The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Niurkamarlennys Garcia, 37, of, 158 Linda Court, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 18 with evading.

Police reported Garcia was involved in a collision with another vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on Dec. 18, 2017. A witness stated he observed Garcia strike another car in the parking lot and leave, police reported. The witness advised the store of the incident, and both the vehicle owner and the Naugatuck Police Department were contacted. Based on the witness’ vehicle and registration description the owner was identified as Garcia. Garcia was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 28.

Debbie Gray, 55, of 280 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with sith-degree larceny.

The report was not released.

Derrick Mayo, 44, of 96 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with possession of controlled substance.

The arrest report was not available regarding this arrest.

Michael Saladino, 58, of 196 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 20 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 9:31 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Saladino broke a bottle in the home. Saladino was given a court date of Dec. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Francis J. Berthiaume, 60, of 46 Jolie Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 20 with sixth-degree larceny and breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 8:35 p.m. officers responded to a restaurant for a larceny complaint. Berthiaume, who was not satisfied with the food, left the restaurant without paying for it, police reported. When Berthiaume was outside he began to yell and threatened to harm one of the employees of the restaurant, police reported. Berthiaume was given a court date of Jan. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Carrie Figueira, 31, of 41 Englewood Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Dec. 21 with criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 12 a.m. Figueira turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a criminal impersonation that occurred on Nov. 26, 2017. Police reported an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation and Figueira was the operator. During the investigation, police reported, Figueira gave a false name. Figueira was given a court date of Jan. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

William Goldbach, 47, of 174 Stonefield Drive, Waterbury, was charged Dec. 21 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 8:49 p.m. Goldbach turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Dec. 8, 2017 from Sugar Mountain Enterprises. Police reported Goldbach, who was a former employee of the business, stole $150 worth of hardware and paint. Goldbach was given a court date of Jan. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Jesus Soto, 46, of 519 2nd St., Utica, was charged Dec. 21 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 1 p.m. Soto was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Soto was given a court date of Dec. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $150,000.00 court-set surety bond.

Christopher Bernhardt, 37, of 371 Wooster St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 6:36 p.m. officers responded to an erratic driver on New Haven Road. The vehicle was located in a parking lot on New Haven Road. Bernhardt was identified as the operator of the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Bernhardt was operating under the influence of alcohol. Bernhardt was given a court date of Jan. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Samuel Dukes, 51, of 202 Hollock St., New Haven, was charged Dec. 22 with illegal possession of narcotic, possession of narcotic in a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 22 an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, Dukes was found to be in possession of glass smoking pipe, heroin and cocaine. Dukes was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Roberto Rodriguez, 40, of 18 Green St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 23 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 12:26 a.m. Rodriguez was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Rodriguez was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Thomas Gendreau, 23, of 14 Coventry Lane, Beacon Falls, was charged Dec. 23 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 2:50 a.m. Gendreau was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Gendreau was given a court date of Jan. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Dishawn Dozier, 20, of 19 Elmwood St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 23 with weapons in vehicles.

Police reported on Dec. 23 at approximately 11:40 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, a BB gun was found in the vehicle. Dozier was given a court date of Jan. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
