Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Robert George Kackowski, 56, of 5726 126th Ave. N., Clearwater, Fla., was charged May 13 with first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on May 13 officers were dispatched to the Mountview Liquors at 727 Rubber Ave. for a suspicious person complaint. Police reported store employees advised that they observed the accused in the area. Police reported the accused had previously been banned from the property on May 7, 2019 for a previous larceny and other ongoing issues. The accused was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 14.

Maranyelis Pacheco, 27, of 852 South Main St. Apt 2b, Waterbury, was charged May 14 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 14 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 29.

Keven O. Santos, 21, of 18 Central Ave. Apt. 7G, Waterbury, was charged Ma 14 with four counts of third-degree burglary, four counts of sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft, illegal use of payment card, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on May 14 the accused was arrested on active arrest warrants at Waterbury Superior Court. The warrants were from incidents that occurred on Feb. 5, 2019, Jan 31, 2019 and Feb. 1, 2019. The accused was held to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 14.

Juan Antonio Lopez, 25, of 28 Edgewood Ave. Apt. Rear, Waterbury, was charged May 15 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of marijuana and possession with intent to sell.

Police reported on May 15 at approximately 9:17 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 43 Patricia Lane. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on $75,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 29.

Marita Ann Carneiro, 52, of 1626 Highland Ave., Waterbury, was charged, May 15 with possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of marijuana.

Police reported on May 15 at approximately 9:17 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 43 Patricia Lane. The accused was released on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 29.

Raymond Nicholas Eddie Rosario IV, 24, of 82 Robert St., Waterbury, was charged May 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 15 at approximately 1:40 p.m. the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on May 27.

Alyssa Lin Washington, 27, of 30 Garden St., Seymour, was charged May 15 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on May 15 at approximately 3:09 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $64.76 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported the accused was also in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on
$500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 29.

Michelle Ann Dewitt, 54, of 157 School St., Naugatuck, was charged May 15 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and possession of controlled substance or more than half ounce of marijuana.

Police reported on May 15 at approximately 3:09 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $64.76 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported the accused was also in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on
$500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 29.

Jacob Morales, 25, of 44 Osborn Road Apt. C3, Naugatuck, was charged May 15 with violation of restraining order.

Police reported on May 15 at approximately 8 p.m. officers responded to residence on a report of a full no contact restraining order violation. Police reported officers made contact with the victim and a male subject was found to be in violation of a full no contact restraining order by being at the residence and with the victim. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 16.

Venus Rojas, 37, of 3353 Fort Independence St., Apt. 16T, Bronx, N.Y., was charged May 17 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 1:12 a.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal less than $500 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 22.

Mercedes C. Rodriguez, 22, of 2000 Prospect Ave., Apt. 10D, Bronx, N.Y., was charged May 17 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 1:12 a.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal less than $500 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 22.

Emerald T. Cruz-Djesus, 18, of 4298 Park Ave., Apt. 5, Bronx, N.Y., was charged May 17 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 1:12 a.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. The accused was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 22.

Melinda M. Cruz, 27, of 4298 Park Ave., Apt. 5, Bronx, N.Y., was charged May 17 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Richard Cantillon, 69, of 40 Edmount Lane, Apt. 205, Wolcott, was charged May 17 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 17 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 29.

Enrique Aguilera, 44, of 253 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged May 17 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 4:26 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance between the accused and a female victim. During the incident, police reported, the accused pushed the female victim after a verbal altercation. The accused was released on $5,000.00 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 20.

Jennifer Bennett-Gleacher, 41, of 38 Lakeview Road, Terryville, was charged May 18 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy.

Police reported on May 18 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a shoplifting incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on May 6, 2019. The incident occurred at the Walmart located, 1100 New Haven Road. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 29.

Kyle T. Dojnia, 28, of 94 Irving St., Naugatuck, was charged May 18 with second-degree breach of peace, risk of injury to child and interfering with an officer/resisting.

Police reported on May 18 at approximately 6:28 p.m. the Naugatuck Police Department was dispatched to the area of Salem School, 124 Meadow St., for a report of an assault between several adult males and possibly some juveniles. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined that the accused was highly intoxicated and created a disturbance in the area of the school. The accused resisted arrest while in the presence of a juvenile, but was eventually taken into custody, police reported. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 30.
