The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Paul Washington, 41, of 2731 North Main St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 11 with second-degree harassment and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 12:11 p.m. Washington was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint. Police reported Washington contacted the victim by text and phone calls harassing the victim. Police reported Washington was also arrested on an active arrest warrant. Washington was given a court date of Dec. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.

Roger W. Jensen Jr., 27, of 71 Nancy Ann, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 8:43 p.m. Jensen was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a vandalism complaint made on Oct. 12, 2017. Police reported Jensen damaged three tires on the victim’s vehicle costing $477. The victim is known to Jensen. Jensen was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

Michael Mott, 38, of 17 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 9:40 p.m. Mott was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Nov. 14, 2017 between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Mott grabbed the victim and pushed her against a dresser. Mott was given a court date of Dec. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Shaina Buckley, 29, of 87 Pondview Circle, Beacon Falls, was charged Dec. 11 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 12:31 a.m. Buckley turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Buckley was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 court set surety bond.

Jason Braz, 19, of 4 Rough Wing Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with first-degree reckless endangerment, breach of peace, threatening, unlawful discharge of firearms, carrying of pistol without a permit, illegally carrying a firearm-under the influence, and third-degree assault

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 3:18 a.m. officers responded to a possible gunshot. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined there was a disturbance at the home. Police reported Braz was involved in an argument with the victim. The victim is known to Braz. During the argument, police reported, Braz punched the victim, and they were engaged in a physical altercation. Family members intervened and separated Braz from the victim. Police reported Braz took out a firearm and fired a shot as the victim was driving from away from the home. Police reported Braz was given a court date of Dec. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

Michelle Henry, 36, of 679 Lake Ave., Bristol, was charged Dec. 11 with first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 7:28 a.m. Henry turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Henry was given a court date of Dec. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

Michelina Dinicola, 69, of 40 Olivia Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 1:27 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Dinicola stole clothing and other merchandise totaling $71.99. Dinicola was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Quashonda Mitchell, 32, of 143 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 12 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 12 at approximately 8:01 a.m. officers responded to the area of Spring Street for two females fighting in the roadway. Based on the investigation, police reported, it was determined the females were engaged in a verbal altercation that did not turn physical. Police reported Mitchell was holding a wooden plank at the time of the altercation. The other female involved was issued an infraction for creating a public disturbance. Mitchell was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released until her court date.

Barry Gaffney, 22, of 87 Downs Road, Monroe, was charged Dec. 12 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 12 at approximately 5:57 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument in a vehicle, police reported, Gaffney punched the rearview mirror causing the windshield to shatter. Gaffney was given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Joan Pinto, 61, of 214 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 12 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 12 at approximately 8:10 p.m. Pinto was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Pinto was given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

Debbie Santo, 48, of 20 Diamond St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 13 with third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 13 Santo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an identity theft complaint made on Feb. 10, 2017. Police reported Santo received utility services in the victim’s name. Santo was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

Dante Davis, 30, of 27 Highland Hills, Waterbury, was charged Dec. 13 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 13 at approximately 8:13 a.m. Davis turned himself in on an active arrest warrant, out of New Britain. Davis was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at New Britain Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Rodney Coriano, 29, of 218 North State St., Ansonia, was charged Dec. 15 with criminally negligent homicide and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Police reported on Dec. 15 at approximately 1:54 a.m. Coriano turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for negligent homicide, which was reported on Dec. 31, 2016. A family member requested assistance from the police department in making contact with the victim. The family member was concerned because the victim was not answering his phone or the door to his residence. The victim was found deceased in his home with narcotics and paraphernalia near him. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Coriano supplied the victim with a narcotic that caused the victim’s death. Coriano was given a court date of Dec. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $250,000 surety bond.

Guy Fletcher, 33, of 7335 Manatee Road, Sarasota, Fla., was charged Dec. 16 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 16 at approximately 2:28 a.m. Fletcher was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Sept. 17, 2017 between former boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Fletcher was at the victim’s home picking up personal belongings when he made a threatening comment to the victim. Fletcher was given a court date of Dec. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set promise to appear.

Carolyn Melecio, 41, of 59 Haggerty Court, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 16 with breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Dec. 16 at approximately 10:05 p.m. officers responded to a report of loud music disturbing other tenants of an apartment building. Police reported on officer made contact with Melecio, who was responsible for the loud music. Police reported Melecio became argumentative with the officer and refused to identify herself. Melecio was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Sean Morell, 31, of 16 May St., Ansonia, was charged Dec. 17 with attempt to commit a crime, sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 5:13 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Morell removed a tablet from its packaging and attempted to conceal it in his jacket. When the officers made contact with Morell, police reported he became argumentative. When the officers were detaining Morell, police reported he tensed his body and threw himself onto the floor. Morell was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Michelle Nunez, 42, of 33 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 17 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 10:08 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Horton Hill Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Nunez was operating under the influence of alcohol. Nunez was given a court date of Dec. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
