Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

William Krasinsky, 80, of 18 Rutland St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 5 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 11:02 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance at the Family Market. During an argument, police reported, Krasinsky tried to grab and punch the victim. Krasinsky is known to the victim. Krasinsky was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Jonathan O’Neill-Kunkel, 20, of 8 Pond St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 2 p.m. O’Neill-Kunkel was arrested on an active arrest warrant. O’Neill-Kunkel was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $100 cash bond.

Bardon Lamart Smith, 28, of 58 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with sale of certain illegal drugs.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 6 p.m. Smith was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic investigation during 2017. Based on the investigation, police reported, Smith was found to be distributing crack cocaine and heroin. Smith was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

Michael Tanguay, 28, of 279 California St., Stratford, was charged Dec. 6 with possession of controlled substance and extradition arrest no warrant.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 5:38 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on New Haven Road during which it was determined that Tanguay had an active arrest warrant out of New York. Upon arrest of Tanguay on the warrant, police reported, he was found to be in possession of illegal drugs (marijuana and heroin). Tanguay was arrested and held on separate bonds for the active extraditable arrest warrant and drug possession charges and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 7.

Destiny R. Perry, 25, of 182 Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 7 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 3:51 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Perry slapped and pushed the victim. Perry was given a court date of Dec. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Robert Martin Servidas, 30, of 46 Bridge St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 7 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 9:36 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Old Firehouse Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Servidas was operating under the influence of alcohol. Servidas was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Leigh Richard Oliveira, 27, of 166 Bluebird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 7 with driving under the influence, first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 11:46 p.m. officers responded to Riddles Café on North Main Street for an assault. Police reported Oliveira was involved in a physical altercation with another patron. When Oliveira attempted to drive away, police reported, his vehicle struck the building. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Oliveira was operating under the influence of alcohol. Oliveira was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

Michael D. Freal, 33, of 1001 Peekskill Road, Putnam Valley, New York, was charged Dec. 8 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 8 at approximately 1:54 p.m. Freal was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Freal was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $25,000 surety bond.

Rolando Vilorio, 22, of 39 Pulver St., Torrington, was charged Dec. 8 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 8 Vilorio was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Vilorio was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Torrington Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Troy Jackson, 38, of 65-4 Roundtree Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 9 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 9 at approximately 12:31 a.m. Jackson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Jackson was given a court date of Dec. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Charles S. Romanos, 32, of 18 Park Place, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 9 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 9 at approximately 12:47 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Meadow Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Romanos was operating under the influence of alcohol. Romanos was given a court date of Dec. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Nadirah Y. Langston, 28, of 327 Remington St., Bridgeport, was charged Dec. 9 with possession of less than half ounce of marijuana.

Police reported on Dec. 9 at approximately 2:08 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, Langston was found to be in possession of marijuana. Langston was given a court date of Dec. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Steven Sokolowski, 29, of 9 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 9 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Dec. 9 at approximately 5:19 p.m. Sokolowski was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Sokolowski was given a court date of Dec. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

Emily Emanuel-Norwood, 18, of 11 May St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 10 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 10 at approximately 1:36 p.m. officers responded to Walmart located at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a dispute over a handicapped parking space. Officers spoke with the parties involved as well as employees that witnessed the incident and found that Emily Emanuel-Norwood confronted the operator and passenger of another vehicle that parked in a handicapped spot, police reported. Emanuel-Norwood, who was the passenger in the vehicle she was in at the time, stated that the other car had taken a spot they were waiting to pull into. Emanuel-Norwood got out of the car she was in and confronted the occupants of the other vehicle. During the argument, police reported, Emanuel-Norwood attempted to strike a female passenger of the other car. Emanuel-Norwood was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Jessica C. Aponte, 25, of 12 Brewster St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 10 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 10 at approximately 8:55 p.m. Aponte was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Aponte was given a court date of Dec. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

John Chacho, 26, of 182 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with first-degree failure to appear and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 7 p.m. Chacho was arrested on active arrest warrants. Chacho was turned over to the Naugatuck Police Department by bail enforcement. Chacho was given a court date of Dec. 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $100,000 surety bond.
