reported, Thompson was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Thompson was given a court date of Aug. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Clinton O. Rock, 41, of 61 Standish St., Bridgeport, was charged July 22 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 22 at 12:05 p.m. Rock was arrested on the above listed charges. Rock was given a court date of Aug. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Antonio Martinez Torres, 41, of an unknown address, was charged July 22 with sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on July 22 at approximately 6:38 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Torres stole a wallet from the victim’s purse, which was in a carriage. During the investigation, police reported, Torres was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Torres was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

Ramon Lawrence Sierra, 25, of 62 Ferndale Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 22 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on July 22 at approximately 5 p.m. officers responded to domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Sierra grabbed the victim. Sierra was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Mario G. Carvalho, 61, of 90 Trowbridge Place, Naugatuck, was charged July 22 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on July 22 at approximately 5:29 p.m. Carvalho was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Carvalho was given a court date of July 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $103.00 cash bond.

Jose A. Pacheco, 39, of 59 Chestnut Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 23 with first-degree failure to appear and failure to respond-payable violation.

Police reported on July 23 Pacheco was arrested on active arrest warrants. Pacheco was given a court date of Aug. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Jehad M. Hamed, 48, of 1548 Highland Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 24 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 11:15 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance between two males on North Main Street. The altercation occurred in the parking lot of Sunoco. Police reported Hamed engaged the victim, who is known to him, in an argument. During the argument, police reported, Hamed tried to enter the victim’s truck. Hamed was given a court date of Aug. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
