The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

CHRISTOPHER KUROWSKI, 20, of 73 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 4 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 4 at approximately 12:15 a.m. Kurowski was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order that occurred on Oct. 19, 2016. Police reported Kurowski was in a vehicle with the party that has a full protective order against him. Kurowski was given a court date of Nov. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court set $1,500 surety bond.

BONNY HARROLD, 68, of 39 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 7 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 7 at approximately 10:28 p.m. officers responded to 39 Horton Hill Road 5G for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Harrold pushed the victim causing him to fall to the floor. Harrold was given a court date of Nov. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

EROLL HODZA, 29, of 8 Carroll Court, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 11 with first-degree criminal trespass and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Nov. 11 at approximately 6:51 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a trespassing complaint. Police reported Hodza entered the store after being previously banned. During the investigation, police reported, Hodza was found to be in possession of Xanax without a prescription. Hodza was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a surety bond.

DANIEL DUBUQUE, 30, of 137 Newton Terrace, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 12 at approximately 12:51 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Dubuque was operating under the influence of alcohol. Dubuque was given a court date of Nov. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

MARTIN GAMALSKI, 46, of 89 Celentano Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 12 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Nov. 12 at approximately 10:27 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a disturbance. Police reported Gamalski was yelling vulgarities at a group of juveniles and other customers of the store. Gamalski was given a court date of Nov. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

MARIO LAJUAN SMITH, 34, of 22 Toros Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 12 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Nov. 12 at approximately 3:45 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, Smith was found to be in possession of 4.28 grams of heroin. Smith was given a court date of Nov. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

FRANCO PALMIERI, 57, of 135 Forest St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 13 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Nov. 13 at approximately 2:04 a.m. officers responded to a medical complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the victim’s injury was caused during a domestic disturbance with her husband. During an argument, police reported, Palmieri pushed the victim causing her to fall to the floor. Palmieri was given a court date of Nov. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

EZEQUIEL DIAZ, 38, of 185 Thompson St., Stratford, was charged Nov. 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 13 at approximately 5:25 p.m. officers responded to Tolles Square for a disturbance. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Diaz was operating under the influence of alcohol. Diaz was given a court date of Nov. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

AMANDIO ALVES, 41, of 52 Crown St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 13 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 13 at approximately 7:53 p.m. an officer investigated a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. The victim walked to the PD to report the incident. During an argument, police reported, Alves pushed the victim to the ground and threw a plate of food at her. Alves was given a court date of Nov. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

DONALD BENAITIS, 48, of 129 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 14 with violation of protective order and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 14 at approximately 1:55 a.m. officers responded to 129 Millville Ave. 1st floor for a domestic disturbance between stepfather and stepson. Police reported Benaitis was arguing with his wife in the home when Samuel Krom intervened. During the argument, police reported, Krom struck Benaitis in the face. It was determined Benaitis violated an active protective order. Benaitis was given a court date of Nov. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

SAMUEL KROM, 18, of 129 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 14 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
