Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Sameria Dukes, 19, of 53 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was charged April 16 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 16 the accused was arrested on an active failure to appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was released on a $1,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 16.

Samuel Dukes, 53, of 114 Benedict St., Waterbury, was charged April 16 with second-degree failure to appear, interfering with an officer and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on April 16 at approximately 2:23 a.m. officers responded to 53 Conrad St. on a report of a suspicious person looking into motor vehicles. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported the accused was found to be in possession of marijuana and interfered with the officer’s investigation by giving the wrong name. Police reported the accused was also arrested on an active Failure to Appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.

Brandon R. Clark, 28, of 3 Sunny Lane, Stormville, N.Y., was charged April 16 with fifth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on April 16 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused conceal items totaling over $500 and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.

Marcus A. Abrams, 28, of 289 Oak Ridge Road, Hopewell Jct., N.Y., was charged April 16 with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 16 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused conceal items totaling over $500 and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.

Tommy Torres, 33, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged April 16 with disorderly conduct and second-degree violation conditions of release. Torres was charged April 17 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 16 at approximately 3:38 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused grabbed the victim forcefully and hit a cell phone from her hand. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17. Police reported at approximately 8:52 p.m. officers responded to residence on a report of a violation of a full “no contact” conditions of release. Officers made contact with the caller, multiple witnesses and a male subject who was found to be in violation of a standing conditions of release by being at the residence and within the area of the victim, police reported. Police reported the accused was witnessed yelling and screaming while intoxicated on the victim’s porch. The accused was held on a $50,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.

Police reported on April 17 at approximately 8:28 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a violation of a full “no contact” conditions of release. Police reported officers made contact with a male subject who was found to be in violation of a standing conditions of release by being at the residence. The accused was held on a $100,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 18.

Jueal Emmanuel Lewis, 23, of 44 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 16 with disorderly conduct, sixth-degree larceny, second-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on April 16 at approximately 10:33 p.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused threw items at the victim. Police reported the accused also caused a door knob to hit a baby in the head during the altercation. The accused was held on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.

Jennifer Gibran, 34, of 158 Hillside Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 17 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 17 at approximately 11:45 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused process merchandise in the self check out and purposely did not scan several items. The accused was observed scanning only a few items then skipping others while she bagged them all, police reported. Police reported the accused then attempted to exit the store without paying for the non-scanned merchandise with an approximate total of $64.72. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.

Jarrett J. Krischke, 36, of 52 Hilltop Drive, Manchester, was charged April 18 with sixth-degree larceny, first-degree criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on April 18 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal merchandise valued under $500 and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported the accused was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia and was previously told not to be on Walmart properties through a signed no trespass. The accused was arrested released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.

Frank Heger, 48, of 32 Elm St., Hartford, was charged April 18 with illegal possession of narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of weapon in a motor vehicle.

Police reported on April 18 at approximately 1:08 a.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported the accused was found in his motor vehicle after he was waiting for another individual who was concealing and taking items from Walmart. Police reported the accused was found in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, an illegal weapon, and the vehicle was found to be uninsured. The accused was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 18.

Angelina Marie Guilfoil, 31, of 132 Washington Ave., Seymour, was charged April 18 with violation of probation.

Police reported on April 18 the accused was arrested on a violation of probation. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear at New Haven Superior Court on April 29.

Angelica Marie Viruet, 22, of 250 Northridge Drive, Waterbury, was charged April 19 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 19 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused conceal items totaling over $60.98 and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 8.

Jose Antonio Pacheco, 40, of 20 South St., Waterbury, was charged April 19 with second-degree failure to appear and first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 19 the accused was arrested on active failure to appear arrest warrants. The accused was released on surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 2.

Anthony James Schryver, 21, of 18 Elaine Drive, Seymour, was charged April 20 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 20 at approximately 1:58 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 27 South Main St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs in which he failed to operate his motor vehicle in the proper lane. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 2.

Amber R. Damiano, 31, of 41 Coppermine Road, Farmington, was charged April 20 with sale of certain illegal drugs.

Police reported on April 20 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from an incident that occurred on March 19, 2015. The accused was held on a $200,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 22.

Erin Ashley McCormick, 29, of 121 Skokorat St., Seymour, was charged April 20 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on April 20 at approximately 8:07 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 411 North Main St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.

Ashley Ann Lucas, 33, of 72 Lorann Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 21 with sixth-degree larceny and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on April 21 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed the accused illegally conceal $217.25 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported the accused also was in possession of a controlled substance. The accused was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.

John Michael O’Shea, 19, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged April 22 with theft of plates/inserts and illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension.

Police reported on April 22 at approximately 12:36 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 17 Salem St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle with stolen registration plates, a suspended license and without minimum insurance. The accused was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 1.

Anthony Lorusso, 32, of 111 Deer Run, Plantsville, was charged April 19 with driving under the influence.
