Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Daniel Arturo Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 20, was charged Jan. 9 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported Rodriguez-Gonzalez was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Rodriguez-Gonzalez was held on a court-set $3,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court Jan. 9.

Jennifer Landry, 28, was charged Jan. 10 with risk of injury to child, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and second-degree threatening.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 12:39 a.m. officers responded to a residence for a domestic disturbance between Landry and a male victim. During the incident, police reported, Landry went after the male victim and it turned physical. The male victim stated Landry punched and slapped him several times while he was in bed asleep, police reported. Landry was given a court date of Jan.10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Lacey Logan, 28, of 505 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 10 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at 8:33 p.m. Naugatuck Police investigated a two-car collision on the Prospect Street Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, investigating officers determined that Logan, who was operating one of the vehicles involved, was intoxicated. Logan was released on a $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury
Superior Court on Jan. 24.

Jonathan J. Brown, 33, of 30 Howard St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 11 with sixth-degree larceny and criminal impersonation.

Police reported on Jan. 11 at approximately 2:15 a.m. officers were patrolling the area around Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road. Police reported an officer observed Brown run from the entrance with a loss prevention officer come out behind him. Loss prevention advised that they observed Brown illegally conceal $394.98 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for the items. Brown was held on $1,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 11.

Amy Leigh Capozzi, 34, of 34 Piedmont St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 11 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 11 at approximately 11:34 a.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Capozzi illegally conceal $127.37 worth of items and exit the store without paying for them. Capozzi was released on $500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 23.

Michael Mastrianni, 28, of 16 Lombard Drive, Prospect, was charged Jan. 11 with four counts of failure to respond to payable violation, three counts of second-degree failure to appear and failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Jan. 11 at approximately 4:21 p.m. Mastrianni was arrested on an active arrest warrants. Mastrianni was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 14.

Reyna Burns, 20, of 654 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 11 with driving under the influence, interfering with an officer and second-degree reckless endangerment.

Police reported on Jan. 11 at 5:15 p.m. Naugatuck police initiated a motor vehicle investigation at the intersection of Wood Street and North Main Street. During the stop, police reported, Burns was observed to be operating under the influence of alcohol of alcohol and/or drugs. Burns was given a court date of Jan. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Ronald Paul Barrows, 39, of 100 Jefferson Square, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 12 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Jan. 12 Barrows was arrested on the above listed charges stemming from a domestic incident. The arrest report was not available regarding this arrest. Barrows was released on the listed charges and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court at a later date.

Michael J. Mauro, 34, of 619 Old Litchfield Turnpike, Bethany, was charged Jan. 12 with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Jan. 12 at approximately 7:07 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Route 8 south at Exit 26 on the off ramp. During the investigation, police reported, Mauro was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics/controlled substances. Mauro was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 23.

Paul M. Koniuszewsky, 60, of 61 Male Ave., Shelton, was charged Jan. 13 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 1:02 a.m. Koniuszewsky was arrested on a probation violation. Koniuszewsky was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear at Derby Superior Court on Jan. 30.

Robert A. Munroe, 56, of 202 Crest St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 13 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 6:23 a.m. Munroe was arrested on an active prawn arrest warrant. Munroe was released on a court-ordered $250 cash only bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 23.

Joseph Smith, 34, of 202 Crest Drive, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 13 with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, second-degree forgery, refuses fingerprinting and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 13 Smith was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident that occurred on Jan. 8 from Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road. Smith was held on a $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 14.

Heather Krivi, 28, of 20 Tucci Drive, Stratford, was charged Jan. 13 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 13 at approximately 8:50 a.m. officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. Police reported it was discovered through the investigation that Krivi became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Krivi struck the victim multiple times. Krivi was given a court date to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 14 and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Joshua Reanal Arline, 27, of 32 Murray Road, Bristol, was charged Jan. 13 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 13 Arline was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Arline was released on a $3,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 23.

Patricia Elizabeth Pinto, 44, of 1081 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 14 with driving under the influence and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Jan. 14 at approximately 2:17 a.m. officers initiated a motor vehicle stop in the area of 1081 New Haven Road. Upon interviewing the operator, police reported, officers determined that Pinto was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Pinto was given a court date of Jan. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Willie Huggins, 62, of 1081 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 14 with driving under the influence and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Jan. 14 at approximately 1:45 a.m. officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle complaint in the area of New Haven Road. Upon interviewing the operator, police reported, officers determined that Huggins was under the influence of alcohol. Huggins was given a court date of Jan. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

John Kirdzik, 24, of 26 Bradley St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 14 with disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation.

Police reported on Jan. 14 officers responded to a domestic disturbance in which Kirdzik became involved in a verbal argument with the victim that escalated into a physical altercation. Police reported Kirdzik grabbed the victim and placed the victim in a head lock from behind while at their residence. Kirdzik was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 15.

Thales Neves Silva, 22, of 208 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 15 with second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace and evading responsibility.

Police reported on Jan. 14 at approximately 10:39 p.m. officers responded to the Naugatuck Police Department for a domestic disturbance. The victim advised that her vehicle was just struck twice by Silva’s vehicle after a verbal altercation in which Silva then fled the scene, police reported. Silva was released on a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 15.

Robert Lavertue, 51, of 28 Westly St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 15 Lavertue was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Lavertue was held on a court-set $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 16.

Francheska Concepcion, 36, of 1260 Boston Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Jan. 15 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 15 at approximately 7:08 p.m. officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Concepcion illegally conceal less than $500 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for items. Concepcion was released on promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court at a later date.

Troop I reported the following charges recently filed in Beacon Falls and Prospect:

Joseph James Jackson, 47, of 12 Scott Road, Prospect, was charged Jan 7 with violation of protective order and third-degree assault.
