The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Angel Curet, 29, of 27 Newman Ave., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 21 with violation or protective order and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on Feb. 21 Curet was arrested while he attended court. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order. Police reported Curet contacted the victim through phone calls and text messages, which was found to be in violation of an active protective order. Curet was given a court date of Feb. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Susan Davis, 54, of 72 Munson Ave., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 22 Davis was arrested at court on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Oct. 16, 2015 from Walmart. Police reported Davis stole $188.15 worth of clothing from the store. Davis was given a court date of Feb. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Kenneth Minto, 60, of 78 Nancy Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with third-degree burglary.

Police reported on Feb. 22 Minto was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary reported on Oct. 20, 2015. Police reported Minto forced entry to a restaurant and stole money. Minto was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a Promise to Appear.

Theresa Moriarty, 60, of 356 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 22 Moriarty was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on July 14, 2016. Police reported Moriarty found the victim’s wallet, which was left a local business. Moriarty stole $200 that was contained inside the wallet, police reported. Moriarty was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Yaireck Santiago, 21, of 240 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 8:12 p.m. Santiago turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Dec. 22, 2016 from McDonalds. Santiago, a former employee, stole $2,263.36 from a deposit envelope, police reported. Santiago was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Henry Pereira, 22, of 19 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with violation of restraining order.

Police reported on Feb. 22 Pereira was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a restraining order. Police reported Pereira contacted a family member of the victim, which was determined to be a violation of a retraining order. Pereira was given a court date of Feb. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

Edgardo Soto, 36, of 243 Porter Ave., Middlebury, was charged Feb. 22 with driving under the influence and carrying a firearm while under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 12:07 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Soto was operating under the influence of alcohol. Police reported Soto was found to be in possession of a handgun, which was located in the vehicle. Soto was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a non-surety bond.

Nicholas Sidorick, 30, of 2 Francis Drive, Wolcott, was charged Feb. 22 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 1:55 a.m. on Route 8 North. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Sidorick was operating under the influence of alcohol. Sidorick was given a court date of March 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Devonte Perez-Quiles, 22, of 5 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 11:13 a.m. officers responded to Rubber Avenue for two males fighting. The parties left prior to the officers’ arrival. The victim and Perez-Quiles were located in the area, police reported. Perez-Quiles initiated a fight with the victim, police reported. Perez-Quiles pushed and punched the victim, police reported. Perez-Quiles was given a court date of March 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Seth Brown, 40, of 155 Watch Hill Road, Branford, was charged Feb. 22 with second-degree failure to appear and first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 4:03 p.m. Brown was arrested on active arrest warrants. Brown was given a court date of March 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a surety bond.

Gregg Wallace, 22, of 49 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 24 with reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, driving under the influence, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal trover damage to motor vehicle, use of motor vehicle without permission and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 24 at approximately 1:11 a.m. an officer attempted to conduct a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. Police reported Wallace refused to stop and continued to drive onto Route 8 North at a high rate of speed. Police reported Wallace was later located in Prospect where he was taken into custody. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wallace took the victim’s vehicle for extended period of time without permission. Wallace was given a court date of Feb. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Shaina Buckley, 28, of 87 Pondview Circle, Beacon Falls, was charged Feb. 25 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear and violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 12:54 p.m. Buckley was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Buckley was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior and released on a $500 cash bond.

Jonathan Rivera, 31, of 54 Woodbine St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 25 with first-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 1:01 a.m. an officer responded to Church Street for a vandalism complaint. Police reported Rivera damaged the victim’s vehicle by causing scratches to the driver’s side. The victim is known to Rivera. Rivera was given a court date of Feb. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Antonio Santos, 18, of 38 Fairmount St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 25 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 2:41 a.m. Santos was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Santos was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

Amber N. McGee, 30, of 255 Ennis Mill Road, Hodgenville, was charged Feb. 25 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 4:56 a.m. officers responded to Cumberland Farms on Rubber Avenue for a person sleeping in a vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined McGee was operating under the influence of alcohol. McGee was given a court date of March 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

Jason Cacace, 36, of 20 Barn Finch Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 25 with risk of injury to child, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 6:07 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Cacace struck the victim causing a cut to her lip. There was a juvenile that was present during the altercation, police reported. Cacace was given a court date of Feb. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

John Hanas, 26, of 38 Idleview Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 25 with disorderly conduct, threatening, risk of injury to child and violation of protective order.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 7:28 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Hanas threatened to harm the victim. There was a juvenile present during the altercation, police reported. Hanas was given a court date of Feb. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

Bryan Ross, 31, of 271 Cooke St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 26 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 26 at approximately 2:04 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ross was operating under the influence of alcohol. Ross was given a court date of March 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
