The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Kimberly Steady, 37, of 58 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 3:41 p.m. Steady turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Steady was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 court-set surety bond.

Victoria Rodriguez, 41, of 65 Round Tree Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 8:11 officers responded to a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Rodriguez pushed the victim. Rodriguez was given a court date of Feb. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Sonny Sutton, 18, of 53 Old Field Road, Southbury, was charged Feb. 28 with third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 28 at approximately 1:48 a.m. officers responded to the Motor Lodge for a disturbance. Police reported Sutton and a juvenile offender were staying in a room with other friends. Sutton and the juvenile offender were engaged in an argument that turned into a physical fight, police reported. During the altercation a chair was damaged inside the room, police reported. Sutton threw a rock at the victim’s vehicle, damaging a window, when they were leaving the parking lot, police reported. Sutton was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Michael Rey, 48, of 370 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 28 with breach of peace, interfering with an officer, assault of public safety/emergency medical personnel, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Police reported on Feb. 28 at approximately 3:53 p.m. an officer attempted to conduct a motor vehicle investigation. Police reported Rey continued to drive and stopped on Scott Street. A passenger in Rey’s vehicle was identified and found to be wanted on an active arrest warrant. When the officers were arresting the passenger, police reported, Rey became uncooperative. During the investigation, police reported, he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. Rey was given a court date of March 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

Andrew Mendillo, 40, of 81 Hacket St., Naugatuck, was charged March 1 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 1 Mendillo was arrested on active arrest warrants. Mendillo was given a court date of March 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

Tammy Colburn, 54, of 27 Mulberry St., Naugatuck, was charged March 1 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 1 at approximately 7:27 p.m. officers responded to High Street for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Colburn struck a fire hydrant on High Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Colburn was operating under the influence of alcohol. Colburn was given a court date of March 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Jordon Wilkins, 18, of 1798 Meriden Road, Waterbury, was charged March 2 with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint, first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 2 at approximately 12:44 a.m. an officer investigated a past assault between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, the female juvenile pushed and punched Wilkins. Police reported Wilkins then held the juvenile down and hit her. The juvenile sustained bruising and scratches, police reported. Wilkins was given a court date of March 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Edward Buehler, 48, of 164 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 2 with possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance and illegal storage of a controlled substance.

Police reported on March 2 at approximately 4:54 p.m. Buehler was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic violation on Feb. 24, 2017. Police reported officers responded to an unconscious male party in a vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, Buehler was found to be in possession of heroin and prescription medication in containers with the labels peeled off. Buehler was given a court date of March 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

Peter Johansen, 30, of 97 Route 169, Canterbury, was charged March 2 with first-degree failure to appear and five counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 2 at approximately 7 a.m. Johansen turned himself in on active arrest warrants. Johansen was given a court date of March 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Brook Franz, 53, of last known address State Street, Ignace, was charged March 2 with driving under the influence and weapons in vehicles.

Police reported on March 2 at approximately 7:24 p.m. officers responded to Rubber Avenue for a suspicious motor vehicle complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Franz was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Police reported Franz was found to be in possession of an axe and a wooden club in the vehicle. Franz was given a court date of March 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Johann Padilla, 44, of 1312 Highland Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 3 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 3 at approximately 4:33 p.m. Padilla was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Danbury. Padilla was given a court date of March 14 to appear at Danbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $750 surety bond.

Zachary Lance, 22, of 253 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged March with weapons in vehicles.

Police reported on March 4 at approximately 12:46 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Water Street. During the investigation, police reported, a fixed blade knife, a blunt weapon and a pry bar were found inside Lance’s vehicle. Lance was given a court date of March 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Aries Gallagher, 19, of 115 Farrington Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 4 with possession of controlled substance, illegal sale of controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia, narcotics kept only in original container and non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or day care.

Police reported on March 4 at approximately 7:47 p.m. an officer conducted an investigation on New Street during which the officer found Gallagher to be in possession of illegal narcotics/controlled substances. Gallagher was released on a $1,500 bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 15.
