The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

JENNIFER SULLIVAN, 39, of 776 North Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Sept. 14 with third-degree burglary, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and third-degree forgery.

Police reported on Sept. 14 at approximately 11:24 a.m. Sullivan was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on June 4, 2015. Police reported Sullivan entered the victim’s home and stole a checkbook. Sullivan then cashed a check from the victim’s account for the amount of $250, police reported. Sullivan was given a court date of Sept. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

MELISSA STOKES, 39, of 824 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 14 with two counts of risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Sept. 14 at approximately 6:07 p.m. Stokes turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for risk of injury to a minor. Police reported Stokes encouraged a relationship between two juveniles which led to inappropriate touching and sharing of inappropriate photos between the juveniles. Stokes was given a court date of Sept. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

MELISA SELITTE-DROST, 33, of 288 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 14 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 14 Selitte-Drost turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Selitte-Drost was given a court date of Sept. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

DANIEL CABANA, 36, of 38 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 15 with first-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact victim under the age of 16.

Police reported on Sept. 15 at approximately 1:30 p.m. Cabana was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a sexual assault of a female juvenile reported on July 11, 2015. Police reported Cabana, who is known to the victim, inappropriately touched the victim on several occasions. Cabana was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $250,000 surety bond.

THOMAS ARSENAULT JR., 22, of 1095 Old Colony Road, Meriden, was charged Sept. 16 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 1:07 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Arsenault was operating under the influence of alcohol. Arsenault was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MATTHEW GARGUILO, 27, of 67 Tawny Thrush Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 16 with sixth-degree larceny and driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 1:02 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Water Street. During the investigation, policer reported, it was determined Garguilo was operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Garguilo was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Police reported on Sept. 16 Garguilo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Jan. 26, 2015. Police reported Garguilo stole the victim’s play station, valued at $399. Garguilo was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

JOSEPH MANUS, 60, of 30 Bryson Ave., Seymour, was charged Sept. 16 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 11:50 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Manus was operating under the influence of alcohol. Manus was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JAMES MATTICE, 31, of 50 Laclair Court, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 16 with second-degree failure to appear and three counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 7 p.m. Mattice was arrested on active arrest warrants. Mattice was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a surety bond.

JOSE BARRAGAN, 32, of 87 Sylvan Ave., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 17 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 17 at approximately 11:09 a.m. Barragan was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Barragan was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $500 cash bond.

GREGORY HUGHES, 44, of 190 Straitsville Road, Prospect, was charged Sept. 18 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 18 at approximately 12:22 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hughes was operating under the influence of alcohol. Hughes was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MERCY SAEZ, 35, of 230 Bungay Road, Seymour, was charged Sept. 18 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 18 at approximately 2:28 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 Exit 26. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Saez was operating under the influence of alcohol. Saez was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

TIM WYNN, 46, of 728 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 18 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 18 at approximately 11:07 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wynn was operating under the influence of alcohol. Wynn was given a court date of Oct. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

PAUL FALANGO, 40, of 41 Webster Drive, Shelton, was charged Sept. 19 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 12:16 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Falango was operating under the influence of alcohol. Falango was given a court date of Sept. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

ROBERT CROWTHER, 29, of 3 Hill St., Seymour, was charged Sept. 20 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 20 Crowther turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on May 3, 2015 at Walmart. Police reported Crowther stole DVD movies. Crowther was given a court date of Sept. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $250 cash bond.

JAMILEX MATOS, 19, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 20 with breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Sept. 20 at approximately 7:02 p.m. officers responded to 709 Rubber Ave. 2nd floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Jamilex Matos broke a window on a door to the residence. Matos given a court date of Sept. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

JOEL ESCOBALES, 26, of 709 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 20 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Sept. 20 at approximately 7:02 p.m. officers responded to 709 Rubber Ave. 2nd floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Escobales threw a chair. Escobales given a court date of Sept. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

THOMAS CODY, 26, of 113 Fern St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 21 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 12:09 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Meadow Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Cody was operating under the influence of alcohol. Cody was given a court date of Oct. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ROBERT SMITH, 61, of 164 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 21 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 12:09 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Prospect Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Smith was operating under the influence of alcohol. Smith was given a court date of Oct. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
