The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

MATTHEW LANTIERI, 23, of 11 Mulberry St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 1 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on Sept. 1 at approximately 3:35 p.m. Lantieri was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Lantieri was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $50,000 surety bond.

RAY RODRIGUEZ, 35, of 95 Spring St., second floor, was charged Sept. 1 with brandishing a facsimile firearm, second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment and breach of peace.

Police reported on Sept. 1 at approximately 3:52 p.m. officers responded to 95 Spring St., second floor, for a domestic disturbance between stepfather and son. During an argument, police reported, Rodriguez pointed a blank gun in the direction of the victim and fired a blank round. There were children home during the altercation, police reported. Rodriguez was given a court date of Sept. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $100,000 surety bond.

CHRISTINE VAUGHAN, 38, of 127 Cosey Beach Ave., East Hartford, was charged Sept. 1 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Sept. 1 at approximately 8 p.m. Vaughan was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Meriden. Vaughan was given a court date of Sept. 9 to appear at Meriden Superior Court and released on a $150 cash bond.

WILBERTO BURGOS, 21, of 29 Woodlawn Ave., Ansonia, was charged Sept. 2 with driving under the influence, engaging police in pursuit, possession of narcotic and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Sept. 2 at approximately 12:36 a.m. an officer attempted to stop Burgos traveling on Elm Street. Police reported Burgos continued to drive and was found parked in a business’s property on Elm Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Burgos was operating under the influence of alcohol. Police reported Burgos was found to be in possession of cocaine. Burgos was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a non-surety bond.

FRANCIS SCOTT, 26, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 2 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Sept. 2 at approximately 3:59 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Millville Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Scott was in possession of 1.02 ounces of marijuana. Scott was given a court date of Sept. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JONATHAN CROSBY, 20, of 63 Bank St., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 5 with driving under the influence.

ANTHONY SPINELLI III, 25, of 94 Seth Den Road, Oxford, was charged Sept. 5 with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Sept. 5 at approximately 7:37 p.m. an officer investigated a suspicious motor vehicle on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Spinelli was in possession of 0.12 ounces of heroin. Spinelli was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

JOSEPH COPPOLA, 38, of 58 Coen St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 5 with breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Sept. 5 at approximately 11:54 p.m. an officer investigated a disturbance on Rubber Avenue. Police reported Coppola was walking with a female and was swearing, disturbing pedestrians in the area. When approached by the officers, police reported, Coppola was uncooperative. Coppola was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

SHAKEEL BULLEN, 19, of 44 Putnam St., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 1:40 a.m. Bullen was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Bullen was given a court date of Sept. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 court-set surety bond.

RENE MALLOY, 36, of 4415 3rd Ave., Bronx, N.Y., was charged Sept. 6 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 2:44 a.m. officers responded to Brittany Lane for a female yelling for help. Upon their arrival, police reported, the female was found and she reported a domestic disturbance between herself and her boyfriend. They were involved in an argument, which escalated into a physical altercation of pushing, police reported. Malloy was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JENEL BYRD, 31, of 472E 139 St., Bronx, N.Y., was charged Sept. 6 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 2:44 a.m. officers responded to Brittany Lane for a female yelling for help. Upon their arrival, police reported, the female was found and she reported a domestic disturbance between herself and her boyfriend. They were involved in an argument, which escalated into a physical altercation of pushing, police reported. Byrd was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

YAHAIRA GUADALUPE, 19, of 68 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 6 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 10:34 p.m. officers responded to 68 Anderson St. Apt 3C for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Guadalupe broke glasses and plates. Guadalupe was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

STEVEN MALDONADO, 20, of 57a Jersey St., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 6 with breach of peace, third-degree assault and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 10:19 p.m. officers responded to the area of Donavan Road and May Street for a disturbance call. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Maldonado was involved in a domestic disturbance with his girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Maldonado grabbed the victim by her shoulders and hair. When the officers were speaking with the parties involved, police reported, Maldonado lunged at the victim. Maldonado was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

GERALD VANDROOGE, 26, of 67 Hidden Knolls, Monroe, was charged Sept. 6 with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 11:31 p.m. officers responded to High Street by Maple Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Vandrooge and Dominique Vadnais pushed and shoved each other in the roadway. Vandrooge was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,000 non-surety bond.

DOMINIQUE VADNAIS, 22, of 87 Judson Lane, Bethlehem, was charged Sept. 6 with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Sept. 6 at approximately 11:31 p.m. officers responded to High Street by Maple Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Dominique Vadnais and Gerald Vandrooge pushed and shoved each other in the roadway. Vadnais was given a court date of Sept. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,000 non-surety bond.
