Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Jonathan Ulysses Miller, 34, of 102 Spring St. Apt. 6, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 13 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Sept. 13 at approximately 8:55 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 282 South Main St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on a non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 26.

Jennifer Johnson, 44, of 1395 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 14 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 14 at approximately 12:50 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated according to the victim. Police reported the victim stated the accused broke a door and threw things about the apartment. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 16.

Frank Rose, 27, of 23 Woodbine St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 14 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 14 at approximately 11:20 p.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Motor Lodge, 732 New Haven Road, for a complaint. While conducting a check, police reported, officers came upon the accused in a room in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was also arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 25.

Tyler Larowe, 24, of 166 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 14 with illegal possession of narcotic.

Police reported on Sept. 14 at approximately 11:20 p.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Motor Lodge, 732 New Haven Road, for a complaint. While conducting a check, police reported, officers came upon the accused in a room in possession of an illegal narcotic. Police reported the accused was taken in custody for illegal possession of a narcotic. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 25.

Daniel Grant Johnson, 28, of 471 Spring St. Apt. B, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 15 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Sept. 15 at approximately 2:09 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 66 Church St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 26.

Nyasia Shell, 20, of 138 Chipper Road, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 15 with evading responsibility-injury/property damage.

Police reported on Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of 92 Celentano Drive for a reported evading accident. According to witnesses, police reported, it was reported that a vehicle had struck another vehicle, the accused exited the vehicle to check the damage, and then the accused left the scene without speaking to anyone. Police reported the officer’s investigation concluded that the accused was found to be the operator that left the scene of this motor vehicle accident. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 26.

Michael Healy Sr., 61, of 140 Washington St., Norwich, was charged Sept. 16 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 16 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 25.

Terrance T. Johnson, 33, of 37 Middlesex St., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 17 with second-degree failure to appear and possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on Sept. 17 at approximately 10:50 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street by Golden Court. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of a controlled substance while failing to use a turn signal to turn left. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2. Police reported the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $3,500.00 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Oct. 3.

Kristoffer W. Aregood, 39, of 3601 Winsted Road Apt. 10, Torrington, was charged Sept. 18 with criminal liability for acts of another/sixth-degree larceny and illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension-alcohol.

Police reported on Sept. 18 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant while in custody at Waterbury Superior Court. The warrant was from an incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on Aug. 16, 2019. The accused was held to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 19.

Angel Muniz, 53, of 933 Rubber Ave. 4K, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 18 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Sept. 18 the accused was arrested on an active failure to respond to an infraction arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $92 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2.

Joseph Guerrera, 47, of 817 Woodtick Road B7, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 19 with fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 19 the accused was arrested on a valid arrest warrant while in custody at Waterbury Superior Court. The incident was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Aug. 26, 2019. Police reported the incident involved the accused shoplifting at the Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $513.92 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was held and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 18.

Katana Rachel Rascoe, 20, of 236 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 19 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 10 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused grabbed the victim during the argument. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 20

John L. Oppedisano, 27, of 236 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 19 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 10 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused punched the victim during the argument. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 20.

Jacquelyn Digregorio, 28, of 16 Parkview St., Meriden, was charged Sept. 19 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Sept. 19 at approximately 7:19 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused pushed the victim. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 20.

Linda Synott, 60, of 72 New St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 20 with third-degree identity theft and fourth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 20 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from an identity theft and larceny incident that was reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on Feb. 11, 2019. The accused was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 3.

Jeremy Kalish, 37, of 102 Village Drive, Torrington, was charged Sept. 20 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on Sept. 20 at approximately 5:35 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 248 South Main St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and while in the possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2.

Jesse Wilkinson, 32, of 358 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 20 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on Sept. 20 officers were in the area of the Eleven Bar, 175 Rubber Ave., for proactive patrol. Police reported officers came upon an individual in a vehicle who after the officer’s investigation was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2.

William A. Mackin, 36, of 151 Andrew Ave. Apt. 26, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 20 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on Sept. 20 officers were in the area of the Eleven Bar, 175 Rubber Ave., for proactive patrol. Police reported officers came upon an individual in a vehicle who after the officer’s investigation was found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2.

Erik Anthony DeSousa, 25, of 56 Tower Road, Middlebury, was charged Sept. 21 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Police reported on Sept. 21 at approximately 1:18 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Church Street and Rubber Avenue. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, without minimum insurance, with an improper marker, and while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 3.

Jaslin Milta Martinez, 35, of 309 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 21 with assault of public safety or emergency medical personnel and criminal attempt at assault of public safety or emergency medical personnel.

Police reported on Sept. 21 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident where the accused assaulted an EMS worker while on a fire call. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond to appear in
Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2.

Denise Marie Camacho, 30, of 933 Rubber Ave. Apt. 4K, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 22 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 22 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 2.
