The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Padro Ramon, 37, of 857 Highland Ave., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 5 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on Feb. 5 at approximately 7:13 a.m. Ramon turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Ramon was given a court date of Feb. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.
Candice Bordoy, 47, of 181 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 6 with third-degree assault.
Police reported on Feb. 6 at approximately 11:43 a.m. Bordoy turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife reported on Jan. 20, 2018. During an argument, police reported, Bordoy bit the victim on his arm. The victim sustained a bruise to his bicep, police reported. Bordoy was given a court date of Feb. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
Pedro Galindez, 38, of 43 Colley St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 6 with sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on Feb. 6 at approximately 2:18 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Galindez stole $73.59 worth of merchandise from the store. Galindez was given a court date of Feb. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
David Tiganella, 30, of 130 Atwood Ave., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 6 with possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of controlled substance.
Police reported on Feb. 6 at approximately 4:57 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Hillside Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, Tiganella was found to be in possession of a glass pipe, crack cocaine and heroin. Tiganella was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
Steve Carloto Jr., 23, of 66 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 6 with second-degree failure to appear and weapons in vehicles.
Police reported on Feb. 6 at approximately 6:26 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Spencer Street. During the investigation, police reported, Carloto accused was found to be in possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. Police reported Carloto was arrested on an active arrest warrant during the motor vehicle investigation. Carloto was given court dates of Feb. 21 and Feb. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.
Theresa Theriault, 56, of 52 Alder St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 6 with driving under the influence.
Police reported on Feb. 6 at approximately 11:40 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Spring Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Theriault was operating under the influence of alcohol. Theriault was given a court date of Feb. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
Arnaldo Rojas, 29, of 747 East 168th St., Bronx, was charged Feb. 7 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Feb. 7 at approximately 6 a.m. Rojas turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on April 13, 2017 between former boyfriend and girlfriend. During a disagreement, police reported, Rojas spit at the victim. Rojas was given a court date of Feb. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.
Dayalee Colon, 18, of 50 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 7 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Feb. 7 at approximately 11:34 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Colon and a juvenile offender hit each other. Colon was given a court date of Feb. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
Tyler Johnson, 28, of 77 Long Hill Ave., Shelton, was charged Feb. 8 with misuse of the emergency 911 system and second-degree falsely reporting an incident.
Police reported on Feb. 8 Johnson was arrested while at court. The warrant was for a misuse of the 911 system. Police reported Johnson called 911 on Aug. 15, 2017 and falsely reported a robbery. Based on the investigation, police reported, it was determined a robbery did not occur. He was given a court date of Feb. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.
Phylicia Maia, 30, of 9 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 8 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on Feb. 8 at approximately 9:25 a.m. Maia was arrested on an active arrest warrant while on a motor vehicle investigation. Maia was given a court date of Feb. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.
Amber Sapiente, 33, of 8 Orchard St., Derby, was charged Feb. 8 with sixth-degree larceny.

Carmen Cotto, 27, of 17 Marshall Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 8 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Feb. 8 at approximately 9:56 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Cotto hit the victim causing swelling and bleeding to her lip. Cotto was given a court date of Feb. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
Fredrick Pinon, 31, of 523B Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 10 with driving under the influence.
Police reported on Feb. 10 at approximately 12:38 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of Walmart on New Haven Road. There were no injuries reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Pinon was operating under the influence of alcohol. Pinon was given a court date of Feb. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
Taisha Jurado, 37, of 36 Ronald Road, Terryville, was charged Feb. 11 with driving under the influence, interfering with an officer and failure to submit to fingerprinting.
Police reported on Feb. 11 at approximately 7:19 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on City Hill Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Jurado was operating under the influence of alcohol. When Jurado was being taken into custody, police reported, she began to resist and refused to walk to the officer’s vehicle. During the booking process, police reported, Jurado refused to answer questions or to be fingerprinted. Jurado was given a court date of Feb. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.
