Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Tyrone Mott Higgs, 36, of 187 Plaza Ave., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 21 with fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 21 the accused was served an active arrest warrant from the Naugatuck Police Department. The larceny was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on July 24, 2018, police reported. Police reported Walmart loss prevention reported their employee for the theft totaling approximately $977, which included the theft of Apple watches and IPads. The accused was held on a $2,500 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 22.

Allan Matthew Marin, 27, of 901 Bank St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 21 with criminal impersonation and sale of controlled substance.

Police reported on Oct. 21 at approximately 4:30 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Route 8 South by Exit 26. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating an unregistered motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police reported the accused was also found in possession of a controlled substance along with paraphernalia which was consistent with packaging for sale. Police reported the accused also interfered with the officer’s investigation by giving the wrong name. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 30.

Wendy A. Wilson, 45, of 31 Ridge Road Apt. 2, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 21 approximately 5:02 p.m. officers were dispatched to 31-1 Ridge Road to investigate a dispute between neighbors. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, it was found that the accused had caused a disturbance and entered a residence without permission. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 30.

Ryan Hank Klies, 26, of 29 Warren Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 21 with two counts of violation of probation.

Police reported on Oct. 21 the accused was arrested on two probation violations. The accused was released on surety bond and scheduled to appear at Derby Superior Court on Oct. 30.

Dayanara Vazquez-Aviles, 26, of 71 South St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 21 with failure to respond to payable violation and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 21 at approximately 9:36 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active failure to respond to an infraction arrest warrant and active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Oct. 30 and Milford Superior Court on Oct. 31.

Samantha Cather Bombardier, 26, of 860 Main St. Apt. 405, East Hartford, was charged Oct. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 22 at approximately 2:10 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant stemmed from a larceny incident that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on April 29, 2018. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 6.

Husani Jahmal-Elijah Foote, 24, of 96 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 22 with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Oct. 22 at approximately 2:56 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Oct. 14, 2109. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 23.

Matthew Tavares, 22, of 42 Gunntown Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 22 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 22 at approximately 8:29 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Oct. 7, 2019. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 23.

William Sanders, 35, of 933 Rubber Ave. Apt. O, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 23 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 23 the accused was served an active arrest warrant from the Naugatuck Police Department while in custody at Waterbury Superior Court. The incident was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Jan. 23, 2019. The accused was held and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 23.

David Hall, 29, of 13 W Porter St., Waterbury, was charged Oct. 23 with four counts of sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Oct. 23 the accused was served an active arrest warrant from the Naugatuck Police Department while in custody at Waterbury Superior Court. The larcenies were reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Oct. 1, 2019, Oct. 3, 2019, Oct. 8, 2019 and Sept. 29, 2019. The accused was held and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 23.

Tyree Williams, 25, of 49 John St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 23 with second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault and intentional cruelty to persons.

Police reported on Oct. 23 the accused was served an active arrest warrant from the Naugatuck Police Department while in custody at Waterbury Superior Court. The domestic incident was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Oct. 5, 2019. The accused was held and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 23.

Cameron David Eccles, 39, of 40 High Rock Road, Groton, was charged Oct. 23 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 23 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 6.

Lijie Zheng, 52, of 83-85 Sisson Ave., Hartford, was charged Oct. 23 with second-degree promoting prostitution and permitting prostitution.

Marlene Lynn Hemingway, 55, of 53 Conrad St. Apt. 5A, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 23 with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Oct. 23 at approximately 9:36 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Route 8 South at Exit 28. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court at a later date.

Tyler Shane Larowe, 25, of 166 Meadow St. Apt. 3S, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 23 with second-degree harassment and first-degree threatening.

Police reported on Oct. 23 at approximately 6 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The incident was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Aug. 17, 2019. The accused was held on a $25,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury
Superior Court on Oct. 24.

Jessica L. Byron, 38, of 462 Broad St., Bristol, was charged Oct. 23 with first-degree failure to appear and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 23 the accused was arrested on active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants. The accused was held on surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 24.

Kun Liu, 50, of 14328 Cherry Ave. Apt. 1A, Flushing, N.Y., was charged Oct. 23 with prostitution person 16 or over and conspiracy to commit prostitution person 16 or over.

James Shelton, 28, of 53 Conrad St. Apt. C, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 23 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Oct. 23 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $500 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 24.

Westley Crilly, 32, of 99 Railroad Ave., Beacon Falls, was charged Oct. 25 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Oct. 25 the accused was arrested on a probation violation. The accused was released on a $25,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 8.

Amberrose M. Alberto, 28, of 85 Beebe St., Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 2:29 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Bride Street and North Church Street. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 6.

Stacy Ayotte, 35, of 88 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with third-degree assault, risk of injury to child and second-degree reckless endangerment.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 3:05 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical. The accused was released on $50,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 28.

Sharon M. Velardi, 49, of 15 Montoya Drive, Branford, was charged Oct. 26 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis and conspiracy to commit sale of certain illegal drugs.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 4:58 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 800 New Haven Road where the accused was the driver of the vehicle. Police reported the officer witnessed a hand-to-hand transaction during the sale of an illegal drug, and the accused was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court at a later date.

Stafford Jonas, 27, of 30 Vail St. Apt. 1, Waterbury, was charged Oct. 26 with sale of certain illegal drugs, possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis and conspiracy to commit sale of certain illegal drugs.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 4:58 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 800 New Haven Road where the accused was a passenger in the vehicle. Police reported the officer witnessed a hand-to-hand transaction during the sale of an illegal drug, and the accused was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on a $25,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court at a later date.

Lisa Ramona Rillstone, 56, of 23 Hilltop Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 26 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 6:50 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical. The accused was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 28.

Brian D. Musbek, 27, of 10 Lane St., Seymour, was charged Oct. 26 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Oct. 26 at approximately 11:55 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 25 Cherry St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs while failing to drive in the proper lane. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court Nov. 6.

Scott A. Dennis, 29, of 98 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 27 with first-degree failure to appear, fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.

Police reported on Oct. 27 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. Police reported the accused was also arrested on an active arrest warrant from an incident that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Sept. 24, 2019. The accused was held on surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 28.

Miranda Lynn Agosto, 26, of 98 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged Oct. 27 with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.

Police reported on Oct. 27 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant from an incident that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Sept. 24, 2019. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 6.
