Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Kyle A. Anders-Huculak, 20, of 143 Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 20 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported a patrol officer observed Anders-Huculak on Hoadley Street on foot and knew him to have an outstanding arrest warrant for failure to appear. Anders-Huculak was taken into custody and charged on the warrant. Anders-Huculak was released on a $1,000 bond pending his appearance at Meriden Superior Court on March 6.

Tracy Alejandro, 45, of 5 Briarwood Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 20 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported Alejandro was taken into custody for an incident which stemmed from a domestic dispute in which Alejandro struck an adult victim in the face. Alejandro was released on bond pending her appearance at Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 21.

Keri A. Maitland, 38, of Wait Street, Walden, N.Y., was charged Feb. 20 with driving under the influence and drinking while driving.

Police reported Naugatuck police received a complaint of an erratic driver in a box/utility truck during the snow storm on Feb. 20. Police located the vehicle on Route 63 (Meadow Street) and initiated a traffic stop. Police reported Maitland failed to perform field tests to standard and was subsequently taken into custody and charged with DUI (a commercial motor vehicle) and drinking while drinking. Maitland was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond pending her appearance at Waterbury Superior Court on March 6.

Harrison Gaits Herdzik, 20, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 21 with second-degree failure to appear, first-degree criminal trespass and violation of restraining order.

Police reported on Feb. 21 Herdzik was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant and an active arrest warrant from a domestic incident that was reported to
Naugatuck police on Nov. 30, 2018. Herdzik was held on surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 21.

Raul Lima II, 46, of 142 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 21 with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Feb. 21 officers were dispatched to the Cumberland Farms at 69 Rubber Ave. on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported store employees advised that they observed Lima conceal items totaling less than $500 and exit the store without paying for items. Police reported Lima was also not allowed on the property as he was told multiple times by Cumberland Farms and the Naugatuck Police Department. Lima was held on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 21.

Timothy Fredrick Chapman, 27, of 1289 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 21 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 21 Chapman was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Police reported the warrant stemmed from a motor vehicle accident that occurred Jan. 19 on Cherry Street while Chapman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Chapman was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 28.

Michael Ljungquist, 32, of 58 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 21 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Feb. 21 Ljungquist was arrested on a probation violation. Ljungquist was released on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 21.

Kenneth R. Fields, 25, of 7 South Pennewell Drive, Wilmington, Del., was charged Feb. 21 with second-degree failure to appear and second-degree stalking.

Police reported on Feb. 21 Fields was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Police reported Fields was also arrested on June Street for a stalking complaint. Police reported Fields was advised by police to stay away from the residence, yet he returned several times after being told not to be anywhere near the residence. Fields was held on a surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 22.

Scott David Newhart, 50, of 73 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 21 with evading responsibility.

Police reported on Feb. 21 Newhart was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a evading a motor vehicle accident complaint that occurred on May 5, 2018 on South Main Street. Newhart was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 7.

Hector Perez-Lugo, 26, of 41 Anson St., Derby, was charged Feb. 21 with third-degree assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 21 at approximately 10:13 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Perez-Lugo was under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Police reported Perez-Lugo became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Perez-Lugo grabbed the victim by the hair and pushed the victim to the ground. Perez-Lugo was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 22.

Walter Solberg Sr., 59, was charged Feb. 22 with third-degree criminal trespass, second-degree burglary and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 11:55 a.m. officers responded to 137 Lewis St. for a person trespassing in a trailer park. During the incident, police reported, Solberg forced his way into a trailer where he was not allowed to be and he was told multiple times to not be on the property. Solberg was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and given a court date of March 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Sarah L. Siddell, 32, of 53 Lorenzo St., Torrington, was charged Feb. 22 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 22 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Siddell illegally conceal $194.40 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Siddell was released on $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 6.

Devin Rager, 19, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 22 Rager was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Rager was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 6.

Sarah Lena Graf, 28, of 185 Beardsley Road, Shelton, was charged Feb. 23 with first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 23 Graf was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Graf was held on a $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 25.

Ryan Zadravecz, 28, of 43 Benham Ave., Milford, was charged Feb. 23 with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Feb. 23 at approximately 5:15 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the Mobil Gas Station at 282 South Main St for a suspicious person in a motor vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, Zadravecz, the vehicle’s operator, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Zadravecz was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 6.

John Mark Mortensen, 50, of 71 May Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 23 with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 23 at approximately 10:53 p.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Mortensen was intoxicated and became involved in an argument with the victims. Police reported the incident escalated when Mortensen made multiple threats to cause harm to them and cause damage to their property. Mortensen was held on a $5,000 surety bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Feb. 25.

Leticia Abbott-Negron, 39, of 44 Cold Spring Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Feb. 24 Abbott-Negron was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Abbott-Negron was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 6.

Jessica L. Bowley, 27, of 231 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 24 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Feb. 24 Bowley was arrested on a probation violation. Bowley was released on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on March 6.

Colin W. Hotchkiss, 29, of 27 Sachem Drive, Shelton, was charged Feb. 24 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 24 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Hotchkiss illegally conceal over $178 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Hotchkiss was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 6.
