Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Armin Ahmetovic, 25, of 120 Celia Drive, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 22 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 22 at approximately 5:25 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Maple Street. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused was in violation of a protective order by being with the victim. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 22.

Jason T. Wallace, 28, of 20 Debbie Circle, Colchester, was charged Nov. 22 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 22 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $150 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 4.

Todd Christopher Wilcoxson, 40, of 565 Chickadee Lane, Stratford, was charged Nov. 22 with issuing a bad check over $2,000.

Police reported on Nov. 22 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused presented a bad check over $2,000 on or about Oct. 30, 2019 to the victim. The accused was later released on a $2,500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 4.

Kayla Danielle Vega, 25, of 211 Caroline St., Derby, was charged Nov. 22 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 22 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject, with an accomplice, conceal merchandise totaling over $241.36 and exit the store without paying for the 36 items. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 4.

Kla Lee Rogers, 21, of 73 Brookfield St., Seymour, was charged Nov. 22 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 22 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Shaun Michael Daigle, 29, of 33 Fairchild St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 23 with third-degree assault, first-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 23 at approximately 2:04 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. During the incident, police reported, three subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical. Police reported one victim advised that the accused grabbed him by the neck and pushed and shoved him several times causing visible injuries to the victim. Police reported officers also determined that the incident occurred with a small child present. Police reported the accused assaulted multiple victims. The accused was released on a $1000 non-surety bond and given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Jose Pinto, 53, was charged Nov. 23 with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Nov. 23 officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During the incident, police reported, the victim and the accused stated they became involved in an argument that escalated. Police reported there was also a juvenile present that was pushed by the accused during the argument. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 25.

Dazmin Marie Aguilar, 27, of 129 Aetna St. Apt. 1, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 24 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $150 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Jose Antonio Ruiz, 24, of 50 Valentino Drive, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 25 with interfering with an officer/resisting and reckless driving.

Police reported on Nov. 25 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident that occurred on Oct. 18, 2019 where the accused refused to cooperate with the officers on scene. Police reported the accused recklessly fled the scene while operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. The accused was released on $5,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 4.

Antonio Trusty, 31, of 276 Union Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Nov. 25 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 25 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant while in custody at Waterbury Superior Court. Police reported the warrant was from a larceny incident that occurred on June 13, 2019 where the accused stole merchandise valued at less than $500 from Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road. The accused was held to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 25.

Mario G. Carvalho, 62, of 90 Trowbridge Place, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 25 with six counts of failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Nov. 25 the accused was arrested on an active failure to respond to an infraction arrest warrant. The accused was held on cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 26.

John Michael O’Shea, 20, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 26 with failure to respond to infraction and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 26 the accused was arrested on active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants and an active failure to respond to an infraction arrest warrant. The accused was held on cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 26.

Nijele Jainerain, 28, of 36 Mayberry Circle, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 26 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 26 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from a domestic incident where the accused assaulted the victim while at 66 Church restaurant and bar. The accused was held on a $2,500 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 26.

Rony Chomo-Chup, 19, of 105 Pulaski St., Torrington, was charged Nov. 26 with interfering with an officer, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Nov. 26 at approximately 3:52 p.m. an officer was on proactive patrol in the area of Galpin Street and Highland Avenue by Seth Drive. Police reported the officer stated he stopped in that area due to his cruiser being hit with debris falling from the sky. The debris was coming from the roof of 99 Galpin St. As the officer exited his vehicle, police reported, he could immediately see roof debris on other vehicles, in the roadway, and in other residents’ yards. The road was not closed at this time, police reported. This debris consisted of unsafe material including nails, roof shingles and wood. Upon further investigation, police reported, the officer saw the crew was not working with any safety equipment and that the area was not properly marked for pedestrian traffic or for vehicles. The officer then spoke with the accused. Police reported the accused tried to give the wrong name after initially talking to the officer. Police reported the officer then took the accused into custody for the listed charges to be transported to the station for processing. The accused was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Diane Lucas Lopes, 36, of 90 New St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 26 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 26 at approximately 08:19 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused slapped the victim in the face. The accused was released on promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 27.

Danielle Marie Jeudy, 43, of 120 Morning Mist Road, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 27 with risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Nov. 27 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused left her child unattended and in the care of another younger child who is close in age. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 29.

Arcadio Martinez, 46, of 179 Willow St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 27 with sixth-degree larceny.

Jahaira Mangual, 34, of 50 Lounsbury St. A1, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 28 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 28 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Abdurraheem C. Holloway, 36, of 49 Union Ave. Apt. 808, New Haven, was charged Nov. 28 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 28 at approximately 8:31 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused pushed the victim causing her glasses to be broken. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 29.

Ashley D. James, 30, of 82 Greenwood St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 28 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 28 at approximately 8:31 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused threw a pot of food on the victim. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 29.

Mariah Laticia Miles, 27, of 68 Anderson St. Apt. 1R, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 29 with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Nov. 29 at approximately 4:45 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused scratched the victim’s face. The accused was held on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 29.

Joseph Robert Cappuccetti, 30, of 95 Wolcott Road, Wolcott, was charged Nov. 29 with possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of violation of probation.

Police reported on Nov. 29 at approximately 5:31 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Route 8 North at the Exit 29 on-ramp. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police reported the accused also had three arrest warrants for probation violations. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Jazmin Janaris Rivera, 25, of 39 Bergin Circle Apt. 1, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 29 with sixth-degree larceny.

Bruce A. Clark, 35, of 37 School St. Apt. A, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 29 with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Nov. 29 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported the accused concealed merchandise from the store with a value less than $500 total. The accused was also charged with trespassing. The accused was released on $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 18.

Titus Ross, 26, of 48 Ives St. Apt. 2, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 30 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 30 at approximately 8:15 p.m. officers responded to the area of High Street by Orchard Street for a motor vehicle accident. Upon further investigation, police reported, it was found that the accused was in violation of a standing protective order by using the victim’s vehicle, being with the victim, and for calling the victim. Police reported the accused also operated the motor vehicle with a suspended license. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 2.

Patricia Ann Pring, 48, of 165 South St., Danbury, was charged Dec. 1 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Dec. 1 at approximately 12:50 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 716 New Haven Road after being dispatched to the area for a suspicious motor vehicle complaint. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Sandra L. Norton, 46, of 27 Sherwood Drive, Prospect, was charged Nov. 24 with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault.
