The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

ANTONIO OLIVEIRA, 54, of 121 High St., Naugatuck, was charged April 18 with three counts of second-degree failure to appear, criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer. He was charged April 19 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 18 at approximately 4:22 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Water Street. Police reported Oliveira gave the officer a false name when initially interviewed. During the investigation, police reported, Oliveira’s identity was determined. He was wanted on active arrest warrants. Oliveira was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

Police reported on April 19 at approximately 9:04 a.m. Oliveria was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he was at court. Oliveria was given a court date of April 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment on a court-set $1,000 surety bond.

CAITLYN ANDREW, 32, of 36 Greenwood St., Naugatuck, was charged April 18 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 18 at approximately 5:21 p.m. Andrew was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Derby. Andrew was given a court date of May 5 to appear at Derby Superior Court and released on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

ANTONIO SOARES, 54, of 59 Olivia Lane, Naugatuck, was charged April 19 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 19 at approximately 1:26 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Jones Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Soares was operating under the influence of alcohol. Soares was given a court date of April 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

REBECCA REGAN, 47, of 44 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged April 19 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 19 at approximately 3:16 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Regan stole $38 worth of merchandise from the store. Regan was given a court date of April 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

HECTOR VAZQUEZ, 37, of 114 Spindle Hill Road, Wolcott, was charged April 19 with criminal possession of a firearm/electronic defense weapon, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree assault, risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 19 at approximately 11:58 p.m. Vazquez turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for domestic disturbance between cousins. During an argument, police reported, Vazquez punched the victim. Vazquez also had a stun gun but the victim was able to get away from him, police reported. The victim’s child was present during the assault, police reported. Vazquez was given a court date of April 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

GERALD SANFORD, 53, of 1395 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 19 with third-degree assault.

Police reported on April 19 at approximately 1:27 p.m. Sanford was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend reported on April 17, 2016. During an argument, police reported, Sanford pushed and threw the victim to the ground. Sanford was given a court date of April 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

IVY TRAYLOR, 19, of 98 Waterville St., Waterbury, was charged April 21 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 21 at approximately 3:16 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Traylor and Toni Miller stole $235.91 worth of women’s clothes. Traylor was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

TONI MILLER, 35, of 98 Waterville St., Waterbury, was charged April 21 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 21 at approximately 3:16 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Miller and Ivy Traylor stole $235.91 worth of women’s clothes. Traylor was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

THOMAS DEMCHAK, 45, of 56 Woodland Park, Shelton, was charged April 21 with sixth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal trespass and breach of peace.

Police reported on April 21 at approximately 2:54 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Demchak was charged with the above listed charges. Demchak was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

EDUARDO HERNANDEZ, 38, of, 244 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged April 21 with risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 21 at approximately 6:58 p.m. an officer responded to 266 Prospect St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Hernandez pushed the victim who was holding her juvenile child. Hernandez was given a court date of April 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

CARI CHINOVA, 24, of 49 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged April 22 with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on April 22 at approximately 9:20 a.m. an officer responded to Anderson Street for a suspicious person. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Chinova was in possession of 0.04 ounces of heroin and a narcotic smoking pipe. Chinova was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

MICHAEL PAYNE, 30, of 367 High St., Naugatuck, was charged April 22 with first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 22 at approximately 11:50 p.m. an officer responded to Big Y for a larceny complaint. Police reported Payne stole $28.20 worth of groceries. Payne was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

NICHOLAS DANGELO, 28, of 45 Camp St., Oakville, was charged April 22 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 22 at approximately 11:24 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Dangelo was operating under the influence of alcohol. Dangelo was given a court date of May 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MILES BRIHIM, 19, of 231 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged April 23 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 23 at approximately 12:38 a.m. officers responded to 231 Meadow St. for a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Brihim punched the victim. Brihim was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

ANDREA GAGNON, 26, of 76 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 23 with driving under the influence and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on April 23 at approximately 1:12 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gagnon was operating under the influence of alcohol. Police reported on April 23 at approximately 2:45 a.m. Gagnon was released from custody. Police reported Gagnon became argumentative, disruptive and refused to leave the police department. Gagnon was given a court date of May 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

BENJAMIN DAY, 18, of 509 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged April 23 with risk of injury to child, third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 23 at approximately 3:15 p.m. an officer responded to Bridge Street for a robbery complaint. The victim was standing outside a store holding a $20 bill. Police reported Day walked up to the victim and took the $20 bill and ran from the area. Day was located on Meadow Street. Day was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

MICHAEL MINARDI, 56, of 111 Wooster St., Naugatuck, was charged April 23 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 23 at approximately 6:13 p.m. officers responded to 111 Wooster St. 1C for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Minardi pushed the victim. Minardi was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

MATTHEW SUMMA, 29, of 103 School St., Naugatuck, was charged April 23 with risk of injury to child, third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on April 23 at approximately 7:52 p.m. officers responded to Bridge Street for an assault. The victim was sitting in his vehicle with an adult female and a juvenile parked in the lot of D&D Liquor. Police reported Suma walked up the victim’s vehicle and punched him through an open car window. Renee Levesque, who was with Suma, began to yell profanities as they drove from the lot, police reported. Summa was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

RENEE LEVESQUE, 31, of 103 School St., Naugatuck, was charged April 23 with breach of peace.

Police reported on April 23 at approximately 7:52 p.m. officers responded to Bridge Street for an assault. The victim was sitting in his vehicle with an adult female and a juvenile parked in the lot of D&D Liquor. Police reported Matthew Suma walked up the victim’s vehicle and punched him through an open car window. Levesque, who was with Suma, began to yell profanities as they drove from the lot, police reported. Levesque was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

MICHAEL LEOGRANDE, 57, of 481 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged April 24 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 24 at approximately 12:27 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Meadow Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Leogrande was operating under the influence of alcohol. Leogrande was given a court date of May 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

HEATHER FORD, 25, of 575 South Main St., Naugatuck, was charged April 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 24 at approximately 11:47 a.m. Ford turned herself in on an active arrest warrant out of Bantam. Ford was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Bantam Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

MEGHAN DAVEY, 30, of 46 Lines Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged April 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 24 at approximately 11:54 a.m. Davey was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Meriden. Davey was given a court date of May 4 to appear at Meriden Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

JONATHON DINIS, 21, of 383 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 25 with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on April 25 at approximately 1:16 a.m. officers responded to 727 Rubber Ave. for a domestic disturbance between roommates. During an argument, police reported, Dinis struck one victim in the face causing swelling to the victim’s nose. Police reported Dinis also bit the second victim on the cheek causing a laceration. Dinis was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

RYAN SMITH, 42, of 38 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged April 25 with disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an emergency call and violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 25 at approximately 8:30 a.m. Smith was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Smith damaged a wall and a lamp in the home. When the victim called the police, Smith attempted to take the victim’s phone, police reported. Smith was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $50,000 surety bond.

CORY EMMONS, 21, of 42 Standish St., Enfield, was charged April 25 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 25 at approximately 1:53 a.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Emmons stole car speakers worth $35.46. Emmons was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.
