The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

PATRICIA BRENNAN, 52, of 7 Hemlock Road, Prospect, was charged March 13 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 13 at approximately 7:17 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a subject in custody for shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Brennan conceal items and exited the store without paying for them, police reported. Brennan was released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 24.

RYAN MARTIN, 20, of 16 Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged March 13 with breach of peace and second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on March 13 at approximately 1:13 p.m. officers responded to the Rubber Avenue Mobil Gas Station to investigate a disturbance. Police reported it was discovered, through the investigation, that Martin threw a rock through the window of a car during an argument with the victim, who was seated in the car along with passengers, one of which was injured from the damage. Martin was given a court date to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 23 and released on a $500 bond.

JOSHUA PETRO, 18, of 66 Park Ave., Watertown, was charged March 13 with breach of peace, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault.

Police reported on March 13 at approximately 1:13 p.m. officers responded to the Rubber Avenue Mobil Gas Station to investigate a disturbance. Police reported it was discovered, through the investigation, that Petro threw a rock through the window of a car during an argument with the victim, who was seated in the car along with passengers, one of which was injured from the damage. Petro was given a court date to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 23 and released on a $500 bond.

MONICA TELLADO, 36 of 253 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with interfering with an officer.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 2:42 p.m. Tellado was arrested on an active arrest warrant from regarding an incident in which Tellado assisted a subject in falsely identifying themselves to an officer during a traffic stop. Tellado was given a court date of March 23 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 bond.

MATTHEW DELBUONO, 18, of 46 Shelton Ave., Wolcott, was charged March 14 with third-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact with victim under age 16.

CYNTHIA WEST, 62, of 95 Coram Road, Shelton, was charged March 14 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 7:09 p.m. West was arrested on an active PRAWN warrant for failure to appear in court. West was given a court date of March 14 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

JAMES GOREL, 28, of 36 Old State Road, Oxford, was charged March 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 8:38 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle accident involving an over turned pick-up truck near 707 Rubber Ave. During the investigation, police reported, officers determined that Gorel was operating the vehicle impaired. Officers also determined that Gorel was operating the vehicle too fast for road conditions and failing to drive in the proper lane, police reported. Gorel was given a court date of March 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

BRANDON CURRY, 30, of 77 South Main St., Naugatuck, was charged March 15 with narcotics not in original container and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on March 15 at approximately 1:12 p.m. officers responded to 77 South Main St. on a suspicious person complaint. During the investigation, police reported, officers determined that Curry was impaired and found to be in possession of a container, containing narcotics. Curry was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 bond.

JOSHUA HABIB, 29, of 140 Oxford Way, Torrington, was charged March 15 with possession of controlled substance and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 15 at approximately 3:47 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported, loss prevention advised that they observed Habib conceal items and exited the store without paying for them. During the investigation, police reported, Habib was found to be in possession of narcotics. Habib was released on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 23.

PATRICIA NORTHROP, 27, of 538 Wilson St., Waterbury, was charged March 15 with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with an officer, criminal impersonation and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 15 at approximately 3:47 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Northrop conceal items and exited the store without paying for them. During the investigation, police reported, Northrop was found to be in possession of narcotics and provided officers with a false name. Northrop was released on $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 23.

MATTHEW TITUS, 26, of 100 Buckingham St., Oakville, was charged March 16 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 16 at approximately 1 a.m. officers responded to the area of North Church Street for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Titus struck a guardrail and rock wall, minor injuries were reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Titus was operating under the influence of alcohol. Titus was given a court date of March 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

KEVIN MORSE, 54, of 28 Coen Lane, Naugatuck, was charged March 16 with violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on March 16 at approximately 4:22 p.m. Morse was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Morse was given a court date of March 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

JOSEPH DOWNEY, 28, of 60 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged March 17 with disorderly conduct, second-degree unlawful restraint and second-degree assault.

Police reported on March 17 at approximately 2:50 a.m. an officer responded to a local hospital for a report of a domestic disturbance that originated in Naugatuck. The altercation was between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Downey held the victim down. Police reported Downey caused several lacerations to the victim’s arms, with what is believed to be a pocket knife. The weapon was not found during the investigation, police reported. Downey was given a court date of March 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

ISA REDZEPI, 28, of 28 Stueben St., Waterbury, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree failure to appear

Police reported Redzepi was found by Walmart to be illegally on store property after having previously banned by Walmart from entering their store. Redzepi was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court, police reported. Redzepi was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

PATRICK M’SADOQUES, 30, of 145 Cherry Ave., Watertown, was charged March 18 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 18 an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, M’sadoques was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. M’sadoques was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

JOSHUA DAVID WISE, 27, of 274 Andrews Road, Wolcott, was charged March 18 with violation of protective order, third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on March 18 at approximately 6:38 p.m. an officer responded to the lobby for a report of a past domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument in a vehicle, police reported, Wise struck the victim in her face. The altercation was determined to be in violation of a valid protective order. Wise was given a court date of March 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

JOAQUIM OLIVEIRA, 67, of 66 Trout Brook Drive, Naugatuck, was charged March 18 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 18 at approximately 7:48 p.m. officers responded to 66 Troutbrook Road for a domestic disturbance between father and son. During an argument, police reported, Oliveira punched the victim. Oliveira was given a court date of March 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MARIO SANTOS, 39, of 210 Clinton Road, Wolcott, was charged March 18 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 18 at approximately 8:48 p.m. Santos was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Santos was given a court date of March 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

FERNANDO NEGRON, 37, of 138 Char St., Waterbury, was charged March 19 with second-degree harassment.

Police reported on March 19 at approximately 12:34 a.m. Negron was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint reported on Sept. 10, 2013. Police reported Negron continued to call the victim after he was advised not to. Negron was given a court date of March 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,500 cash bond.

JOSE DOZIER, 27, of 58 Cook St., Waterbury, was charged March 19 with breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on March 19 at approximately 1:14 a.m. an officer responded to the area of 66 Church St. for a disturbance. Police reported Dozier threw a beer bottle out of a parked vehicle. When the officer approached Dozier, police reported, he was uncooperative and yelled profanities at the officer. Dozier was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

JAMES SMETHURST, 36, 240 Cherry Hill Drive, Bridgeport, was charged March 19 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 19 at approximately 9 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Smethurst was operating under the influence of alcohol. Smethurst was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

JACQUELINE SMETANA-RETKOWSKI, 41, of 491 North Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged March 19 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 19 at approximately 11:01 a.m. an officer responded to the area of North Church Street and Porter Avenue for a report of an erratic driver. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Smetana-Retkowski was operating under the influence of alcohol. Smetana-Retkowski was given a court date of March 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

PETER PINHO, 46, of 452 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged March 20 with breach of peace.

Police reported on March 20 at approximately 1:10 a.m. officers responded to Cook’s Cafe for an assault. The victim was involved in an argument with Peter Pinho, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Todd Boucino and Casey Wilcox punched the victim several times. Pinho was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

CASEY WILCOX, 46, of 17 George St., Naugatuck, was charged March 20 with breach of peace, third-degree assault, possession of controlled substance: narcotics and possession of controlled substance: less than 4 ounces of marijuana.

Police reported on March 20 at approximately 1:10 a.m. officers responded to Cook’s Cafe for an assault. The victim was involved in an argument with Peter Pinho, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Todd Boucino and Casey Wilcox punched the victim several times. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wilcox was in possession of 0.03 ounces of cocaine and 0.25 ounces of marijuana. Wilcox was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

TODD BOUCINO, 46, of 213 Columbia St., New Britain, was charged March 20 with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on March 20 at approximately 1:10 a.m. officers responded to Cook’s Cafe for an assault. The victim was involved in an argument with Peter Pinho, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Todd Boucino and Casey Wilcox punched the victim several times. Boucino was given a court date of March 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
