Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:
Romaine Patterson, 23, of 116 Quinn St., Naugatuck, was charged April 3 with first-degree burglary.
Police reported police were dispatched to Naugatuck Town Hall to investigate a burglar alarm. While officers were clearing the building, police reported, Patterson was discovered inside Town Hall hiding in a metal cabinet. Patterson was held on a $5,000 bond pending his appearance at Waterbury Superior Court.
Adrian Brandon Vargas, 22, of 95 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged April 4 with disorderly conduct, second-degree breach of peace, third-degree strangulation, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on April 4 Vargas was arrested on active arrest warrants. One stemmed from a domestic incident that occurred on or about Jan. 23, 2019. During that incident, police reported, Vargas became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical resulting in minor injuries to the victim. Police reported one warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that occurred on or about Jan. 20, 2019. During that incident, police reported, Vargas became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical resulting in minor injuries to the victim. Police reported Vargas was also arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Vargas was processed and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 4.
Michael Pulaski, 51, of 80 Evan Road, Southington, was charged April 4 with driving under the influence.
Police reported on April 4 at approximately 1:59 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. Police reported Pulaski was observed to be driving over the posted speed limit and was stopped. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Pulaski was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Pulaski was given a court date of April 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
Shane Oshea, 18, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged April 4 with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace.
Police reported on April 4 was arrested on the above listed charges. The arrest report was not yet available regarding this arrest. Oshea was released and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.
Tramell Arthur Moultrie, 29, of 22 Oil Mill Terrace, Danbury, was charged April 4 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on April 4 Moultrie was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Moultrie was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.
Anthony R. Sullivan, 37, of 53 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was charged April 5 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on April 5 Sullivan was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Sullivan was held on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 5.
Sarah L. Siddell, 32, of 154 Eno Ave., Torrington, was charged April 5 with second-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on April 5 Siddell was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant while at Waterbury Superior Court. Siddell was released to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 5.
Devonte Perez-Quiles, 24, of 76 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 5 with second-degree criminal mischief, risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.
Police reported on April 5 officers responded to the Lantern Park condo association for a reported domestic disturbance between male and female adults. During the incident, police reported, both subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when the male subject was found to have smashed household items including a television. Officers also observed damage within the dwelling to a doorway that appeared to have been damaged during the incident, police reported. Perez-Quiles was given a court date of April 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 bond.
Kathryn Quiello, 37, of 27 Manila Ave., Woodbridge, was charged April 5 with second-degree failure to appear, illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension, possession of controlled substance and failure to keep narcotics in original container.
Police reported on April 5 at approximately 5:25 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation at the Mobil Gas Station located at 282 South Main St. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Quiello was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, in possession of marijuana, and for failure to keep prescription medication in its original container. Police reported Quiello was also arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Quiello was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 8.
Brian William Herpin, 39, of 26 Newgate Road, Oxford, was charged April 6 with first-degree criminal trespass, sixth-degree larceny and violation of restricted substances regulated.
Police reported on April 6 at approximately 7:54 a.m. officers were dispatched to the area of Walmart at 1100 New Haven Road. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Herpin illegally conceal $31.50 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for the items. Herpin was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.
Charles T. Anderson Jr., 62, of 565 Chestnut Tree Hill Road, Oxford, was charged April 7 with driving under the influence.
Police reported on April 7 at approximately 5:53 p.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street at Cedar Street. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Anderson was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol while in an unregistered motor vehicle. Anderson was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 18.
Miranda Dorothy Silva, 35, of 82 Harris Circle, Waterbury, was charged April 8 with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass.
Police reported on April 8 officers were dispatched to the Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Silva conceal merchandise totaling over $116.47 and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported Silva was also not allowed on the premises through oral and written agreement. Silva was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.
Monica Hartis, 32, of 18 Morning Mist Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 8 with first-degree failure to appear.
Police reported on April 8 Hartis was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Hartis was held on a $25,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 8.
Trevor Robles, 18, of 149 Cooke St., Waterbury, was charged April 8 with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.
Police reported Robles voluntarily surrendered at Naugatuck Police Headquarters on April 8 on the outstanding arrest warrant pertaining to this case. Police reported the arrest warrant stemmed from an incident in December 2018 in which Robles, with accomplices, entered Walmart in Naugatuck and took over $5,000 in electronics from Walmart before fleeing the store. Naugatuck police previously issued a press release requesting the public and media’s assistance in locating Robles. After posting a $10,000 bond, police reported, Robles was transferred to Orange police, who also held an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Robles was given a court date of April 17.
Elijah Angel Guadalupe, 20, of 696 Prospect St., Southington, was charged April 8 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on April 8 at approximately 9:18 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Guadalupe became involved in an argument with two victims that escalated and became physical when, according to the victims, Guadalupe punched the victims multiple times. Guadalupe was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 9.
Daymein Jason Norris, 19, of 461 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged April 8 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on April 8 at approximately 9:18 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Norris became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Norris punched the victim multiple times. Norris was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 9.
William Swenton, 70, of 461 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged April 8 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Swenton became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Swenton punched the victim multiple times. Swenton was released on promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 9.
Stanley G. Smith, 42, of 1007 Highland Ave., Waterbury, was charged April 9 with two counts of violation of probation.
Police reported on April 9 Smith was arrested on probation violations. Smith was released on a surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on April 22.
Joseph Wilkas, 51, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 9 with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening.
Police reported on April 9 officers responded to a disturbance in which Wilkas barged into a residence and became involved in a verbal argument with the victim. Police reported Wilkas threatened the victim and caused a scene at the residence. Police reported Wilkas was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Wilkas was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on April 24.
Jeancarlo Rivera, 28, of 49 Golden Hill Court, Naugatuck, was charged April 9 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported on April 9 at approximately 5:46 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Rivera became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Rivera slapped the victim in the face which caused her glasses to fly off. Rivera was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 10.
