Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:
Silvano Taccone, 58, of 125 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged April 23 with second-degree failure to appear, theft of plates/inserts and first-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on April 23 at approximately 5:29 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road at Maple Street. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle with no insurance and stolen registration plates. Police reported the accused was also arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrants. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.
Sara Marion Johnson, 23, of 43 Quaker Lane, Southington, was charged April 24 with sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on April 24 at approximately 9:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal less than $500 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Heidi Crowley, 35, of 23 Highland Ave., Beacon Falls, was charged April 25 with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police reported on April 25 at approximately 2:47 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Beacon Manor Road and Beacon Valley Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Jennifer Antonina Coggins, 28, of 28 Summer St., Plainville, was charged April 25 with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police reported on April 25 at approximately 2:47 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Beacon Manor Road and Beacon Valley Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. The accused was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior
Court on May 8.
Jennifer Tribanas, 36, of 23 Highland Ave., Beacon Falls, was charged April 25 with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police reported on April 25 at approximately 2:47 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Beacon Manor Road and Beacon Valley Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police reported the accused also failed to carry insurance on her vehicle and was using a registration plate that did not belong to her vehicle. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Daniel L. Barrett, 39, of 670 Mix Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 25 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on April 25 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Jeffrey Grandpre, 56, of 53 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was charged April 25 with possession of controlled substance and failure to respond to infraction.
Police reported on April 25 the accused was arrested on an active failure to respond arrest warrant. Police reported the accused was found to be in illegal possession a controlled substance. The accused was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Sergio Rivera-Soto, 32, of 19 Elmer St., Waterbury, was charged April 26 with illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle.
Police reported on April 26 at approximately 12:18 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 820 New Haven Road. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while in possession of an illegal weapon, without minimum insurance, and while using an improper marker. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Jonathan Subh-Marcano, 22, of 380 Hitchcock Road, Waterbury, was charged April 26 with disorderly conduct, violation of protective order and first-degree criminal trespass.
Police reported on April 26 at approximately 9:35 a.m. officers responded to a residence for a reported domestic incident. It was determined that the two became involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, it was determined that the accused was in violation of a standing protective order and was on a property where he wasn’t allowed. The accused was released on $25,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 29.
Soniayarit Salazar, 25, of 12 Pearl St., Waterbury, was charged April 26 with sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on April 26 at approximately 2:34 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused process items in the self check out and purposely not scan 22 items. Police reported the accused was observed scanning only a few items then skipping others while he bagged them all. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject illegally conceal $253.73 worth of items and exit the store without paying for them. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Leilany Gonzalez, 23, of 20 Washington St., Waterbury, was charged April 26 with sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on April 26 at approximately 2:34 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused process items in the self check out and purposely not scan 20 items. The accused was observed scanning only a few items then skipping others while she bagged them all. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject illegally conceal $80.17 worth of items and exit the store without paying for them. The accused was released on promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Travis Adam Gilberti, 38, of 46 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged April 27 with second-degree harassment.
Police reported on April 27 at approximately officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic incident involving ongoing harassment. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused was harassing the victim for some time through email and texts messages. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 29.
Jessica Lynn Malinconico, 26, of 4 Kelsey Court, West Haven, was charged April 27 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported on April 27 the accused was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a larceny incident that occurred on Nov. 18, 2018. The accused was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
Daniel Carrasco, 29, of 175 South End Road, East Haven, was charged April 27 with violation of probation.
Police reported on April 27 the accused was arrested on a probation violation. The accused was released on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.
