Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:
Noah T. Dunn, 37, of 116 Trowbridge Place, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 12 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on Aug. 12 at 6:45 a.m. the accused turned himself into the police department on active PRAWN arrest warrants for failing to appear in court. The accused was held on surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 12.
Augustine Ohenhen, 32, of 933 Rubber Ave. 9M, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 12 with sexual assault in spousal or cohabiting relationship, first-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Aug. 12 at about 9 a.m. the accused was processed while at Waterbury Superior Court on an active arrest warrant for the listed charges stemming from a domestic sexual assault reported on July 13, 2019. Police reported the accused had sexual intercourse with the female victim against her will and also physically assaulted her during the incident. The accused was held at court for a same day arraignment on a $150,000 bond.
Dominika Dobkowska, 23 of 25 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 12 with sale of controlled substance, sale of certain illegal drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.
Police reported on Aug. 12 at 6:22 p.m. officers conducted a motor vehicle stop of the accused on Old Firehouse Road for using a cell phone while driving. Through officers investigation, police reported, it was determined the accused was in possession of multiple drugs, drug paraphernalia and a large quantity of cash. At the time of this press release the officer’s report was not completed. The accused was released after posting a $10,000 surety bond and assigned a court date of Aug 28 at Waterbury Superior Court.
Aja Leneshia Shaw, 28, of 49 Golden Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 12 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Aug. 12 at 10:08 p.m. officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Naugatuck. Police reported the accused was involved in a verbal argument with the male victim that turned physical. Police reported the accused reportedly pushed and scratched the male victim and also threw a laptop at his face causing minor injury. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond with a court date of Aug. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
Chris Gale Clark, 39, of 935 South Main St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 13 with failure to respond to payable violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police reported on Aug. 13 at 1:07 a.m. officers were dispatched to Cumberland Farms at 69 Rubber Ave. for multiple persons harassing other customers for money. Police reported the accused was identified as one of the persons harassing customers and was determined to have an active PRAWN arrest warrant for failing to respond to an infraction. Police reported officers discovered drug paraphernalia on the accused in a subsequent search of his person. The accused was held on bond with a court date of Aug. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
Victoria Ashley Stackhouse, 32, of 241 River St., Southington, was charged Aug. 13 with sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police reported on Aug. 13 at 2:30 a.m. an officer observed the accused and companions drive into the Wal-Mart parking lot. Police reported the officer knew the occupants of the vehicle had no money and were trying to obtain bond money for their friend currently being held at the Naugatuck Police Department. Police reported the officer later observed the accused hastily walking out of Wal-Mart with two bags of merchandise. Police reported the officer made contact with the accused, who admitted to stealing energy drinks which amounted to over $116 and had planned on selling the merchandise for bond money. Police reported the accused was also found to have drug paraphernalia on her person. The accused was held on a $500 surety bond and assigned a court date of Aug. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
Benny Joel Torres, 23, of 256 Plank Road, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 13 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on Aug. 13 at 9 a.m. the accused turned himself in to the police department on an active PRAWN arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. The accused was released on a court-set $250 cash bond and assigned a court date of Aug. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
Pierre Lamour Pierre, 28, of 100 Galpin St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 13 with carrying pistol without a permit, illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle and illegal possession of large capacity magazine.
Police reported on Aug. 13 at 11:33 a.m. officers were dispatched to a residence in Naugatuck for a domestic argument. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the accused had a pistol with a 15-round capacity magazine in his vehicle and did not have a pistol permit. The accused was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and assigned a court date of Aug. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
Stephon Hyman, 25, of 37 Lexington Ave., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 16 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Aug. 16 officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Naugatuck. During the incident, police reported, both subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when the accused pushed the victim. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury
Superior Court on Aug. 19.
Ryan Thompson, 24, of 3 Irene Road, Patterson, N.Y., was charged Aug. 16 with risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Aug. 16 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on July 30, 2019. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury
Superior Court on Aug. 19.
Brian Alan Drapeau, 22, of 91 Locust St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 17 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
Police reported on Aug. 16 at approximately 11:47 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Old Firehouse Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and or drugs while making an unsafe movement from a stopped position. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 28.
Karl Johansen, 24, of 18 Brook St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 17 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
Police reported on Aug. 17 at approximately 12:11 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Cumberland Farms, 527 North Main St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 28.
Arthur Lee Witherspoon, 29, of 12 Lester St. 2Fl., Ansonia, was charged Aug. 17 with disorderly conduct and violation or protective order.
Police reported on Aug. 17 at approximately 10:47 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated when, according to the victim, the accused ripped the mirror off of her vehicle. Police reported the accused was also in violation of a standing protective order, harassing the victim. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 19.
Brian Boucher, 34, of 16 Deering Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on Aug. 18 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a larceny incident reported to the Naugatuck Police Department on April 9, 2019. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 5.
Anthony Tito Lopez Jr., 18, of 265 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on Aug. 18 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from an incident that occurred at the local high school that was reported on April 10, 2019. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior
Court on Sept. 5.
Joseph Nicholas Coppola, 42, of 33 Forest St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on Aug. 18 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $150 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 28.
Roger Houseknecht, 64, of 18 Barnum Court Apt. 2C, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 18 with conspiracy to commit second-degree breach of peace.
Police reported on Aug. 18 the accused was arrested on the above listed charges. The arrest report was not available regarding this arrest when the logs were released. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Aug. 28.
