The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

COLIN LECLERC, 19, of 403 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 6 p.m. LeClerc was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a burglary reported on June 10, 2016 at the Union City Little League. Police reported LeClerc, with an accomplice, forced entry to the concession area and stole food and money. LeClerc was given a court date of Dec. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000.00 surety bond.

KENNETH BELANGER JR., 19, of 143 Beacon Valley Road, Beacon Falls, was charged Dec. 5 with criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 12:59 p.m. officers responded to Wooster Street for a report of an attempted larceny. Police reported Belanger attempted to steal two SUV batteries from the victim’s property. When confronted by the victim, Belanger drove away from the home, police reported. Belanger was given a court date of Dec. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

STEPHEN RIVERA 56, of 700 May St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 6:01 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rivera was operating under the influence of alcohol. Rivera was given a court date of Dec. 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

RITA PASZEL, 65, of 38 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 6 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 4:44 p.m. an officer responded to Highland Avenue for a dispute over a taxi fare. The taxi transported Paszel from Waterbury to Naugatuck, police reported. When Paszel reached her destination she refused to pay the $29.10 fare, police reported. Paszel was given a court date of Dec. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DAVID SMALLWOOD, 47, of 76 Rosemont Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 7 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 8:26 p.m. officers responded to 302 Scott St. 2nd floor for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Smallwood entered the victim’s home and argued with the victim and the victim’s boyfriend. During the argument, police reported, Smallwood punched a counter top causing a cut to his hand. Smallwood was given a court date of Dec. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

HECTOR RODRIGUEZ, 34, of 16 Frederick St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 8 with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 8 Rodriguez was arrested on an active arrest warrant while at court. The warrant was for a criminal mischief complaint reported on Aug. 21, 2016. Police reported Rodriguez was seated in a vehicle in the parking lot of Coliseum Pawn Shop. When the victim left the shop Rodriguez ran after him stating he knew him from a previous incident, police reported. The victim ran to his vehicle and Rodriguez followed. Police reported Rodriguez used a brass knuckle knife to shatter the victim’s widow. Rodriguez left the area prior to the officers’ arrival. Rodriguez was given a court date of Dec. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

ANDREA GULIUZZA, 33, of 121 National Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 8 with cruelty to animals and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 8 Guliuzza was served an outstanding arrest warrant from an incident dating back to June 27, 2015. During that incident, police reported, Naugatuck police and animal control found that Guliuzza had intentionally neglected a canine she owned by not providing food or water for the animal for several days at a time. Guliuzza was released on a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 21.

Police reported on Dec. 8 Guliuzza was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. Guliuzza released on a $500 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 21.

KANDICE GUERRERA, 24, of 167 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 8 with risk of injury to child and breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 8 at approximately 12 a.m. Guerrera turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a fight reported on Nov. 7, 2016 involving juveniles. An argument between female juveniles turned into a physical altercation. During the fight, police reported, Guerrera put her arm around one of the juvenile’s neck. Guerrera is a family member to one of the juveniles involved. Guerrera was given a court date of Dec. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

FRANK TOMPKINS, 26, of 94 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 8 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Dec. 8 Tompkins was arrested in relation to a physical dispute that resulted in a minor injury to the victim. Tompkins was released on a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 21.

JUSTIN NA, 25, of 79 Downes St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 9 first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 9 at approximately 10:18 a.m. Na was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Na was given a court date of Dec. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

APRIL SWISKI, 34, of 343 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 9 with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 9 at approximately 6:28 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Hunters Mountain Road. Police reported Swiski was a passenger in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Swiski was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Swiski was given a court date of Dec. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER DAVEY, 54, of 35 Morris Road, Prospect, was charged Dec. 10 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 10 at approximately 3:39 p.m. officers responded to Rubber Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Davey struck a parked car on Aetna Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Davey was operating under the influence of alcohol. Davey was given a court date of Dec. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

AUDREY ATWOOD, 47, of 229 Cooke St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 10 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 10 at approximately 5:31 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a counterfeit money complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Atwood was wanted on an active arrest warrant. Atwood was given a court date of Dec. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $45,000 surety bond.

MARIA LOZANO, 23, of 211 Ledgeside Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 10 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 10 at approximately 7:24 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Lozano stole cleaning supplies, electric razor and socks valued at $94.11. Lozano was given a court date of Dec. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SHARON CABEZAS-MORALES, 23, of 211 Ledgeside Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 10 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 10 at approximately 7:24 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Cabezas-Morales stole cleaning supplies, electric razor and socks valued at $94.11. Cabezas-Morales was given a court date of Dec. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SANDRA SUMMER, 34, of 451 Lakewood Road, Waterbury, was charged Dec. 11 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 5:14 a.m. officers responded to New Haven Road for a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Summer was operating under the influence of alcohol. Summer was given a court date of Dec. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

DMITRY KALININ, 27, of 11 Hilltop Road, West Hartford, was charged Dec. 11 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 9:27 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between family members. During an argument, police reported, a juvenile kicked the victim in her stomach. When the father intervened Kalinin became involved and slapped the father, police reported. Kalinin was given a court date of Dec. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

JOEL PACHECO, 29, of 38 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 11 an officer responded to 38 Highland Ave. Apt. 309 for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Pacheco threw the victim’s laptop, clothes and cell phone to the floor. Pacheco was given a court date of Dec. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

MEGHAN LACROIX, 36, of 24 Hickory Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 10:06 p.m. officers responded to 24 Hickory Road for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Lacroix hit the victim. When the victim attempted to call the police for help, Lacroix grabbed the phone hindering the victim’s ability to complete the call, police reported. Lacroix was given a court date of Dec. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
