Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Alison Belloff, 24, of 156 Westbury Park, Watertown, was charged March 29 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 29 at approximately 12:27 a.m. an officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Route 63 and South Main Street. Police reported Belloff failed to travel in the proper lane and was stopped. Through the officer’s investigation, police reported, Belloff was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Belloff was given a court date of April 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Tracey Crane, 47, of 1121 West Lake Road, Guilford, was charged March 29 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 29 at approximately 7:14 a.m. officers arrested Crane on an active arrest warrant. The incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance that became physical when, according to the victim, Crane pushed the victim into a dresser, police reported. Crane was released on a $1,000 surety bond and given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 29.

Ian Place, 19, of 112 Bluebird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged March 30 with 15 counts of first-degree burglary, 11 counts of third-degree trespass, 15 counts of sixth-degree larceny, two counts of criminal attempt at first-degree burglary, carrying a dangerous weapon and possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana.

Noah T. Dunn, 37, of 116 Trowbridge Place, Naugatuck, was charged March 30 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on March 30 officers responded to a domestic disturbance during which it was determined Dunn was at the residence in violation of a standing protective order. Dunn was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on April 1.

Frank Rose, 27, of 23 Woodbine St., Naugatuck, was charged March 30 with failure to respond to payable violation and illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension.

Police reported on March 30 the accused was stopped after being observed operating a motor vehicle in violation of state statute concerning the failure to display both a front and rear registration plate. Upon speaking with Rose, police reported, it was determined that his operator’s license was suspended. Police reported Rose was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a failure to respond violation. Rose was released bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 12.

Leomaris Perry, 36, of 153 Wisteria Drive, Naugatuck, was charged March 31 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported officers responded to a domestic disturbance in which the victim advised that Perry and the victim became involved in a verbal dispute that escalated to a point that the treat of physical violence was imminent. Perry was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on April 1.

Hernan Anthony Lopez-Marin, 47, of 8 Old English Lane, Oxford, was charged March 31 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 31 Lopez-Marin was arrested after being observed sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle on South Main Street at approx. 3:45 a.m. Police reported officers made contact with Lopez-Marin, and upon making contact with Lopez-Marin appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Lopez-Marin was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 11.

Kimberly Borges, 63, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 31 with driving under the influence, reckless driving, creating a public disturbance and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on March 31 Borges was arrested after being stopped on Rubber Avenue after the vehicle she was operating was observed to be driving erratically. Upon being stopped, police reported, Borges appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Police reported Borges initially resisted arrest by failing to exit her vehicle, however she was eventually taken into custody after arresting officers had to use force to get the accused to comply. Borges was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 10.

Emmett William Dalton, 29, of 49 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged March 31 with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny. Dalton was charged April 1 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and four counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 31 Dalton was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a burglary that occurred on Sept. 30, 2018. Dalton was held on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 1.

Police reported on April 1 Dalton was served an active arrest warrant stemming from a larceny incident that occurred at the Naugatuck Big Y store on Jan. 19, 2019. During that incident, police reported, Dalton was involved in a shop lifting incident. Police reported Dalton was also arrested on active failure to appear arrest warrants. Dalton was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 1.

Brian L. Stoerzinger Jr., 32, of 123 May St., Naugatuck, was charged March 31 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 31 Stoerzinger was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a domestic dispute that occurred on Feb. 13, 2019. Stoerzinger was released on a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 1.

Alexander Defelice, 42, of 120 Thunderbird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 1 Defelice was arrested on an active arrest warrant stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on March 12, 2019. Police reported the investigation revealed that Defelice became involved in a verbal dispute with the victim. The victim reported that Defelice made several threatening remarks to her, police reported. Defelice was released on bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury
Superior Court on April 1.

Patricia Santamaria, 49, of 80 Manners Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with first-degree failure to appear and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 1 Santamaria was arrested on active failure to appear arrest warrants. Santamaria was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 2.

Caitlyn M. Andrew, 35, of 75 City Brook Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 1 with five counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 1 Andrew was arrested on active failure to appear arrest warrants. Andrew was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 2.

Robert Allen Loughlin, 57, of 1 Park Drive, Middlebury, was charged April 2 with violation of probation, interfering with an officer and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension.

Police reported on April 2 Loughlin was observed to be operating a vehicle displaying expired registration plates. Police reported Loughlin was stopped and upon speaking with him he identified himself with a false name. A check of the vehicle paperwork showed the vehicle was registered in another name and a check of DMV records showed the subject’s proper name as well as a driver’s license photo, police reported. It was further determined that Loughlin had a current order to detain for a probation violation, police reported. Loughlin was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 2.

Kelly Baldino, 38, of 8 Pond St., Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with violation of probation.

Police reported on April 2 Baldino was arrested on a violation of probation. Baldino was held on a $25,000 bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on April 2.

Lindsay Andrews, 30, of 39-3 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 2 police were dispatched to Ridge Road on a neighbor dispute. Police reported it was determined during the investigation that two neighbors became engaged in a verbal dispute during which Andrews threw an egg at the victim. Andrews was issued a misdemeanor summons to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 11.

Justin Tompkins, 38, of 275 Evening Star Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 2 with fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 2 Tompkins was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant stemmed from an incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on July 25, 2018 in which Tompkins had pawned numerous gift cards that had a zero balance on them totaling a combined pawn value of $998. Tompkins was processed on the arrest warrant and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 17.

Kendall Takwaun Saunders, 27, of 72 Star Ave., Danbury, was charged April 2 with third-degree robbery and second-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 2 Saunders was arrested on an active warrant stemming from an incident at that occurred at a local convenience store in February. Police reported Saunders forcefully stole money from the victim then fled the area. Saunders was held on a court-set $10,000 bond.

Troop I reported the following charges recently filed in Beacon Falls and Prospect:

Tomas Gonzalez, 26, of 975 Meriden Road, Waterbury, was charged March 20 with two counts of throwing objects at motor vehicles, two counts of second-degree breach of peace and two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment.
