The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

RAMON PADRO, 35, of 708 Highland Ave., Waterbury, was charged with evading responsibility motor vehicle.

Police reported Padro was served an active arrest warrant charging him with an evading responsibility collision that occurred on Jan. 1, 2016 near 727 Rubber Ave. During that incident, police reported, Padro struck the back of another car and left the scene after initially stopping. Padro was processed and released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 17.

SABRINA PARKER, 19, of 144 Valley St., New Haven, was charged with second-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trover damage to motor vehicle.

Police reported Parker was served an active arrest warrant for charges stemming from an incident that occurred on July 13, 2015 in which Parker was involved in the theft of a motor vehicle from 26 Hillcrest Ave. Police reported Parker was processed and held on a $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 8.

TIMOTHY CHAPMAN, 24, of 22 Barnum Court, Naugatuck, was charged March 7 with misuse of 911.

Police reported on March 7 at approximately 12:45 a.m. officers responded to a 911 call coming from a cell phone caller who indicated they were at a local bar, upon a call back to the number but denied they had dialed 911. Officers responded to the bar and made contact with Chapman and found him to be intoxicated but determined there had not been an emergency. Chapman was taken home by officers and cautioned not to dial 911 unless there was an emergency, police reported. A short time later he called 911 two more times. Officers contacted him again and determined that there was not and emergency. During the interview, police reported, Chapman attempted to flee from officers and was arrested. Chapman was given a court date of March 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1000 non-surety bond.

ANDY MUCCINO, 40, of 122 Charles St. 3flr, Waterbury, was charged March 7 with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on March 7 at approximately 10:37 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 near Exit 29. During the investigation, police reported, Muccino was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Muccino was held on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 16.

RYAN HUFFMAN, 23, of 23 Applewood Lane, Naugatuck, was charged March 8 with breach of peace and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 8 at approximately 10:29 a.m. officers responded to 23 Applewood Lane for a domestic disturbance between mother and adult son. During the incident, police reported, the two became involved in an argument that led to Huffman punching walls in the home and a car at the home causing damage. Huffman was arrested and released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 9.

MEGHAN DAVEY, 29, of 192 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.

Police reported Davey was served an active arrest warrant charging her with burglary and larceny that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Feb. 21, 2016. Police reported a family member of Davey reported that she has taken items from their home. Davey was held on a $250 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 11.

DEVONTE PEREZ-QUILES, 21, of 76-3 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 9 with breach of peace.

Police reported on March 9 at approximately 12:44 a.m. officers responded to 99-8 Lantern Park Drive for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the incident, police reported, both parties advised that they had become involved in an argument that had turned physical. Perez-Quiles was given a court date of March 9 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

KYRA PADILLA, 20, of 76 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 9 with breach of peace.

Police reported on March 9 at approximately 12:44 a.m. officers responded to 99-8 Lantern Park Drive for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the incident, police reported, both parties advised that they had become involved in an argument that had turned physical. Padilla was given a court date of March 9 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

TAYLER GRANT, 19, of 122 High St., Naugatuck, was charged March 9 with illegal sale of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or daycare, use of drug paraphernalia, narcotics kept only in original container, conspiracy at sale of controlled substance and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 9 at approximately 11:30 a.m. an officer observed Grant hiding in a vehicle. Police reported Grant had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. Upon arresting the subject Grant was found to be in possession of narcotics, police reported. Grant was given a court date of March 23 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on a bond.

VANESSA ALVARADO, 19, of 122 High St., Naugatuck, was charged March 9 with sale of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or daycare, use of drug paraphernalia, prescription not in original container and conspiracy to commit sale controlled substance.

Police reported on March 9 at approximately 11:30 a.m. an officer observed a subject hiding in Alvarado’s vehicle. The subject hiding had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. Upon arresting the hiding subject, police reported, Alvarado was found to be in possession of narcotics. Alvarado was given a court date of March 23 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 bond.

TINA ZIMMERMAN, 47, of 54 High St., Naugatuck, was charged March 9 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 9 at approximately 5:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of two subjects in custody for shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Zimmerman shoplift items and detained them, police reported. Zimmerman was given a court date of March 23 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

JAMES ZIMMERMAN JR., 42, of 54 High St., Naugatuck, was charged March 9 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 9 at approximately 5:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of two subjects in custody for shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed Zimmerman shoplift items and detained them, police reported. Zimmerman was given a court date of March 23 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

RYAN SMITH, 42, of 38 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged March 9 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on March 9 at approximately 8:19 pm. officers responded to 38 Cherry St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the incident, police reported, Smith was found to be in violation of a standing protective order. Smith was held on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 10.

CHRISTOPHER SILVA-HICKS, 19, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged March 10 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 10 at approximately 8:53 a.m. Silva-Hicks was arrested on an active PRAWN arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. Silva-Hicks was given a court date of March 10 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 bond.

DEREK OSTUNI, 36, of 185 Melbourne St., Naugatuck, was charged March 10 with third-degree larceny and failure to submit to fingerprinting.

Police reported on March 10 at 1:37 p.m. Naugatuck officers were dispatched to New Haven Road on a report of a suspicious person. Police reported Ostuni was observed removing a registration plate from a vehicle and throwing it in a trash can. The caller described the subject and stated he was walking away on New Haven Road. Police reported Ostuni was located and a check of the vehicle showed it had been stolen from Bristol. Ostuni was arrested and upon being booked he refused to be fingerprinted, police reported. Ostuni was held on a $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 11.

GILLIAN WESTPHAL, 18, of 883 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 10 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on March 10 at approximately 9:20 p.m. officers responded to 883 Rubber Ave. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the incident, police reported, both parties advised that they had become involved in an argument that had turned physical. Westphal was given a court date of March 11 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

THOMAS SPRINGER, 21, of 883 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 10 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 10 at approximately 9:20 p.m. officers responded to 883 Rubber Ave. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the incident, police reported, both parties advised that they had become involved in an argument that had turned physical. Springer was given a court date of March 11 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ANDREW T. CURRAN, 48, of 1158 Bank St., Waterbury, was charged March 10 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 10 at approximately 9:54 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Curran was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Curran was given a court date of March 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a bond.

MARC BATTIS, 26, of 94 Highland Ave., Beacon Falls, was charged March 11 with criminal impersonation, third-degree hindering prosecution and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 11 at about 3:16 p.m. Battis was observed shoplifting from the Big Y store on Bridge Street. Upon being detained he provided a false name to store employees and the officer, police reported. Upon processing, police reported, he was found to have an outstanding PRAWN arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. Battis was held on bond and given a court date of March 23 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

DAVID SWIRBITOWICZ, 56, of 555 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged March 11 with threatening and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 11 at approximately 4:49 p.m. officers responded to 555 North Main St. to investigate a domestic disturbance between roommates. It was discovered through the investigation, police reported, that Swirbitowicz threatened his roommate during the incident. Swirbitowicz was given a court date to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 14 and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

DANIEL PERRELLI, 36, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with second-degree failure to appear and violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on March 11 at approximately 9:13 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active PRAWN arrest warrant for failing to appear in court and an active arrest warrant for violation of probation. Perrelli was given a court date of March 14 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court and held on a bond.

CHRISTINA GILDEA, 32, of 137 Ruela Drive, Naugatuck, was charged March 12 with three counts of second-degree failure to appear and criminal impersonation.

Police reported on March 12 Gildea was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, Gildea provided the officer with a false name. Police reported Gildea was arrested on several outstanding warrants and the violation of criminal impersonation. Gildea was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 23.

MICHAEL KIERNAN, 54, of 11 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged March 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 12 at approximately 12:55 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. Police reported Kiernan was observed to be driving erratically and observed driving out of the lane of travel. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Kiernan was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Kiernan was given a court date of March 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

STEPHANIE GIBSON, 36, of 879 Cooke St., Waterbury was charged March 12 with disorderly conduct and driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 12 officers responded to City Brook Road on a report of subjects fighting in the roadway. The investigation found that Gibson had been fighting with another subject while she was driving, which then led to a further altercation on City Brook Road, police reported. Gibson was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated, police reported. She was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 23.

KURTIS LEE VITKOVSKY, 21, of 79 Woodside Court, Watertown, was charged March 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 12 at approximately 2:31 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road. Police reported Vitkovsky was observed to be pulled to the side of the road vomiting while seated in the driver’s seat of the car. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Vitkovsky was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Vitkovsky was given a court date of March 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

NICHELINA REGALADO, 27, of 13 Highland Circle, Naugatuck, was charged March 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 12 at approximately 2:53 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Cliff Street. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Regalado was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Regalado was given a court date of March 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

DAVID H. ADAMSON JR., 48, of 266 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged March 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 12 at approximately 7:40 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue near Church Street. Police reported Adamson was observed to be driving erratically and observed driving out of the lane of travel. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Adamson was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Adamson was given a court date of March 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JONATHAN MALIA, 21, of 52 Great Ring Road, Sandy Hook, was charged March 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 13 at approximately 12:51 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. Police reported Malia was observed to be driving at a speed determined to be well over the posted speed limit. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Malia was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Malia was given a court date of March 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

LEVI REYNOLDS, 23, of 346 Quassapaug Road, Woodbury, was charged March 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 13 at approximately 12:55 an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. Police reported Reynolds was observed to be driving at a speed determined to be well over the posted speed limit. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Reynolds was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Reynolds was given a court date of March 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MANUEL PIPA, 31, of 100 Manners Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 13 at approximately 1:37 an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Pipa was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Pipa was given a court date of March 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.
