The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

DONOVAN BOSQUE, 35, of 47 Galpin St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 13 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 13 Bosque was arrested on an active arrest warrant while at court. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order reported on Dec. 5, 2016. Police reported Bosque violated the order by contacting the victim by phone. Bosque was given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

KATHLEEN LEE, 44, of 8360 Alabama Ave., Gulf Port, was charged Dec. 13 with first-degree failure to appear and a second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 13 at approximately 6:30 a.m. Lee turned herself in on active arrest warrants. Lee was given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set surety bond.

TRACY HINNANT, 44, of 24 Vine St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 13 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 13 at approximately 10:47 a.m. Hinnant turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Hinnant was given a court date of Dec. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $120 cash bond.

AARON EWINGS, 26, of 30 Tawny Thrush Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 13 at approximately 11:34 p.m. officers responded to Osborne Road for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Ewings struck a utility pole; there were minor injuries reported. Based on the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ewings was operating under the influence of alcohol. Ewings was given a court date of Dec. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JEFFREY GUGLIELMO, 23, of 1081 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 14 with third-degree identity theft, sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft by transfer, illegal use of credit card.

Police reported on Dec. 14 at approximately 9:20 p.m. Guglielmo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Nov. 13, 2016. Police reported Guglielmo stole cash from the victim and used the victim’s credit card to make unauthorized purchases. The victim is an acquaintance of Guglielmo. Guglielmo was given a court date of Dec. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

KARIM DAVID, 58, of 39 East Dover St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 14 at approximately 9:19 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined David was operating under the influence of alcohol. David was given a court date of Dec. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOSE SOUSA, 70, of 206 Evening Star Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 15 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 15 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sousa was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a single car motor vehicle accident that occurred on Oct. 19, 2016. Police reported Sousa struck a concrete barrier on Prospect Street while traveling east. There were minor injuries reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Sousa was operating under the influence of alcohol. Sousa was given a court date of Dec. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

BRUNO REIS, 38, of 190 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 15 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 15 Reis was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he attended court. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on Oct. 22, 2016 at Stop & Shop. Police reported Reis stole $112.77 worth of Gatorade, Redbull and Tide. Reis was given a court date of Dec. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

LEONARD BRATCHELL, 25, of 30 Tudor Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 16 with first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 16 at approximately 2:04 p.m. Bratchell was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Bratchell was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

TODD MOSS, 39, of 4 Babcock Court, Willimantic, was charged Dec. 16 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 16 at approximately 10:15 p.m. officers responded to 66 Church St. for a disturbance between patrons. When the staff separated the patrons Moss began to yell obscenities at one of the staff, police reported. Police reported Moss was told to leave the bar and he resisted when he was escorted out of the bar. Moss was given a court date of Dec. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MARAYA MONTERO, 25, of 20 Diamond St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 17 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 12:45 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Millville Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Montero was operating under the influence of alcohol. Montero was given a court date of Dec. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JAMIE DEROSA, 40, of 45 Country, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 17 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 2:45 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Derosa was operating under the influence of alcohol. Derosa was given a court date of Dec. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MARK VARGO, 32, of 27 Edgerton Road, Wallingford, was charged Dec. 17 with third-degree assault and third-degree strangulation.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 4:07 a.m. an officer responded to 185 Andrew Ave. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Vargo pushed the victim and put his hands on her neck. Vargo was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. He was held on bond.

BRANDON SHEMANSKI, 21, of 106 City Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 17 with driving under the influence, and sale, use and possession of fireworks.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 8:34 a.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on City Hill Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Shemanski was operating under the influence of alcohol. While the officer conducted a vehicle inventory, police reported, Shemanski was found to be in possession of fireworks. Shemanski was given a court date of Dec. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a non-surety bond.

LISA LEOPARDI, 37, of 23 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 17 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 7:36 p.m. officers responded to 23 Highland Ave. for a domestic disturbance between Leopardi and a family member. During the incident, police reported, the victim advised that the two became involved in a verbal altercation that became physical when Leopardi struck the family member. Neither party was seriously injured during the incident, police reported. Leopardi was released on a bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 19.

MARISSA YANAK, 28, of 4 Eagle Rock Hill, Bethel, was charged Dec. 18 with possession of controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 11 a.m. an officer conducted a suspicious vehicle check of a reported vehicle that had been parked at the gas station located at 1059 New Haven Road overnight. Upon officers making contact with the two occupants they discovered that the two were in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, police reported. Yanak was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 28.

JEFFERY VALENTINE, 28, of 27 Poplar St., New Milford, was charged Dec. 18 with possession of controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 11 a.m. an officer conducted a suspicious vehicle check of a reported vehicle that had been parked at the gas station located at 1059 New Haven Road overnight. Upon officers making contact with the two occupants they discovered that the two were in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, police reported. Valentine was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 28.

ANNIKA EKBERGH-PEEK, 32, of 71 Cliff St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 18 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 8:14 p.m. officers responded to 81 Cliff St. for a domestic disturbance between Ekbergh-Peek and a family member. During the incident, police reported, the victim advised that the two became involved in a verbal altercation that became physical when Ekbergh-Peek struck the family member. Neither party was injured during the incident. Ekbergh-Peek was released on a bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 19.

WILLIAM N. NOLL, 35, of 20 LeClair Court, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 18 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Dec. 18 Noll was arrested on an active arrest warrant for failing to respond. Noll was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on $100 bond.

ROBERT ROGERS, 59, of 157 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 18 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 11:12 a.m. officers responded to 157 School St. for a domestic disturbance between roommates. During then incident, police reported, both subjects advised officers that they became involved in an argument that became a physical altercation. Rogers was released on bond and given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

LINDA RACINE, 54, of 157 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 18 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 18 at approximately 11:12 a.m. officers responded to 157 School St. for a domestic disturbance between roommates. During then incident, police reported, both subjects advised officers that they became involved in an argument that became a physical altercation. Racine was released on bond and given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
