Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Tyrell Gore, 30, of 933 Rubber Ave. Apt. G, Naugatuck, was charged July 1 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 1 at approximately 11:21 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused was intoxicated. Police reported the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated. Police reported the accused was locked outside of the residence due to his behavior by the victim. Police reported the accused then broke a window and was throwing things around the house. The victim then called Naugatuck Police Department for assistance. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 2.

Matthew J. Demers, 33, of 70 Olive St. Apt. 3, Naugatuck, was charged July 1 with risk of injury to child and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 1 at approximately 8:17 p.m. officers responded to the area of Olive Street for unsupervised juveniles playing near the roadway. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused had left the young juveniles unattended outside of the residence for a long period of time and that this was not the first time. The accused also had a warrant for his arrest, police reported. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 2.

Tymon Peterson, 29, of 65 Corn Tassle Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 1 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Police reported on July 1 at approximately 10:08 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Maple Hill Road and May Street. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. The accused was given a court date of July 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Michael Eugene Testone, 25, of 549 Salem Boulevard, Berwick, Pa., was charged July 2 with three counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 2 the accused was arrested on active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrants. The accused was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 3.

Marcos Alvira Gonzalez, 24, of 150 Manhan St., Waterbury, was charged July 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 2 at 4:17 p.m. officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart, 1100 New Haven Road, on the report of shoplifting. The arrest report was not available. The accused was released and given a court date of July 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Sally Lynn Pruitt, 49, of 73 Fleetwood Drive, Waterbury, was charged July 2 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence or alcohol/drugs and reckless driving.

Police reported on July 2 at 4:27 p.m. an officer observed the accused’s vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on May Street facing the wrong direction. Police reported the accused had front end damage to her vehicle and two flat tires. Upon further investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court date on July 17.

Vivian Andrade, 35, of 169 Rubber Ave. 2Fl., Naugatuck, was charged July 2 with two counts of failure to appear.

Police reported on July 2 at approximately 9:09 p.m. the accused was pulled over on Bridge Street and determined to have two active arrest warrants for second-degree failure to appear. The accused was released after posting bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on July 17.

Rasheen Jamar Moore, 33, of 55 Green St., Waterbury, was charged July 3 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on July 3 the accused was stopped on Route 8 for motor vehicle offenses. Police reported the accused was found to have an active PRAWN arrest warrant. The accused was released after posting a court-set $150 cash bond and assigned a court date of July 17 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Katherine M. Sanford, 34, of Naugatuck, was charged July 3 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 3 at 7:52 p.m. the accused turned herself in on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court. The accused was released on a court-set $500 surety bond and given a court date of July 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Ernest E. Gatison, 34, of 86 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged July 4 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension-alcohol, possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of cannabis, interfering with an officer/resisting, illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle, engaging police in pursuit and reckless driving.

Police reported the accused was arrested on the above listed charges, however the arrest report was not yet available. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 17.

Dennis L. Chubbs, 41, of 98 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged July 4 with risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 4 officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 98 Curtiss St. with juvenile children involved. Police reported the accused reportedly lunged at the victim trying to hit her during a verbal dispute and two children got between them preventing a physical altercation. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond and assigned a court date of July 5 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Steven Mark Day, 36, of 38 Highland Ave. Apt. 301, Naugatuck, was charged July 4 with disorderly conduct, illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence (3rd/subs) and illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension.

Police reported on July 4 officers were dispatched to a residence for a domestic disturbance where the accused reportedly slammed the victim’s head into the wall. Police reported the accused had left prior to officers’ arrival and was reported to be under the influence of alcohol. Police reported the accused returned to the residence and upon further investigation was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and had a suspended license. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and assigned a court date of July 5 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Misty Vadala, 37, of 565 Piedmont St., Waterbury, was charged July 5 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 5 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused conceal merchandise totaling over $106.39 and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 17.

Jesse Wilkinson, 32, of 358 Scott St., Naugatuck, was charged July 5 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 5 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $250 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 17.

Kellie Anne Donovan, 31, of 41 Woodland St., Naugatuck, was charged July 6 with possession of controlled substance or more than a half ounce of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 6 at approximately 12:08 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 275 Church St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia. The accused was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 24. Police reported the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $2,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on July 17.

Robert H. Bailey III, 44, of 23 Forest St., Naugatuck, was charged July 6 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence (2nd offense).

Police reported on July 6 at approximately 8:50 p.m. officers responded to the area of 132 Johnson St. on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, officers located the accident and observed the vehicle had hit a construction vehicle parked on the side of the road. Upon interviewing the operator, police reported, they determined that the accused was impaired. The accused was released on a
$500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 17.

Giovanni Ortiz, 29, of 35 Counselor Drive, Naugatuck, was charged July 6 with third-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 6 at approximately 10:10 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to a witness, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck and squeezed. The accused was released on a $5,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 8.

Jonathan Vincenzo Subh-Marcano, 22, of 380 Hitchcock Road Apt. 206, Waterbury, was charged July 7 with two counts of violation of protective order.

Police reported on July 7 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant was from a domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on May 25, 2019 in which the accused violated a standing protective order on two occasions. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 8.

Sara N. Potts, 30, of 801 Beacon Valley Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 7 with illegal operation of motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Police reported on July 7 at approximately 1:16 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Route 8 South at Exit 26. Police reported the accused was observed failing to drive in the proper lane. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. The accused was given a court date of July 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Troop I reported the following charges recently filed in Beacon Falls and Prospect:

Alexander Rocco, 31, of 181 Blackberry Hill Road, Beacon Falls, was charged July 4 with disorderly conduct and violation of probation.

Lamberto Marquez-Craig, 20, of 290 MacCauley Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 6 with third-degree assault.

Michael Timothy Alldredge, 40, of 135 Marino Drive, Milford, was charged July 8 with second-degree robbery, fourth-degree larceny and second-degree breach of peace.
