The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Superior court dispositions are available online.

Jessica Bowley, 26, of 231 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 14 with third-degree identity theft and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 14 Bowley was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from an incident that was reported on Feb. 29, 2016 in which the victim reported that someone cashed a paycheck in her name at a bank in Waterbury. The investigation revealed that Bowley, who is a relative of the victim, cashed the check, police reported. Bowley was involved in a traffic stop on Aug. 14 at which time it was determined that she had the outstanding arrest warrant. Bowley was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 24.

Branden Santo, 20, of 20 Diamond St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 14 with criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Aug. 14 Santo was involved in a motor vehicle stop in which he provided officers with false information including his name. The subject was identified through NPD in-house records and was arrested. Santo was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 21.

Jose Bellido-Rosado, 37, of 13 Pleasant St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 14 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Aug. 14 at approximately 10:20 a.m. Bellido-Rosado turned himself in on an active arrest warrant out of Meriden. Bellido-Rosado was given a court date of Aug. 24 to appear at Meriden Superior Court and released on a $100 court-set cash bond.

Jose Bellido, 37, of 13 Pleasant St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 14 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 14 at approximately 10:20 a.m. Bellido turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a disturbance reported on July 18, 2017. Police reported Bellido had a confrontation with a fellow employee and left. Bellido returned to work with a baseball bat, police reported. Bellido left the business prior to the officers’ arrival. There was no report of the bat being used during the confrontation, police reported. Bellido was given a court date of Aug. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Carissa Mayo, 54, of 200 Proctor St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 14 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 14 Mayo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident that occurred on Oct. 7, 2016 from the Ocean State Job Lot Store on Rubber Avenue. Mayo was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 23.

Marco Tellerico, 28, of 116 Farmingberry Drive, Marion, was charged Aug. 15 with fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 15 Tellerico was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident that occurred on May 14, 2017 from the Sunoco Station located at 531 North Main St. Tellerico was held and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 15.

Lubens Laurent, 34, of 95 Fern St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 15 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Aug. 15 Laurent was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that occurred on July 18, 2017. Laurent was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 16.

Angel Cruz, 31, of 483 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 15 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on Aug. 15 Cruz was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that occurred on Aug. 12, 2017. Cruz was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 16.

Derrick Wilson, 18, of 46 Bridge St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 15 with first-degree criminal attempt at robbery, possession of facsimile firearm and breach of peace.

Shannon Ellis, 33, of 195 N. Elm St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 15 Ellis was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Ellis was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 29.

Mark Adams, 32, of 87 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 15 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 15 Adams was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that occurred on Aug. 2, 2017. Adams was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 16.

Brian Baldwin, 33, of 51 Valley Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 15 with violation of protective order and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 15 at approximately 10:55 p.m. officers responded to 51 Valley Drive for a reported domestic dispute between Baldwin and a family member. It was determined that the two became involved in a verbal altercation that became physical, police reported. It was also determined that Baldwin was in violation of a standing protective order. Baldwin was held on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 16.

Brooks Maiette, 30, of 534 Wilson St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 16 with use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Aug. 16 Maiette was involved in a motor vehicle investigation by Naugatuck police during which it was discovered that Maiette was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Maiette was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 30.

David Adamson, 50, of 925 Oronoke Road, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 16 with possession of narcotics, drinking while operating a motor vehicle and driving under the influence.

Police reported on Aug. 16 at about 5:55 p.m. officers were dispatched to the XPress Mart on 620 Church St. on a report of a possible drunk driver. Police reported Adamson was located seated behind the wheel of a vehicle parked in the XPress Mart parking lot and was observed exiting the vehicle. Adamson was approached and during the interview with officers he was observed to display signs of intoxication, police reported. Police reported it was discovered that Adamson was drinking alcoholic beverages while operating the vehicle and was in possession of narcotics. Adamson was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

Joseph Taccone, 31, of 138 South Cliff St., Ansonia, was charged Aug. 16 with possession of controlled substance, non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or day care, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Aug. 16 Taccone was involved in a motor vehicle investigation by Naugatuck police during which it was discovered that Taccone was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. The stop occurred within the close proximity of a school. Taccone was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 30.

Jennifer Spezzano, 37, of 222 Oakville Ave., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 17 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 17 Spezzano was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a domestic related incident that occurred on July 23, 2017. Spezzano was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 18.

Tyler Johnson, 27, of 77 Long Hill Ave., Shelton, was charged Aug. 17 with illegal possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana, two counts of second-degree failure to appear and two counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 17 at approximately 8:30 p.m. officers responded to 175 Church St. on an attempt to locate for Johnson. During the investigation, police reported, Johnson was located by police on the roof of a business located at 152 Church St. Upon locating Johnson, police reported, he was sent to a local hospital for examination and his vehicle was located. Officers observed drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, police reported. Police reported Johnson was also arrested on active PRAWN failure to appear arrest warrants. Johnson was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 17.

Maryann Conrad, 49, of 59 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 17 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 17 Conrad was arrested on an active PRAWN failure to appear arrest warrant. Conrad was held on a court-ordered $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 17.

Samantha Barreira, 19, of 1605 Whalley Ave., New Haven, was charged Aug. 17 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear and two counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 17 Barreira was arrested on active PRAWN failure to appear arrest warrants. Barreira was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 30.

Gregory Caporuscio, 30, of last known address 212 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 19 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 7:33 a.m. Caporuscio was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on July 30, 2017. During an argument, which took place outside the residence, police reported, Caporuscio threw a box of belongings at the victim’s vehicle. Caporuscio was given a court date of Aug. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 court set-surety bond.

Michael Hinton-Semedo, 31, of 141 Benefit St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 19 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 1:31 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hinton-Semedo was operating under the influence of alcohol. Hinton-Semedo was given a court date of Aug. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Eric Santos, 27, of 75 Sunburst Road, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 19 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 4:56 p.m. Santos was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Santos was given a court date of Aug. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

Jeffrey Guglielmo, 51, of 405 Willow St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 19 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 19 at approximately 6:08 p.m. Guglielmo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Guglielmo was given a court date of Aug. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 cash bond.
