Naugatuck police recently filed the following charges:

Carla A. Roman, 33, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 13 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 13 at approximately 6:37 a.m. Roman turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Roman was given a court date of Sept. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $1,000 surety bond.

Romaine Patterson, 23, of 116 Quinn St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 13 with second-degree failure to appear and three counts of violation of probation.

Police reported on Sept. 13 Patterson was arrested on probation violations. Patterson was scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 27.

Rui Batista, 38, of 51 Pilgrim Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 13 with driving under the influence and operating motor vehicle without ignition device.

Police reported on Sept. 13 Batista was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a motor vehicle investigation on July 21, 2018 in which Batista was found to have been operating a pickup truck that ran off the road near 136 Church St. and collided with a street sign and a tree, police reported. Batista was found to have been operating the vehicle without an ignition interlock device, which he was court ordered to have been using at the time of the collision and also displayed signs of intoxication on scene, police reported. Tests confirmed his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit, police reported, and due to Batista being hospitalized at the time of the collision he was arrested by warrant. Batista was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 27.

Radford Page, 43, of 107 Van Buren Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged Sept. 13 with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Sept. 13 Page was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on July 10, 2018. Page was held on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 14.

Joshoel Mullen, 33, of 250 Cooke St., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 14 with two counts of illegal obtaining of prescription drugs, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 14 Mullen was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a fraud investigation that initiated on or about June 22, 2018 from the CVS store located at 98 Bridge St. in which Mullen was found to have taken part in obtaining fraudulent prescriptions for Ocyodone pills over the course of several days. Mullen was held on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 26.

Brandon M. Pullins, 40, of 1016 Noble Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Sept. 15 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 14 at approximately 11:48 p.m. Pullins was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Pullins was given a court date of Sept. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Javier Fuente, 35, of 179 Kelsey St., New Britain, was charged Sept. 15 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Sept. 15 at approximately 1:22 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Fuente was operating under the influence of alcohol. Fuente was given a court date of Sept. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Michael Jerome Hayes, 31, of 122 Campfield Road, Manchester, was charged Sept. 15 with fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 15 at approximately 5:45 p.m. Hayes turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on April 25, 2018. Police reported rented a vehicle from A-1 Rentals. Police reported Hayes returned the vehicle and refused to pay the outstanding balance. Hayes was given a court date of Sept. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Jerrod Duane Harris-Thomas, 35, of 65 Oak St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 15 with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening.

Police reported on Sept. 15 at approximately 10:17 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Police reported Harris-Thomas arrived at the victim’s employment to confront her about a custody issue with their child. During the confrontation, police reported, Harris-Thomas threatened to harm the victim’s co-worker. Harris-Thomas was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Maureen Kaminski, 55, of 42 Kosko Lane, Naugatuck was charged Sept. 16 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 11:42 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Kaminski stole $96.43 worth of merchandise. Kaminski was given a court date of Sept. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Mark McGilton, 20, of 65 Snow Crystal Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 16 with second-degree reckless endangerment, violation of protective order and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 10:45 a.m. an officer responded to a domestic disturbance. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a gas station. During the confrontation, police reported, a female juvenile jumped on the hood of the vehicle. Police reported McGilton accelerated and the female fell to the ground. Both parties were arrested. McGilton was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

Rosemary Colon, 34, of 650 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 16 with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on Sept. 16 Colon turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a disturbance reported on May 10, 2018. Police reported Colon saw the juvenile victim walking on the road. Police reported Colon swore and threatened the victim while she was seated in her vehicle. Colon was given a court date of Sept. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

David S. Ebert, 53, was charged Sept. 16 with evading responsibility.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 6 p.m. Ebert turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an evading motor vehicle accident reported on March 2, 2018. Police reported Ebert struck the victim’s vehicle that was parked in a parking lot. The accused drove away without reporting the incident, police reported. Ebert was given a court date of Sept. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Jennifer O’Brien, 38, of 7 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 16 with disorderly conduct and false statement.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 9:41 p.m. O’Brien was arrested on the above listed charges. O’Brien was given a court date of Sept. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Bobby J. Smith, 45, of 432 West Main St., New Britain, was charged Sept. 17 with fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Sept. 16 at approximately 9:44 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, Smith drove from the parking lot. An officer located the vehicle on Candee Road, where Smith exited the vehicle and ran from the vehicle, police reported. Smith was located and taken into custody. Smith was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,500 surety bond.
Raymond Radcliffe, 56, of 317 Wedgewood Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 17 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Sept. 17 at approximately 8:12 a.m. Radcliffe turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Feb. 15, 2018. During an argument, police reported, Radcliffe threatened to harm an acquaintance to the victim and threatened to damage the victim’s vehicle. Radcliffe was given a court date of Sept. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Ramon Sierra, 25, of 62 Ferndale Ave., Waterbury, was charged Sept. 17 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Sept. 17 at approximately 12:40 p.m. Sierra was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Sierra was given a court date of Sept. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $30,000 surety bond.

Jonathan Subh-Marcano, 21, of 81 Clowes Terrace, Waterbury, was charged Sept. 17 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Sept. 17 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Subh-Marcano turned himself in on an active arrest warrant out of Derby. Subh-Marcano was given a court date of Sept. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

Dominique M. Jones, 25, of 3 Highland Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 18 with second-degree breach of peace and violation of protective order.

Police reported on Sept. 18 Jones was arrested on an active arrest warrant stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on Nov. 30, 2017. During that incident, police reported, Jones became involved in an argument with the victim. During the argument, police reported, the incident escalated and became physical when Jones pushed the victim. Jones was released and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 19.

Tatiana Ospina, 30, of 17 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged Sept. 18 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Sept. 18 Ospina was arrested on active failure to appear arrest warrants. Ospina was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 26.

Shayne M. Swenton, 40, of 6 Lawrence Ave., Greenville, Maine, was charged Sept. 18 with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Sept. 18 Swenton was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on May 19, 2018 in which male and female family members became involved in an argument that turned physical when Swenton pushed the victim causing her to fall, police reported. Swenton was held on bond and scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 19.

Troop I reported the following charges recently filed in Beacon Falls and Prospect:

Nicole L. French, 33, of 25 Briarwood Drive, Beacon Falls, was charged Sept. 8 with first-degree failure to appear.

William Higgins, 18, of 3 Carriage Drive, West Haven, was charged Sept. 8 with third-degree burglary, conspiracy at third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, conspiracy at third-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trover.

Benjamin Carrion, 31, of 658 Brooks St., Bridgeport, was charged Sept. 9 with reckless driving, evading responsibility and use of motor vehicle without permission.
