Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Scott Kimmer, 47, of 11 Seth Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 14 at approximately 12:45 a.m. police conducted a traffic stop on Spring Street in which it was determined that Kimmer, who was operating the vehicle, was impaired. Kimmer was released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 29.

Selena Medina, 22, of 32 Young St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 14 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 14 Medina was arrested on active failure to appear arrest warrants. Medina was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 14.

Luis E. Morales, 31, of 85 Williams St., Bridgeport, was charged Nov. 14 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 14 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Morales illegally conceal items and exited the store without paying for them. Morales was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

Noemi T. Hall, 32, of 46 Johnson St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 14 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 14 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Hall illegally conceal items and exited the store without paying for them. Hall was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

Ellis Coleman, 38, of 46 Johnson St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 14 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 14 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Coleman illegally conceal items and exited the store without paying for them. Coleman was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 28.

Elizabeth Pedraza, 49, of 95 Thomaston Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 15 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 15 officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road, on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Police reported loss prevention advised that they observed Pedraza illegally conceal items and exited the store without paying for them. Pedraza was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 29.

Megan M. Sullivan, 28, of 121 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 15 Sullivan was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Sullivan was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 26.

Thomas Burns, 59, was charged Nov. 16 with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace, disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Nov. 16 at approximately 5:15 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Police reported Burns threatened to shoot the victim. Officers located Burns outside the home, police reported, and he was taken into custody. When officers were in the home, to seize his firearms, they found drug paraphernalia in Burns’ bedroom, police reported. Burns was given a court date of Nov. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Warren Andrew Seavey, 63, of 183 Pasoe Drive, Southbury, was charged Nov. 16 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 16 at approximately 7:38 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Seavey was operating under the influence of alcohol. Seavey was given a court date of Dec. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Luis A. Pumarejo, 51, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 16 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 16 at approximately 9:40 p.m. Pumarejo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Pumarejo was given a court date of Nov. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Juan Lopez, 24, of 28 Edgewood Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 17 with driving under the influence, reckless driving and evading responsibility.

Police reported on Nov. 17 at approximately 12:48 a.m. officers responded to Anderson Street for an accident. Police reported Lopez struck three parked vehicles and drove from the area. Lopez was located and stopped on Spring Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Lopez was operating under the influence of alcohol. Lopez was given a court date of Nov. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

Amy Castiello, 27, of 57 Hillside Drive, Beacon Falls, was charged Nov. 17 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 17 at approximately 2:14 a.m. officers responded to Scott Street for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Castiello struck a fence, and there were no injuries reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Castiello was operating under the influence of alcohol. Castiello was given a court date of Nov. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Christian Martinez, 27, of 226 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 17 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 17 at approximately 10:25 p.m. officers responded to an assault. During an argument, police reported, Martinez punched and kicked the victim. The victim sustained a laceration to his face and hand, police reported. The victim was treated at a local hospital. Martinez was given a court date of Nov. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Sean Michael Marchant, 26, of 20 Merriman Lane, Prospect, was charged Nov. 13 with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.
