Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Deon Lamont Green, 43, of 50 Round Tree Drive Apt. 3, Naugatuck, was charged July 9 with second-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on July 9 at approximately 3:11 a.m. officers responded to a call for assistance in the Lantern Park area. Police reported the victim stated that the accused was going through his vehicle and taking items. The victim stated he knew the accused and yelled at him causing him to flee the scene. Police reported officers made contact with the accused sometime later and took him into custody. The accused released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.

Gary Lukosevage, 46, of 148 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged July 9 with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer/resisting and second-degree forgery.

Police reported on July 9 at approximately 3:10 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 85 Bridge St. Police reported the accused initially gave the wrong identifying information to interfere with the officer’s investigation. Police reported the accused’s real name showed he had a suspended license at the time of the stop. Police reported the accused stated he gave and signed another name to avoid a suspended license charge. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 17.

David Carl Jackson, 46, of 96 Elmwood Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 9 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 9 the accused was arrested on active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 10.

Kelly Lynn Adams, 50, of 51 Main St Apt. 310, Danbury, was charged July 9 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 9 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused held on a 4150 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 10.

Arthur Lee Witherspoon, 29, of 12 Lester St. 2nd Floor, Ansonia, was charged July 10 with violation or protective order.

Police reported on July 10 at approximately 3:56 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a reported domestic dispute. Police reported it was determined that the two became involved in a verbal altercation. Police reported it was also determined that the accused was in violation of a standing protective order. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 11.

Jonathan Robert Syman, 22, of 2 Harvest Lane, Naugatuck, was charged July 10 with interfering with an officer.

Police reported on July 10 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on June 26, 2019 in which the accused gave officers false information to impede their investigation. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.

Edwin Ayala, 38, of no certain address, was charged July 10 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 10 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on a $3,500 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 11.

Kyle T. Dojnia, 28, of 94 Irving St., Naugatuck, was charged July 10 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on July 10 at approximately 10:39 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance between the accused and a female victim. During the incident, police reported, the accused caused injury to the victim while the victim was trying to keep the accused out of the residence. Police reported the accused was highly intoxicated when officers arrived. The accused was given a court date of July 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Edward Michael Wither, 59, of 170 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged July 11 with interfering with an emergency call, disorderly conduct, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief and first-degree criminal attempt/assault.

Police reported on July 11 at approximately 4:55 p.m. officers responded to 170 Cherry St. for a disturbance between roommates. During the incident, police reported, the victim advised that the accused started arguing with the victim over the bills. Police reported the accused started throwing things about the victim’s bedroom. The accused then pressed a knife to the victim’s throat, in the presence of a witness, while he was on a 911 call, police reported. The accused then took the cellphone from the victim’s hand and threw the cellphone across the room. Police reported the victim then ran outside with the witness and waited for police. The accused was held on a $100,000 Surety Bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 12.

Lisa Bara, 27, of 47 Lounsbury St., Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on July 12 at approximately 2:30 a.m. officers responded to residence for a domestic disturbance. During the incident, police reported, the victim advised that the accused slapped him in the face and then pushed him. Police reported the accused was highly intoxicated at the time of the officers’ arrival. The accused was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 12.

Cheyenne Elizabeth Lowe, 24, of 69 New St., Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with evading responsibility.

Police reported on July 12 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from an evading a motor vehicle accident complaint that was reported to Naugatuck police on June 17, 2019 in which the accused left the scene of an accident. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.

Husani Jammal-Elijah Foote, 24, of 96 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged July 12 with possession with intent to sell and possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis.

Police reported on July 12 at approximately 8:02 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 90 Aetna St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of marijuana with an intent to sell along with additional motor vehicle violations. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.

Anthony Napomiceno, 40, of 74 Addison St., Waterbury, was charged July 13 with first-degree failure to appear and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 13 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $49.96 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported the accused was also arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 18.

Benjamin Romero, 33, of 3 Sorrel Road, Waterbury, was charged July 13 with evading responsibility.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 5:15 a.m. officers responded to the area of 246 Maple Hill Road for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported the accused drove over a lawn, struck some bushes, hit a cement wall, and then fled the area on foot. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the officer located the accused back at his residence with minor injuries. The accident was also witnessed by neighbors in the area. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 25.

Augustine Ohenhen, 31, of 933 Rubber Ave. 9m, Naugatuck, was charged July 13 with second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and violation of protective order.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 9:14 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused struck the victim several times. Police reported the accused was in violation of a standing protective order by being at the residence and by threatening the victim. The accused was held on a $50,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 15.

Joseph Roland Baribault, 32, of 240 Falls Ave., Oakville, was charged July 13 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and reckless driving.

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 4:54 p.m. officers responded to the Rubber Avenue and Crofut Road area on a report of an erratic driver. During the investigation, police reported, officers located the described vehicle crashed into a concrete wall. Police reported officers determined that the accused was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs while recklessly operating a motor vehicle. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 17.

Marcia E. Hayles, 63, of 1803 Edenwald Ave., Bronx, N.Y., was charged July 13 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 13 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $121.03 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.

Carlyn Nash, 35, of 198 Frost Road, Waterbury, was charged July 13 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 13 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.

Tiffany M. Whitney, 33, of 13 Drummers Lane, Bethel, was charged July 13 with violation of probation.

Police reported on July 13 the accused was arrested on a probation violation. The accused was held on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on July 15.

Frederick Schilkowski, 38, of 111 Mallane Lane Apt. 13A, Naugatuck, was charged July 13 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence (second offense).

Police reported on July 13 at approximately 11:33 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 211 Spring St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs while failing to drive in the proper lane. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.

Jose Miguel Sanchez, 20, of 112 Edna Ave., Bridgeport, was charged July 14 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on July 14 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $150 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24.
